Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 [FeliCa]

Felica changed into her pajamas in her room, sat on her bed and sighed.

It's not a sigh of fatigue, but rather a sigh of not being able to come up with an answer as to what you want to do.

She laughs self-deprecatingly, thinking that she is known as the Empress and has a dignified personality both on the battlefield and at school.

"What's wrong? Why are you laughing like that..."

The door opened and Erika came in wearing her pajamas.

I asked her to stay the night today, saying that I had something to discuss with her.

She is a woman who has cared about me ever since the incident with the Dwaf Company.

It is no exaggeration to say that her strong will and kindness, which were surprising for a 16-year-old, helped her recover quickly.

So I allowed her to call me Felica and told her not to worry about it.

Erica smiled wryly as she sat down in a nearby chair and took a sip of the tea that the maid had prepared for her.

"You're talking about Reid, right?"

"...you knew?"

Erika looked at Felica with a troubled smile and placed the cup on the table.

Felica is usually dignified, with a calm expression, giving off an air that is far from love.

But now her cheeks were slightly flushed and she seemed to be elsewhere.

Erica was not so insensitive as to not see this as a woman and realize that she was in love.

"So, how was it? What were your impressions after observing these past few days?"

"I thought he was an honest man and shouldn't be allowed to escape."

(TL/N: ???)

"I guess so."

Felica said this with a wry smile and a wave of her hand, but Erika couldn't help but laugh at what she said.

Erika also picked up the cup she had placed on the desk and took a sip with a wry smile.

To be honest, the knowledge Reid possesses is extraordinary.

If he had been wearing a gentlemanly smile, people would have been wary.

However, although Reid had a stern look on his face, his emotions were easy to understand.

The expression doesn't change dramatically, but you can tell by looking at the atmosphere and expression.

"So it wasn't the suspension bridge effect."

"...It seems so. I'm in love with Reid."

The first thing I talked to Erika about was that I thought this fluttering in my heart was the suspension bridge effect.

And then he said, "If that's the case, then why not just observe and make a calm judgment?"

Erica said to the confused Felica.

Although she had only been watching for a few days, Felica had realized that she was definitely in love with Reid.

Training methods and knowledge that I didn't know about, and a caring heart for my students.

He relies on students when he lacks strength, and above all, he has good judgment.

Not too protruding, not too withdrawn.

Felica could now only see the good in Reid.

Erica, who was watching Felica's reaction, suddenly burst out laughing in a troubled manner.

When I asked curiously, he shook his head and said,

"No... it's nothing. More importantly, you're wondering whether you should confess or not, right?"

"That's true, but..."

"That's true... In that case, let's meet Reid-san tomorrow. Why don't we decide then?"

"Are you going to decide after we meet?"

As I was starting to worry about Erika's suggestion, she smiled and took a sip of tea.

She then puts the cup down, sits next to Felica, and gently places her hand on hers.

"It's a scary world for women if they stop thinking... but I think relying on instinct is one option."

"...I'm starting to wonder if you're really younger than me, Erica."

Erica smiled happily at Felica's words and left the room as if she had given her the answer.

That's certainly true.

Even on the battlefield, no matter how much training or strategy you put into it, in the end, instinct is what will do the trick.

So at the last minute, I'll decide if I want the raid or not.

Do you want to be his girlfriend or not?

With that in mind, Felica turned off the lights and went to bed.

Perhaps I was so excited, but I didn't fall asleep until after midnight.
