Chapter 6 - Princess Jin Xuelin’s Request

Princess Jin Xuelin stared at him with a weird expression.

She did not expect a librarian to appear to be like those disgusting greedy wealthy business men.

Her image of the librarian immediately shattered, thinking he would be a powerful reasonable figure.

She sighed inwardly.

However, Sun Chan made a gesture, seemingly wanting to whisper in her ear again.

She was surprised.

Without hesitation, she leaned her ear to her, hearing her whisper, "He's a Sword Expert."

Then, Sun Chan leaned back and acted normal.

The Princess, on the contrary, gasped in shock.

She scrutinized the librarian once again and was flabbergasted.

A Sword Expert? A Sword Expert in Peak Body Tempering Stage? How is that possible? Even a genius in the history of this Mortal World only achieved the Minor Completion Stage Dao at the age of 22 as he entered the mid Qi Condensation Stage!

Yet this dumb-looking man is a Sword Expert? Sun Chan can't be right!

However, there was no way Sun Chan could be wrong. She would certainly not play a joke like that.

Sun Chan was in the late Foundation Establishment Stage, so she was obviously sensitive, especially when she was near to a cultivator.

They would never be able to hide their Dao comprehension, especially the intent radiating from them.

Staring at Liu Wei, keeping his maniac expression, the Princess finally concluded.

He must be from above! From the Spirit Ascension Domain! Or perhaps, above that. The Immortal World!

What in the world is he doing in this place?!

What the Princess clearly concluded though, was she was not able to offend him.

No, the entire Mortal World would never be able to offend him.

At the same time, her eyes lit up.

She wanted to cry.

This might be my chance to finally leave from that engagement!

Hence, without hesitation, she politely replied to Liu Wei, "I don't dare to ask cultivation techniques from you, as in my kingdom should suffice. I practice Archery, so can I ask a book about an insight from an Archery Expert?"

I've done it! If he is really able to provide insight from an Archery Expert, he'll be my savior henceforth! Princess Jin Xuelin screamed in his mind.

Hearing her request, Liu Wei's eyes lit up.

He screamed in his mind, Now, it's your turn, System! Help me! Help me get out of the debt as we will earn more in the future!

[Calm down, host. Here it is.]

[Congratulations! You have initiated a mission: Raise an Archery Expert and You Will Become One!

Description: The system will provide the host a book about the insight of an archery expert and make the Princess borrow it for six months at a price. The amount will depend on you. Use your negotiation skills to get out of your debt.]

The System was silent for a while and finally said in his mind, [Go to the archery part in the Dao Section and you will find the book provided by the System to complete the mission.]

Liu Wei replied in his mind, "I'm on it!"

He stared at the Princess first and smiled brightly, enough to close his eyes.

He said jubilantly, "Certainly. We have it. Let me grab the book and return in a minute."

Then, he stood up and vanished, leaving the three girls speechless.

Princess Jin Xuelin turned to Sun Chan and asked, "He said he has it. Did our Grand Library have it? I don't remember if the royal library has it."

Sun Chan shook her head. She replied, "There might be other Dao's, but there is certainly no Archery Expert's personal record of his insights. If what he said is true, then this library is certainly not normal."

Princess Jin Xuelin nodded absent-mindedly. "Yeah, even the royal library, it only contains cultivation techniques and martial arts. There was an alchemy and artifact process, as well.

This might not really be a normal library… Might be a library from the above."

Her eyes then lit up and said to Sun Chan, "I must ask Uncle Qiao Long if this library has a permit or when was it established. If it really appears out of nowhere…"

Her heart skipped a beat.

So was Sun Chan.

Princess Jin Xuelin took a deep breath and exhaled.

She mumbled, "I will then have to inform father and warn him of this library's existence, especially the librarian…"

"Certainly, Princess. You must do that," replied Sun Chan.

Wang Chan, who has been quiet on the side, mumbled.

"You two are simply overthinking it."

The Princess gave her an icy stare and mumbled, "Did I not tell you to keep quiet?"

Wang Chan lowered her head even more.

Finally, Liu Wei appeared after leaving the third library shelf, holding a book.

His eyes widened as he smiled brightly, walking towards them.

Once he sat, he placed the book into the table and said, "Princess, you can't buy this book. You can only borrow it for six months at a price."

The Princess was stunned. She did not glance at the book yet, for she was distracted by Liu Wei's words.

She nodded with a warm expression. "Don't worry…" Her voice trailed off, seemingly trying to find the next words.

Liu Wei smiled and said, "I'm Liu Wei."

The Princess nodded, "Mr. Liu Wei, don't worry. I'm fine with that."

"Hah! I was right. You were just a con!" Wang Chan suddenly shouted.

They were startled. They turned to Wang Chan as she pointed at the book on the table.

She said, "Look, it's empty."

The Princess glanced at the book and was surprised it was indeed empty.

She glanced at Liu Wei, wanting an explanation.

Liu Wei smiled and said, "That is because we have not negotiated the price yet. The texts will then appear once the owner is decided and the negotiation has been completed."

The girls' eyes widened.

Wang Chan was in disbelief.

"Ridiculous! Extremely ridiculous!"

"Shut up!" Princess Jin Xuelin screamed at the maid beside her, shutting Wang Chan's mouth in an instant.

Wang Chang was taken aback, her heart almost leapt out of her chest. She lowered her head and tried not to cry.

Princess JIn Xuelin turned to Liu Wei and lowered her head slightly, "I apologize for my maid's behavior, Mr. Liu Wei."

Liu Wei awkwardly laughed, scratching the back of his head.

He replied, "It's fine. My previous customers had the same reaction anyway."
