Chapter 4 - I Punch Metal For Fun Brochaco

Klaus strolled into the combat class with a confident grin, pissing off everyone in the room.

"Does he think he's special just because he has a True Name?"

"I know right, I'm pretty sure a single punch would wash that smirk away."

"It doesn't matter if you have a true name, what actually matters is if your Aspect is strong."

People voiced out from behind as Klaus took a seat next to Toby.

"Shit twin, I thought you'd run away." He spoke with a grin.

"Nah cuh, why would I run away when I can beat your ass without even blinking." Klaus uttered as he curled his legs up. Toby paused for a moment, almost as if he was considering his words.

"Whatever….. I'm pretty sure the way you're ragebaiting, you would digest your Provoker potion within a few hours." He stated loudly as Klaus hummed to his words.

His eyes drifted towards the arriving Nephis who sat opposite to them, her silver hair was tied neatly in a pony, she wore a simple t-shirt which displayed her defined muscles and some dark blue pants.

The only odd thing about her, was her eyes intensely staring at the both of them.

Toby's and Klaus's eyes made contact, as they had a silent conversation.

"This is it! It's time to aurafarm!"

Klaus continued his enthusiasm, "Yes sir! You don't need to worry about me, but don't you dare show a single shred of emotion."

"Copy that, remember Fang Yuan's face while he was feeding the girl to the bear—utter indifference. Perservere! All of our aura depends on this!"

Klaus softly nodded, his eyes grew distant and indifferent as he stuck his tongue to the roof of his mouth in an effort to showcase his jawline.

Toby—ever the buffoon, took matters into his own hands. He scratched his chin while squinting his eyes, in an effort to imitate hunter eyes.

He slightly flexed his bicep with a soft tug while Klaus sucked his cheeks in, in an attempt to mog.

Nephis's gaze at them attracted a lot of attention, her glance caused Caster from the Han Li clan to cast his eyes at them, which attracted his lackey's attention which then attracted the attention of everyone in the room.

Nephis's eyes slightly narrowed at them, as her body recoiled slightly. 'Are they having a stroke?' She thought seriously as she brought a finger to her cheek.

"..."

Soon, Instructor Rock came into the dojo and delivered a boring lecture or speech—Klaus didn't really pay attention. He was too busy playing kill, fuck and fuck!

It didn't matter in the end, what good was theoretical knowledge about fighting going to be? What mattered most was how you apply and combine your skills.

In the end a person who knew how to fight with a stick would be better than a person who knew how a stick works or something.

Klaus was never really good at giving examples.

Most of the score lingered between ten and fourteen, with almost none reaching higher. However, a few special cases—enhancement aspects got around sixteen to seventeen.

Nephis soon stepped up to the machine, her hands clenched together and without wasting a moment she lashed out with a deliberate and crushing blow—earning her a sixteen.

Caster was next, and his turn was quite short, it wasn't that he failed miserably, but it was that he used his Aspect to augment himself.

His figure turned blurry as his hand whipped out, the machine paused briefly before giving the score as twenty one.

"Show them who's the lion! Show them what happens to small dogs who bark at the lion!" Toby whispered words of encouragement while massaging his shoulders.

But Toby's whispers was basically him talking through a megaphone.

Klaus glanced at him with an unpleasant look before making his way to the machine.

Nephis squinted her eyes in anticipation, along with a peeping Caster.

Klaus stretched his right arm, his fingers curled up into a fist as he let out a small breath, it wasn't that he focused on the strike or anything. It was purely to aurafarm.

His fist shot up incredibly fast, far faster than what the bitchless Caster ever showed. The machine shook softly upon receiving his blow, causing people to gasp slightly.

It made sense, his attribute [Divine Existence] made him the pinnacle of mankind. Behind his scrawny body, laid tense and powerful muscles which could pound metal with ease.

He could literally punch metal for fun.

Moreover, this wasn't taking into account the fact that he didn't use his full power—his vampire physique and also that accursed power too.

The machine took a few minutes to process his strike, but after a moment the machine beeped out.

"Thirty nine."

Sunny, who was stalking through his shadow, felt his eyeballs nearly pop out. His plans of revenge against the youth for his earlier comment to Cassie went straight out the window after that.

While Sunny was petty, he wasn't stupid.

'If I used my vampire strength, I could easily reach fifty four, and if I augmented myself with that, I could reach at least 83.'

Klaus mused to himself.

"That's my boy! He's my big brother y'all! The one with the True Name you know?" Toby called out as Klaus felt his urge to paralyse him grow stronger.

Toby soon walked by him, "Don't worry big brother, I won't outshine you in this. I should let you have some dignity when I beat your ass during sparring."

He said coldly.

Toby quickly walked up, and didn't leave any time for theatrics as he let out a clean and smooth punch. The machine calibrated the power of the attack before beeping out.

"Twenty six."

Sunny unconsciously whistled as his plan of revenge against Toby went out the window once again. He had executed the blow just as soon as he arrived, without any hesitation or any time to build his power.

He was definitely not going to challenge that abomination who could let out such a powerful blow with ease.

This boy was probably more terrifying than his big brother.

Nephis squinted softly, staring at the duo of brothers, her mouth tightened while her fingers clenched against each other slowly.

"This is a surprising generation. Now, we will move on to sparring to evaluate your combat skills." Instructor Rock announced carefully as Toby grinned slightly.
