The colonel lowered his weapon but remained silent.But more importantly what the fuck was up with Raphael, is he genuinely some fanatic, is he buying time or are we gonna become decorated soldiers and live in a villa with a wife twenty years younger than us and a sizeable pension. Oh yeah and I said 'we' cause there is no way I'll be able to get myself out of this mess that Raphael has gotten us in. For all intents and purposes I am now a honorary soldier of the Kassandrian Empire.
He summoned his soldiers and formed them up for our indoctrination.
The two of you will be assigned the rank of Private First Class and Private,with me being the Private First Class. I guess the Kassandrian empire values combat capability over loyalty to the cause.
After the ceremony one of the soldiers set up the IED and we promptly departed on their vessel. We made the warp to the station that was the choke point.
We geared up in the vessel and were getting ready for attack.
The mission starts as soon as we make ground contact the colonel briefed.
Two days went by without a word being said with occasional prayers and more that occasional stories about the conquest of the empress from some of the soldiers.
I was equipped with my usual preference of a semi-auto rifle and a shotgun. The shuttle then had docking approved and we made our way to the bay.As soon as the airlocks were in place we raised our weapons and were ready to attack. The lieutenant went in first but no shots were fired.Instead we were greeted by the bodies of dead Persus soldiers. Raphael shot two Kassandrian soldiers and I followed suit. Them men in cloaks appeared and shot the lieutenant, the colonel was forced to surrender.
You have now been demoted to private, colonel.
What is the meaning of this! Who are these men and why are Persus forces slaughtered explain yourself!
Watch your tone private, my friend over here is a colonel he pointed at the scar on my cheek, I'm a general and everybody here outranks you. One of the cloaked men shot the colonel(or should I say private) with a stun shot. Tie him up and put him in a cell he is still dangerous.
Timothy! ,Raphael commanded- get a few guys and prepare the turrets, program them shoot anything that enters the station, with the exception of military supplies

But what if the Persus republic fleet attacks with an armada, what would you do to fend off an attack
They won't, this choke point blocks access to 12 systems, it would take months to rebuild another station meaning billions would be left without resources. They have no choice but to yield to our demands
Look out of this window, look at that beautiful destruction ,thousands of ships getting obliterated, tens of thousands of lives gone all because of my design. Millions will starve simply because of the twenty of us, do you not feel powerful?!
I have been tracking those Kassandrian shmucks for two years, the perfect scapegoat.I have now assumed the tital of the colonel meaning the Persus republic now thinks that Kassandrian empire has control of this station, I have sent messages with Kassandrian Sigil to all stations connected to this choke point.I will start a grand war that will lead to chaos that will lead to my ascension.
