A heavy silence had fallen in the room where Long Xue was.
Feng Yuan closed his eyes for a moment. Kyrian thought for a bit and then asked another question.
"Do you know who you are?"
This time, Long Xue took longer. Her gaze seemed to grow vacant for a few moments until, in a low and timid tone, she answered.
"Long Xue."
Kyrian and the sect leader exhaled almost at the same time. Feng Yuan let out a discreet sigh, but one of relief.
"That is good. At least some memories remain," Feng Yuan murmured briefly.
Kyrian then continued.
"Do you know where you are?"
She shook her head.
"This is the Verdant Sword Sect. Does that name remind you of anything?" Kyrian asked again in a calm tone.
She shook her head once more.
Kyrian cast a glance at Feng Yuan. The leader's brow was furrowed with worry, his gaze fixed on Long Xue.
"What else do you remember about yourself?" Feng Yuan asked.
The answer was silence.
