Gilran awakens in a hospital room after being critically injured during a Gate outbreak. A glowing blue screen hovers before him:

At first, he believes it's some sort of hallucination. But when the System pulls him into his first Blood Trial Dungeon, he's forced to survive against an ancient vampire lord. Upon killing it, he claims its blood, unlocking his first racial ability and his access to Heaven Gate's King Tier treasures.
From there, his path runs parallel to Jin-Woo's sometimes crossing, sometimes diverging as he slowly builds a legion of the strongest beings across all races, using blood as his medium.
