The sound of the collision was not as thunderous as onlookers thought it would be; rather, it was strangely muted for what should have occurred. After all, Li Ling took on the eighth bolt entirely head-on, seemingly trying to use some method to defend against it.
So what was the outcome?
The bright light receded, revealing a shocking scene to all as Li Ling was still in the same position with his hand raised, but the eighth bolt of lightning was stuck against a strangely silvery-gray vortex in the center of his upraised palm, forced to spin in the same direction as the vortex.
The eighth bolt had already been broken down by ten percent like this, the remnants scattered carelessly by Li Ling all around the outpost, crashing into various buildings and vaporizing them immediately, causing continuous explosions all over.
