Gatenberg Wescott River.....
The river is shallow under the bridge. Smooth breeze taking away the last of the tiredness. Two figures are seat on the railing of the bridge, legs down.
"So, are you leaving after all these end?"
"...
Right. I forgot that you knew, Jett.
Well, I'm trying to live the present even if it's left for a short time. The rest depends on whether they leave me alone or entrap me forever. I know I...promised them my strength and soul to be strong."
"I know you've suffered enough to be fed up... but don't you think that line is... too much? What if you feel need to escape someday?"
"Hmmm.... in that case, I'll go rogue! And cause a huge ruckus in the continent until a beautiful lady detective with red lipstick stops me. She mussst be my type or I don't stop!"
"Hey--hey! You don't get to say stuff like that in front of your girlfriend. You haven't left yet, which means we haven't broken up yet. You could ask for a tomboy at least so that it could be me!--
...
*slump* Right... about the break up...
Sien... is there, a way to not do that?"
The river breeze soothed environment. The moon is lurking beneath cloud like a lantern of farewell holding it's head too high.
"Fine. If you ever go rogue, I'll be the one to pull the trigger.
But if you ever feel like coming back, I'll wait right here as long as I'm breathing."
It was a promise. And then years had passed.
They were way past the sirens, helicopter sounds, cross fire noises. This spot of the Wescott river was never an escape spot on the map. Rather, abandoned. That same old bridge is in front of them.
"You've come. You know me a little too well, don't you? Sylara Warren."
"It was a promise. You did your thing. Now I'll be the one to put an end to you. Raven 78."
"...
There was another promise you did. Said that you'd wait right here if I ever wanted to come back."
"..." *finger on trigger*
"Anyways. The red lipstick looks good on you.... Jett."
*Sound of Gunshot*
