Observer POV:
Tony was just descending from the sky, as the rest of the Team gathered around the Core.
"Ok, what's the plan?" Tony asked while looking at Vision.
„We need to find the main Ultron in the bunch so I can finally delete him from the web," Vision said as he landed next to him, as Thor's voice could be heard through the intercom.
"I tried leading it away, but it didn't work and is now heading towards the Core."
Pietro looked confused at Tony and asked the question on everyone's mind, "It?"
In the next second, Thor came into view, followed by a Gigantic hand that tried to catch him midair.
„I think we found him," Tony quipped as a gigantic Head came around the corner, and its glowing red eyes focused on its new objective.
„Hello there," a culmination of Ultrons' voices said as the gigantic, house-high swarm of drones, in the form of one mega Ultron, began to pull itself towards them with its four arms.

„We need to stop it from building up momentum, not a single piece of it can reach the core," Rhino said as he began to charge at it.
"You will have to buy me some time," Vision said as he ascended and flew straight at it, vanishing within its chest.
Meanwhile, Thor descended from above and tried to smash his hammer at its head, but he just passed through, the drones rearranging themselves around him.
Instead of hitting a single drone, he straight up plummeted into the ground, and could just turn his head around to witness all four of its gigantic arms and mouth simultaneously open up and fire gigantic red laser beams at him.
"Fuck!" He cursed as he began to twirl his hammer around, holding it above his head like a shield, and taking on the full force of the hit.
"Over here, dipshit," Tony yelled while doing a flyby and dropping a bunch of explosives at the giant creature, while blasting at it. He got what he asked for, as one of its arms turned around and fired a bunch of single shots in the general direction he was heading towards, forcing him to take a turn away from the battlefield.
Just then, Rhino reached the body, stopping his charge, then jumped and roared midair just next to it, which made a part of its body shake and crumble, destabilizing a whole arm and shoulder of the Biest, as the knocked-down drones fell to the ground.
Next was Steve, who was thrown by Pietro. He hit another arm directly, his shield shattering the drones in every direction.
Meanwhile, Pietro had repositioned Wanda and Clint atop a rooftop before dashing off again, searching for a way to get Thor out of his predicament.
Wanda had used the time to charge up a new hex, which she now fired directly at Ultrons head. He was still preoccupied with Thor, and his sensors were just about to warn him when a high-speed projectile hit him in his forehead, before exploding and sending out a shockwave through the surrounding drones, destroying the right half of his face.
Clint had used the opportunity to scout the surroundings and found a bunch of walls in the surrounding buildings, which he took down, before said building began to lean forward and crash into the street, blocking the way towards the core.
Natasha just leaned against the core, watching the fight in the distance. She was perfectly fine with being the last line of defense, before looking down at her batons, letting out a chuckle at the thought of what she was even supposed to do if she was the last one left.
Meanwhile, Hulk had finally reached the battlefield and ran straight through its torso. As he reached the other side of its body, he witnessed the knocked-down Drones wake up again and flood towards the main body, and a big grin formed on its face.
"HULK SMASH!!!" He jelled as he struck the ground, creating a wall of earth they would have to climb over first, before rushing into the group of mindless drones behind it, crushing one after the other.
Thor, now seemingly having enough of being on the defensive, now only being fired upon by two lasers instead of five, used his Hammer's momentum to twirl it upwards and flew straight through one of its Hands, leading to a follow-up explosion, as the reactors in its hand detonated. He then charged up his hammer with lightning before directing it at its core.
As it hit, they suddenly heard a scream from all the drones simultaneously, as Ultron reached for its head in Pain. He then proceeded to reach into his abdomen, pulled out Vision, who now seemed to be knocked out from exhaustion, and began to fire at him with everything he had. Then his menacing voice could be heard all over the place.
„You shut me out of the web, you turn my own flesh against me, but it doesn't matter, in the end, I will win, because I've already won. The world has seen what you are capable of, and from now on, they will fear you. Not only the ones in power, but the smallfolk as well. The innocent."
Wanda and Thor continued firing at will, while the rest of the team cleaned up the drones that were about to return to the body. As Vision finally returned online and fazed through Ultron's hands, Rhino dashed away, and the rest of the Avengers followed suit,
At a safe distance, they all gathered and looked back at Ultron, who now seemed to be back at full strength.
Ultron stopped in his tracks and looked down at them from across the debris, his voice echoing across the place as he gestured with his arms, "This is all I wanted, all of me against all of you."
„Thanks for the free intel, buddy. Ordis, would you be so kind as to shut him up?" Rhino said as he witnessed the charge up time finally reach its end.
„Of course, operator," Ordis said as another EMP pulse came down from orbit. Ultrons' form began to stagger and lose parts, as he began to crawl at them with newfound vigor.
„Plan B… Now!!!" Rhino yelled as he began to sprint towards Ultron. Tony, Thor, and Vision, simultaneously fired their energy beams at him, hitting him directly in the back, but right before impact, Rhino activated his Iron Skin and absorbed the damage.
He then roared mid-flight, making Mega-Ultrons' head snap at attention, firing all its lasers at him. Against all his struggles, Ultron still witnessed Rhino flying directly at him, as he used the opportunity to dash mid-flight and crash straight through the giant's forehead.
Inside, he directed his charge downwards and plummeted further before reaching what seemed to be the core. There he stopped his charge, stomped once, and then released his iron shrapnels. The Iron skin flew in every direction, simultaneously dealing all the accumulated damage to each individual drone in range, making Ultrons form bloat up, and then scatter in every direction.
As the backlash of the explosion settled, one of Ultrons drones got to its feet, right before the rest of the Team. "You know, with the benefit of hindsight…" He tried to say before Hulk interrupted him by knocking him into the sky. As the robots around saw what happened, they immediately began to retreat, Hulk right on their tail.
"They'll try to leave the city." Thor said before heading for the sky. Tony followed in kind and activated his coms, "We can't let 'em, not even one. Rhodey!"
"I'm on it." Captain Rodes answered from his position next to the Hellicarrier, his scanners already picking up the fleeing drones. "Oh, no, I didn't say you could leave. War Machine, comin' at you, right…" he began, while blasting apart his targets, just as Vision flew by and destroyed the rest with ease, before flying off again, "Okay, what?"
Meanwhile, Steve was briefing the non-flyers, just as Rhino and Pietro came to a stop next to them, "We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you."
"What about the core?" Clint asked, rightfully worried.
"I'll protect it. It's my job." Wanda answered, receiving an acknowledging look from the team as they headed out. "Get the people on the boats." Steve ended the briefing before sprinting off.
"I'm not going to leave you here," Pietro stated, carefully scanning the surroundings for threats.
"I can handle this," Wanda answered, before blasting apart an approaching drone in such a brutal manner that Pietro could just look at her in shock.
"Come back for me when everyone else is off, not before." She commanded.
"Hmm?" Pietro said, trapped in thought.
"You understand?" She asked, slightly agitated, casting him out of his stupor.
"You know, I'm twelve minutes older than you." He quipped before dodging one of her hexes, as Wanda chuckled, "Go!"
Rhino was just charging through a line of drones, as Natasha and Clint reached the lifeboats, and jumped out of their Car.
"We don't have a lot of time," Clint said to Rhino, only receiving a nod, before getting ignored again, as he dashed away into another bunch of drones that was just about to take off.
"Get your ass on a boat," Natasha commanded Clint, while walking towards the Hulk she just caught a glimpse of a second ago. "Hey, big guy. Sun's getting real low."
At the same time, Barton got onto one of the lifeboats, but then noticed a woman calling out for someone, "Costel? We were in the market. Costel?!"
But before he could run off to find the boy, Rhino dashed onto the boat, the child already in his arms, while handing him to her sister.
"Thanks, man, you're a real lifesaver, " Clint said, slumping back on one of the seats, his eyes already halfway closed. "Oh, it's been a long day. I will be up in a moment, just two minutes before…" he muttered while falling asleep.
Meanwhile, on the underside of the flying island, Tony was cutting himself an entrance into the engine room before analyzing what he had found. "Thor, I'm gonna need you back in the church." He commanded over the coms, mentally preparing himself for what was about to happen.
Thor was up top, leading a bunch of civilians towards the lifeboats, before walking towards Steve. "Is this the last of them?" He asked, still scouting for further signs of life around the area. "Yeah. Everyone else is on the carrier," he answered while Tony's voice spoke through the coms again, "You know, if this works, we may not walk away." Thor smiled slightly while looking back at the Civilians, "Maybe not."
Just then, a bunch of shots could be heard, followed by an Angry roar from the Hulk, as the Quinjett could suddenly be seen above the rooftops, its Gatling gun already in motion.
"I got no strings, so I have fun. I'm not tied up to anyone." Ultrons singing voice could be heard all over the place before the nerve-wracking sound of the Gatling-gun went off, firing at the lifeboat's engines.
The next moment, Caps shield flew through the air at supersonic speed, cutting off the gun's head and vanishing in the clouds.
Cap looked next to him, where Pietro was holding his hands before his mouth in shock, his shield gone from his arm.
"I swear I didn't know it would go that far," he pleaded, before Cap smiled and patted him on his shoulder. "Good job, kid, I would have never hit that far away."
Rhino was heading back towards the Core when he saw the Quinjett take off. He was just about to call Orbis to track it for him, as Hulk flew directly at it, followed by one of Ultrons drones flying out the back door.
No longer interested in the subject, he cut his connection to Ordis and headed further for the Core, where he found Wanda, surrounded by a mountain of Drones.
"Everyone is off, get ready for extraction," Rhino said, coming to a hold next to her.
"That's good to hear," she answered shortly, still vigilantly watching her surroundings.
The next second, they both turned skywards, as thunder could be heard, before Thor landed right next to them, reaching for his Com, "I'm in position," he said, while Rhino went further away from the core, the Liset already coming into view.
"Extraction imminent, Wanda, let's go," Rhino said, but she didn't hear him. Gazing at her surroundings, a single tear was running down her cheek, as she clenched her fist in rage.
Rhino went to her, took one of her arms over his shoulder, and lifted her in a princess carry, before heading towards the ramp.
As he finally stepped upon it, he looked back one last time, nodding towards Thor, who returned in kind, before heading in.
Inside, he went to the front window where they watched as the City shrank further and further as they sped off, the last lifeboats already heading for the Hellicarrier.
"All my life I tried to protect this place, and now I'm the one leading to its destruction," Wanda said sadly, as Rhino set her down, while she was still unconsciously clinging to him.
"In War, there is none who is without fault, as
Those who 'abjure' violence can do so only because others are committing violence on their behalf." Rhino said, watching as lightning gathered around the city.
Wanda turned silent at his words, lost in thought, and continued to watch as the City she grew up in ascended further and further into the sky.
Just then, as she reminisced in old memories of her parents, and a small smile crept upon her face, the place she called home her whole life, shattered into a billion pieces.
