All my life I've lived like a princess never worrying about anything I was the only child to the lee family. I walked around the room before finally spotting my phone on the sofa where I dropped it last night I looked over at zita and murmured something about the time being too early but she remained unfaced and dragged me to the washroom after thirty minutes of hazle I finally came out feeling refreshed and comfortable. Elinora.. she started I'll be resigning tomorrow, I furrowed my brow slightly a looked at her through the vanity mirror where I sat while she dried my hair. Why....? Zara where are you going to I asked after some hesitation.

We heard the sound of the door knob turning and we turned to look at it soon mom came in, she was holding a velvet box that looked really valuable she placed it on the bed and turned to glance at us she smiled and wish me happy birthday darling. Then she cleared her throat and looked at Zara with disdain in her eyes she. Zara after today my daughter will be taken to the old vila where grand ma will train her to be a proper heiress of the lee family and also train to marry Richard lim the young master of The second richest family in Marie city I want you to make her shine today and you get out by sunset my darling won't need you anymore, she spoke with an air of authority and her tone were icy her eyes distant causing those who were listening to her to panic in shock.

Wow Elinora you look damn gorgeous in this. Zara complimented me I looked at the mirror feeling like a vase that was useless. My long hair was packed into a ponytail with some cascading down my cheek the gown was a green custom made evening gown with three layers looking completely princess like I kept on staring at my reflection.
Elinora say something Zara urged feeling anxious, I smiled back, what was I supposed to say that I feel like a pretty cake going to serve someone else.
I stood up and picked my purse and walked through the door head held high as if I was above everyone else, when I got to the dining hall I kept my head held high my eyes betraying no emotion I greeted my Nana, my grandparents and my parents, my Uncle Jack lee came over and also greeted me for my birthday. I kept a little smile on my face which was fake. First rule was a smile on your face even when you were angry and unable to smile. It should remain there.
I sat down on the table and looked at the food spread all my favorite dishes chicken, pasta, salad, and vegetables soup noodles with a bottle of orange juice. I smiled a little and began to eat. As my head maid Zara served me some dishes with her head lowered.
When I was done I heard mom say something to me
At the banquet you are going to meet Richard lim and from hence forth you will be the lim's family daughter-in-law she finished. I looked at her and smiled.
" Of course mom it's an honor, for us." I replied while my heart was bleeding.
Nana scoffed she never liked me and she always showed it she claimed I was untrained and selfish.
Ellie eat she motioned my mom completely ignoring me, but it didn't bother me I was used to it.
Mom looked like she wanted to say more but she didn't and kept eating I kept my posture straight and watched as every one ate until there were done did I excuse my self and headed to the banquet hall. It was large and spacious very fitting to hold all the people coming.
Honestly this twenty years birthday felt like a trap. But I didn't voice out my thoughts. But suddenly I saw Dad and mom enter with mom yelling at Dad all the workers just left I wanted to leave too but what my dad said completely stunned me.
