Chapter 1 - The shadow of the shadow: a legend in the heart of the darkness

In a world where the shadow of betrayal blankets every street, and blood serves as its only currency…

The city of Nixar was like an open wound, bleeding beneath a sky that knew no mercy.

Corruption crawled like a relentless cancer, and gangs ruled the fate of men like puppets without strings.

And in the heart of this darkness, a legend was born…

A legend whispered in the back alleys, a name feared more than death itself.

They called him "The Shadow Blade".

A creature born of silent, moonless nights, striking faster than a thought can form.

Seen only when he chose to be seen…

And striking only when the harvest was due.

His name alone was enough to turn the strongest men into trembling children in the dark.

Tonight…

In a place where the last breath of light flickered, where fire panted and steel screamed for blood…

A new chapter in the book of terror was about to be written.

Fifty armed men surrounded a single figure…

But what if that man was the living embodiment of annihilation?

Prepare yourselves…

The beginning will be black…

And the end may spare no one.

Amid this gloom, like an eternal funeral, King stood motionless in the center of a courtyard ringed with fire and men. Fifty warriors with loaded weapons surrounded him. There was no escape.

But King… had never needed to escape.

(Slow breathing sound + faint footsteps on the ground)

He was like the shadows—unseen unless he wished otherwise. A legendary killer whose very name was terror given voice.

(Heartbeat quickening… a faint metallic "tching" as his eyes ignite)

King's crimson eyes glowed like embers from hell… and a faint smile curved on his lips.

From an elevated platform, the gang leader watched with a mocking grin:

"So, you're the Shadow Blade I've heard so much about?"

Then he gestured sharply to his men: "Kill him! Make an example out of anyone who dares stand against me!"

(Explosion of action music – gunfire – men screaming)

And in a heartbeat… King was gone.

(Roar of wind – sudden movement – rapid strikes)

He appeared in the heart of the battle like a phantom of death.

His dagger flashed like lightning… his steps were soundless.

Soldier: "W–Where is he?!"

Another: "H–He's there!!"

(Clash of steel – "tshhh" as blades cut through the air – raw screams)

"AAAHHHH!!" (a soldier stabbed from behind)

"Urrghhh!!" (another slashed across the neck)

"Nooo!! Impossible!!" (a terrified scream before falling)

"AAAHHHH!! My body!!!" (sound of tearing flesh and blood spraying)

"ARGHHH!! Please!!" (voice trembling in desperation)

"Nooooo! Don't kill meeeeee!!!" (final, hopeless cry before silence)

(The screams fade… bodies fall one by one)

(Music cuts abruptly – heavy silence – King's slow footsteps echo)

King stood alone among the corpses, a statue carved from fear itself.

Now, his gaze locked onto the gang leader, whose arrogance had shattered:

"W–What are you? From what hell did you come?"

The leader stumbled back, breath ragged, trembling.

King stepped forward—slow, silent—bringing death with him.

In a voice as sharp as a blade, he whispered:

"I… am the Shadow Blade. And my presence means… your end."

(Gun cock – "click")

He raised his weapon and fired a single shot.

(Gunshot shattering the silence – long echo)

The leader: "Aaaahhh!!!" (short, sharp death cry)

The man fell.

(The quiet returns – wind sighs – a faint, ominous melody rises)

King lifted his eyes to the sky. The clouds had turned a deep, blood-red… as if they too had taken part in the slaughter.

He murmured softly:

"Why… do I feel like I've forgotten something?"

(Whispering winds – distant murmurs – fading heartbeats)

He turned, and as he walked away, the shadows swallowed him… as if they were swallowing the truth.

Narrator:

It was as though King Valdikar… was nothing more than a phantom who had stepped out of legend… and returned to it.

But as he turned to leave, something strange broke his silence…

On his left forearm…

A brand pulsed like a living nightmare—

Black flames devouring a dead tree,

And a third eye beating within the heart of the ember.

He turned toward the darkness…

And there stood a faceless shadow,

Waving an arm like an ancient curse…

Before melting into the air,

As though it was a secret lost from the memory of time.

King bent forward, the wind howling through his questions:

"These symbols… a riddle from a time stolen from me…"

The narrator's voice cracked under the weight of fate:

He walked… and his shadow stretched on the wall like a beast.

Was the Shadow Blade a master… or a pawn to a greater power?

The courtyard was now a graveyard…

And the single bullet that remained rolled through the blood…

Like a white shackle, warning that the real game… had yet to begin.
