Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: End of Production

She's truly a fairy...

He almost dropped his phone. He slumped into the chair, drained of strength, and slowly calmed his pounding heart.

Unfortunately, the chaotic thoughts in his mind made him subconsciously open his phone's album again, click on the photo he just took, and look at the pink fairy smiling sweetly in the photo, as if she was sitting next to him, smiling and looking at him.

Nangong Yu didn't look in the mirror, but he was sure his expression was quite embarrassing.

In his previous life, he was just a teenager who had just left the ivory tower and hadn't been tempered by society before everything ended. In this life, he had only lived for just over ten years.

It could be said that with his experience, he could only bully Seele. He might not even be able to handle Bronya, let alone Elysia.

He quickly locked and saved the photo, then put down his phone and stood up.

He should go wash his face with cold water to calm down, otherwise, he probably wouldn't be able to work in this state.

The bathroom was next door. Nangong Yu splashed cold water on his face a few times and sighed a few breaths. He did feel much better. He wiped his face with a towel and then sat back down in front of the computer in his studio.

He had not been sitting on the chair for long when he suddenly remembered that Aili seemed to be able to play the piano. There was a piano in the orphanage where Aili used to live, and Aili had been learning since she was a child.

If possible, wouldn't it be nice to have Aili help play the most important piano piece in the game?

However, he should wait until he finishes the main body of the game before doing this. The soundtrack can be put on hold for now; there's no rush.

Thinking like this, he once again plunged into his busy work. Seele called him to eat twice, but he didn't notice.

...

"Hum hum ~"

Lying on a rather large circular sofa, Aili tapped her phone quickly while humming a cheerful song.

Consistent with the clothing in the photo, she was only wearing a simple white dress. Her hair, which hadn't been styled since she got up, was simply tied behind her head and then scattered all the way down her back to her round, pert bottom, making the curves that the thin white dress could hardly hide half-concealed and half-revealed.

Further down, two slender and white legs stretched out from the skirt, her rosy and soft feet rising and falling. Her jade-like instep shone with a charming luster. At the same time, her delicate toes were moving playfully, looking cute and seductive.

"Is this the person you often mention?"

A gentle voice came slowly from not far away, causing Aili, who was wearing a smile, to raise her head.

"Yes ~"

She was too lazy to stand up, so she simply turned over on the sofa, arched to Eden's side like a large caterpillar, and then lay on her full, soft thighs.

Feeling the softness behind her head, Aili's eyes were full of contentment.

Eden was already used to Aili's appearance. She glanced at her helplessly, then raised her hand and gently stroked Aili's hair.

"That guy hasn't sent me a message for a whole week. My dear Eden, tell me, isn't this too much? Making a beautiful girl wait so long in loneliness, is there anything more sad than this?"

"So, the little Aili, who couldn't bear it any longer, took the initiative to contact him?"

Seeming to notice a hint of teasing in her friend's words, Aili arched in her arms with some dissatisfaction.

"What do you mean 'couldn't bear it any longer'? I just saw some beautiful scenery and wanted to share it with my friends. It would be too pitiful if I didn't give it to him alone, wouldn't it?"

Eden just smiled and didn't speak. She could see that the chat box on Aili's phone screen had never changed.

After half an hour, Eden drank cup after cup of tea and almost stroked all of Aili's Aili bald before she saw her put away her phone contentedly and sit up to stretch.

"My dear Eden, I'm so hungry. Let's go have breakfast together ~"

Her face was slightly flushed, and she acted coquettishly towards Eden.

However, Eden sat there without moving, and even looked at her with a rather resentful gaze.

"What's wrong, Eden?"

After a moment of silence, Eden suddenly pointed to her lower body and said to her faintly: "My legs are numb, I can't stand up."

"..."

Fairy Miss finally began to feel shy.

....

There were still more than two months before the Small Game Festival, and time passed slowly in busyness.

In the second half of the game's production, the endless stream of tedious problems meant that Nangong Yu spent much less time with Seele. However, after learning that what her brother was making wasn't that kind of game, Seele moved a table into her brother's studio. When her brother worked, she helped with some small tasks within her ability. When she was free, she would do some small handicrafts that she liked, or push a small stool behind her brother.

She didn't quite understand the complex operations on the computer, but she liked to watch her brother's focused and serious look, supporting her chin with her small face flushed, not knowing what she was thinking in her head. From time to time, Seele would also cut some fruit and feed it to her brother, who didn't have time to eat.

After more than a month like this, the game's production finally came to an end.

"OK, the final test is over, and no BUGs were generated during the process."

Of course, Nangong Yu was just comforting himself by saying this.

The thing about BUGs is really too mysterious. They can appear in any strange place depending on the players' magical brains. Basically, no game designer dares to say that their game has no BUGs.

After so many rounds of testing, Nangong Yu only hoped that there wouldn't be any BUGs that would affect the game's playability. If the continuity of the plot was affected as a result, that would be bad.

Leaning back in his chair, Nangong Yu stretched out a long stretch.

His body, which had been tense for the game for so long, could finally relax now.

He had already given most of the music to a professional team to handle, and he estimated that he would receive the finished product soon. As for the most important soundtrack, his choice remained unchanged.

It seemed that he needed to talk to Aili about it in the next two days.

With one month left before the opening of the Small Game Festival, his and Bronya's works had been reported by a newly established company.

As for the company, Nangong Yu had Cocolia help him set it up. It was affiliated with the huge Entropy Entertainment. Although 50% of the profits had to be turned over, Nangong Yu and Bronya still understood the principle of it being good to enjoy the shade under a big tree.

With this backer, any unfair competition can basically be eliminated.
