Chapter 25 - LEVI ORRIN

Levi's fist smashed through a demon's chest, creating a gaping hole in its chest. The demon fell to the floor, lifeless.

"Here I was, thinking I could go all out," Levi scoffed as he stared at the two corpses on the floor.

Unlike Selene, who had destroyed everything during her battle, this place sustained minimal damage. Not because they were weaker, but the battle was too swift.

Levi had killed all of them with little to no resistance.

He walked calmly, scrutinizing the corpses. "Something is not right with these demons," Levi muttered as he gazed at them.

As he checked, his eyes suddenly snapped forward, and sure enough, his senses were right. An arrow was flying, straight for his head.

In a blur, his hand moved. He caught the arrow and snapped it in half, cleanly and easily.

"I seem to have become a target," a smile formed on his lips.

In front of him, six demons stood in formation, a complete squad. An archer, a spearman, a tanker, a swordsman, an assassin, and one whose role was unknown.

Levi stood, his back straightened, as a mask formed on his mouth. His body shifted as nanites stitched together.

His hands got wrapped in gauntlets. Levi positioned himself, his left foot shifting forward as the right steadied his stance.

His hands were raised slightly above his chest as he looked at them. No words or greetings, they charged.

Levi blurred forward in a streak of grey. Four demons charged in to meet him head-on.

Gusts of wind spread as Levi's fist clashed with the tank's shield. Not wasting time, the swordsman had appeared behind him, his sword brought down to strike.

Like he was already expecting the attack, Levi's body shifted, twisting unnaturally. His hand shot forward to counter, but the tank was already there. His fist collided with the shield.

The impact rippled like a quake, shattering the tiles beneath them easily.

Levi jumped back, barely avoiding an arrow aimed at his throat, then again, he bent, swiftly dodging an attack from the assassin.

A fast thrust from the spearman came, piercing him in the side and drawing blood.

Levi's fingers moved to the wound instinctively, but it had closed before he could even touch the blood.

Levi turned to the demon, his eyes cold and aloof. He surged forward in a burst of pure energy that made the other demons freeze.

His hand darted, meeting the demon's head. A pop sound echoed through the air as brain matter splattered across the arena, as blood showered like rain.

Levi did not stop; his attention shifted to the demon that stood, watching the entire show calmly. He lunged, his body crackling as mana poured into it.

Mid-run, Levi spun, narrowly avoiding the assassin's attack. His leg snapped forward in a flash of light, smashing the demon's ribs in an instant.

His gauntlets transformed, forming a short sword. It arced cleanly, cleaving the head of the assassin.

Levi continued, the attack barely making him stop. The Tank appeared before him before he could reach it. The swordsman flanked him on the right, and the archer drew his bow string, ready to fire at any moment.

Levi stopped. A halberd formed in his hand. Wrapping his fingers around it, he glared at the demons with killing intent that made them shiver slightly.

Levi moved, appearing a few meters behind the swordsman. His halberd came down, but the quick-thinking Tank blocked it.

Levi jumped back, avoiding an arrow. 'The Tank is the biggest problem,' he analyzed with a cold, petrifying gaze.

His body spun at an unnatural angle, catching all demons by surprise. Even the lone demon's brows furrowed.

His blade flashed, and head fell. The tank lifted the shield, but it was shocked. Its eyes gazed at the headless body that stood with its shield raised high in defense.

Slowly, the body fell to the ground with a thud.

Everything had happened so fast that the demons could not even process what had happened.

Levi did not waste time. Instantly, around him, several lances formed, suspended in the air as if they were locked in space. Without instructions, they descended into the battlefield, destroying the earth and buildings alike.

A single lance was all it took to kill the swordsman. The archer narrowly avoided a lance with its agility, but as it landed, a second lance fell, pinning its shoulder to the floor with brutal efficiency.

Before it could recover, a lance pierced its skull, drilling a huge hole into it.

Levi scoffed. "They are really nothing without the tank."

Then his gaze shifted to the lone demon who had already gotten into a combat stance. A katana shimmered into its palm. Flames spiralled wildly all around the katana as the demon glared at Levi.

As if acknowledging Levi as a worthy opponent, it nodded subtly and calmly.

A furrow appeared on Levi's face as he discovered something. He could not tell the demon's rank. "It is above the grandmaster tier," he muttered.

'System, what is the demon's rank?' He asked the only source he could confirm from.

[stage 4 paragon tier] The system's cold, apathetic voice came.

Levi sighed at this revelation. "This is going to be very rough," he said.

The difference between tiers from Grandmaster forward was a vast chasm. Not something that could be breached merely by being talented.

But Levi was not scared. He embraced the challenge with joy. His very being screamed with pleasure at the thought of facing someone far stronger than him.

A wide smile formed on Levi's lips beneath the mask.

The demon on the other side was not patient enough to let Levi continue with his thoughts. In a burst of crimson, it appeared before Levi, blade flashing down with elegance.

Levi remained calm despite the attack. In a streak of orange, his form blurred, appearing several meters away from the demon.

"You dont have to be in a hurry," Levi spoke calmly. "Because, you are about to witness the full power of Levi Orrin."
