Chapter 5 - chapter5

She hurriedly grabbed the blanket covering her and took a glance.

Oh no—completely naked!

The clothes scattered all over the floor, along with the aching soreness in her body, told her everything.

It was over… this wasn't a dream—it was real.

She scratched her head furiously, utterly disappointed in herself.

Her eyes darted around the spacious room—she was alone. She guessed the man had already left.

Good. That spared her the embarrassment of facing him. Without thinking too much, she just wanted to get out of the room as quickly as possible.

Holding the blanket tightly to her chest with one hand, she reached toward the black strapless top lying near the foot of the bed with the other. It was a bit far, just out of reach.

Since the room was empty, she figured she might as well throw the blanket aside and hurry to pick up her clothes.

She lifted the blanket and strode over, intending to be quick, but just as she bent down to pick them up, a pair of long legs appeared before her.

Looking up, she saw the man from last night.

Her first time… and it had been with him…

Lin Xiaonuan was about to explode in anger, but then she remembered—it seemed she had been the one to take the initiative last night.

And she was an adult now—it wasn't entirely fair to blame him. Her anger eased a little.

But then again, even if she had been the one to start it, it was because she was drunk. Didn't this idiot know how to refuse?

At the thought, she straightened up, pouting and planting her hands on her hips, ready to confront him. But before she could speak, she caught the man's deep, restless gaze fixed on her bare, snow-white chest—and noticed a certain part of him reacting again.

This woman—slim enough to look undernourished, yet with perfect curves where it mattered.

His lips curled in amusement as he teased, "What's wrong? Didn't get enough last night? Want to continue?"

Only then did Lin Xiaonuan realize she was completely naked. In a panic, she snatched up the blanket and clutched it to her chest.

"You… you shameless pervert! Still staring? Stop it, or I'll… I'll hit you!"

She clutched the blanket with one hand and raised the other in a small, clenched fist, shaking it in front of him.

The man easily brushed her fist aside, then lifted her flawless face with a long, slender finger.

Last night, in the dim lighting, during their hours of entanglement, she had spent most of the time with her eyes closed. She'd only caught glimpses of him.

Now, she finally saw him clearly—an incredibly handsome face, as if carved by the gods, tinged with aloofness. His deep, penetrating eyes seemed to see through everything, pulling you in before you even realized it. A high nose bridge, thin curved lips—every sharp angle of his face made one lament the unfairness of fate.

Beneath a white bathrobe, his tanned, sculpted body showed in tantalizing glimpses, like that of a top male model.

Lin Xiaonuan stared openly, and memories of last night's fierce passion flashed in her mind, making her blush to the tips of her ears.

And yet, there was a faint feeling—had she seen him somewhere before?

The man was about to tease her again when his phone rang. He withdrew his hand and turned toward the floor-to-ceiling window.

"Speak." His thin lips moved slightly after answering the call.

Whatever the person on the other end said, he listened in silence, an immense, commanding aura radiating from him.

He spoke simply: "Pick me up in ten minutes."

Ending the call, the man went into the dressing room to change.

Lin Xiaonuan quickly gathered her clothes from the floor and dressed.

Just as she was about to leave, her eyes fell on the white bedsheet—and the vivid red bloom upon it.

She was only twenty-one, a senior in college, and just like that, her first time was gone. The sense of loss and unwillingness washed over her.

It was all that lecherous old man's fault—if he hadn't gone into the wrong room, none of this would have happened.

Her expression dimmed. She'd been dating Lu Yuan for over a year, and they'd only ever held hands—not even a kiss.

Though he had asked many times to take things further, she had always turned him down gently, and he had never pressured her. She had always been moved by that.

She had planned to save her first time for their wedding night—yet last night, she had given herself completely to a stranger… and had been so willing…

Guilt and shame overwhelmed her.

How was she going to explain this to Lu Yuan?
