I went back at my desk and continued writing. Then a green transparent surface in a shape of a box appeared.
[System unlocked] it says.
A system? Out of curiosity, I touched it, then a status window appeared.
It showed my level, health, strength, everything you could see in a status window when playing a game. But something is different, every status it showed three question mark [???] except for the title.
[Title: g#db@T] this one specifically caught my attention. I thought about it deeply when suddenly a notification appeared.
[Choose your incarnation!]
All of a sudden, what once was a endless room, became a newly built world. Tall buildings can be seen, vehicles moving around, people living their lives normally.
"An incarnation?" I asked myself, but the system popped the same notification.
[Choose your incarnation!]
Weirdly, I was able to walk around the unusual place. As I walked around I noticed how different the clothes are. In my time... I stopped for a moment and thinked deeply.
'In my time...' I don't know what was my time about is anymore, I simply can't recall, and so I continued to walk.
I walked around for hours, but it seems like I wasn't able to get tired. Two things I noticed while walking around was that, they can't see me and touch me which goes both ways.
Then I turned around an alley, it was completely different from the place I was at. Pitiful people gathered here. A beggar, homeless person, abandoned children. Strangely, a thought came to me, if I wrote at my paper about changing their fates what would happen? And there it is, the system popped up again,
[Would you like to get your pen and paper? Yes / No]
I was about to make a choice when suddenly a cry of a baby can be heard snapping back my focus at these pitiful humans. I glanced around trying to find the baby who was crying, and there I found it, at the corner.
The baby was laying down at its mother's arm right at the flattened box laid at the ground. It seems like its mother was dead. As I stared at the baby I shifted back my focus on the window and clicked 'Yes'. Then my paper and pen appeared out of thin air floating.
[Writing Automatically....]
Hmm? I was confused how to write it automatically.
[Skill Activated: Magic Quill]
Then the pen proceeded on writing at the paper on its own. I just have to think of the words and it will write.
{'A newly born baby was found crying at the corner of an alley in its dead mother's arm. As it cried louder, it got the attention of a passerby wearing a dress with a fur as its shawl and is covered with expensive accessories. It was a woman with two bodyguards following her around.
Out of curiosity she walked towards the alley and found the baby that was crying. She felt pity for this newly born child so she bent down and carried the baby into her arms. She felt as though it was fate that she was led to the baby on this day and took it back.
"I will take care of you from now on." She said, gentle and sweet as she left carrying the baby and walked away from the alley with her bodyguards.'}

'This should be enough to change this child's fate', I thought while smiling. Then few minutes passed, word by word, it played out exactly right in front of me. The curious woman passed through my body and took the baby in her arms.
After they left, I looked at the paper that was now a scroll. I smiled satisfied. Changing fates, is more satisfying than I thought.
It was the first fate I ever changed.
I bent down and took a glance at the body of the dead mother. "May you rest in peace." As soon as I placed my hand on its head,
[Skill Activated: Eternal Annex] It activated automatic, then the body of the dead woman turned into a beautiful dust slowly. When suddenly an old man in awe suddenly bowed down after seeing the body turned into dust.
The old man took multiple glance at it to make sure it was not an illusion.
[Faith Status Unlocked]
'Skill window' I said in my mind and the window resurfaced with countless skill names.
'Veilbreaker' A skill that breaks the barier between a god and a mortal, I could use this.
[Skill Activated: Veilbreaker]
Before speaking, I contemplated if I should speak normally or not.
"Mortal one" I spoke, my voice echoed in the alley but only can be heard by the old man in front of me.
He looked around to find the voice, his eyes widen in surprise, his expression containing a mix of amusement and desperation as he get down on his knees. While the others who was in the alley must've thought this old man was going crazy from poverty.
"Do you want to change your fate?" I asked the old man. He cannot see my appearance but I was sure my question echoed in his ears. This might be the second fate that I will change.
