"Start by explaining what each wand movement is used for." Flitwick said calmly.
"From what I can understand the wand movements are more about what the purpose of the spell is to be used for. Take the levitation charm for example. The standard movement is a swish and flick which is used for a short gathering of magic before a smooth steady release of it in the manner the words dictated. Correct me if i'm wrong but couldn't you use a different movement such as a stab to change the nature of the spell. In my given example it should in theory cause the target to rapidly shoot upwards but not stay airborne after it's ascension was complete." I said seriously.
He clapped with a pleased smile "Wonderful deduction and understanding! Fifteen points to Ravenclaw! Indeed the wand movements one uses for a spell are more integral to the magics usage than merely another step in it! Changing the movement changes the spells effect as you've theorized." he said happily.
"I had wondered why spells required both verbal and movement components until I read that book. It was enlightening to say the least. Perhaps I may even have taken a solid step towards spell creation by understanding this knowledge." I said quite happy with the confirmation my theory was right.
He chortled but shook his head gently "Not exactly. If you were attempting to standardize a new spell then this would be true but in most cases I am familiar with spell creation begins with the effect and only then on making it replicable for the masses. This is why most who create new spells do so using arithmancy to deduce the effect structure before finding the right verbal and movement based components. That is advanced knowledge however and you aren't yet ready for it." he explained patiently.
"I see. I am glad you explained that before I made a mess by overreaching." I said genuinely grateful.
This sort of professional knowledge is exactly what I needed as neither the books or the movies covered it. If you were to try and figure it out on your own things would likely turn nasty unless you were ridiculously lucky.
"Think nothing of it. As your professor it is my job to educate you in the art of spells after all." he said sincerely.
After that I presented the rest of the mentioned wand movements and what they were meant for along with examples of how they might effect spells. Flitwick was thoroughly pleased and awarded another ten points before leaving me happily humming as he did so. Professor Sprout came next as per the schedule and once again we went through the plants and seeds she brought for identification, growing habits and even when they should be harvested for peak potency. I earned another five points for doing a good job before it was time for me to be dosed again.-
When I woke up again I barely got even a moment to check my surroundings before the world greyed out and the screen popped up and Whitebeard appeared.
"Everything is ready right?" I asked and he nodded.
"Sending over the stuff now." he said seriously as he focused.

'There's that fruit whitebeard said they couldn't identify.' I thought as I accepted the trade.
I took out the fruit in question immediately and appraised it.
{Item name: Hiku Hiku no mi
Class: Treasure
Value: 100,000 system coins
Condition: Perfect
Description: The pull fruit of the One piece world. This fruit turns the one who eats it into a pulling human allowing them to create and control attraction forces. Eating this fruit brings the sea devil sealed within it into ones body and thus renders the eater unable to swim or use their powers when submerged in sea water or when in contact with sea prism stone.}
"This fruit is the Hiku Hiku no mi or pull pull fruit. It lets the person who eats it create and control attractive forces. It has pretty good potential I have to admit." I said as I sent all the fruits back to Whitebeard.
"Gurarara! Not bad at all!" he said with a wide grin as he sets the fruits to the side.
"Thanks for the other stuff by the way. Those will be a solid staple for me to sell in most worlds that still rely on the body. Oh and if you could find me a plant based devil fruit I'd appreciate it. " I said with my own grin.
"A plant based fruit? What do you need that for?" he asked curiously.
"Ah there's a potential deal with someone in this world so long as I can get such a thing. I said I'd ask about it and I do try to keep my word if I can. It's not a rush job this time though so you can take your time." I said with a shrug.
"Alright I'll keep an ear out on anything like that. I'll need another week or so to get the next batch of fruits ready so you rest up till then brat." he said with a grin before hanging up.
The world returned to normal and my next professor showed up, Binns. The ghost was boring to talk to but I managed to get through his questions about the book he chose. After that was Quirelmort who seemed to forget to stutter as he grilled me on the tome he had chosen for me. Judging from the coldness of his eyes and arrogant expression I was pretty sure this was actually just Voldemort possessing the body fully on a temporary basis. It was pretty heavily implied he wasn't just a passenger in the books and movies so this wasn't terribly surprisingly though I perfectly acted as though it was.
