It began with a mission to nearby galaxies. Hong used his personal wealth—and the Civilization Evolution System's cosmic crystal injection—to purchase indigenous planets. His target: bloodline levels 9 and 10—beings considered "low value" by major empires but filled with hidden potential.
With system aid, he transported hundreds of thousands to colonized worlds protected by Formation Rings and bound by a new universal law.

A hologram broadcast across the universe from Earth's beacon satellites:
"Laziness is not tolerated. Crime against fellow settlers is death. Abuse of power is death. Entry into Earth-protected space with hostile intent is death. These are not threats. These are facts."
To prove his point, a rogue pirate fleet tried to raid one of the new colonies.
Hong activated a Zero-Tolerance Formation.
In under 6 seconds, the fleet was reduced to dust—live broadcast to every channel.
"Power is a responsibility," he said, standing atop a glowing formation circle. "Those who mistake it for permission shall be corrected."
Chapter 33: Phantom Inheritance
As Earth expanded, so did interest from factions across the universe. Mysterious envoys arrived under disguise, attempting to gauge Earth's secrets. One such envoy, posing as a trader, was captured and revealed to be a scout from the Venari Phantom Empire, masters of illusion and spirit warfare.
The system flagged them as a potential long-term threat.
Rather than kill the scout, Luo Feng requested access to the prisoner's mental matrix.
Within his soul domain, he replicated the scout's illusion trials—projected phantoms, maze formations, and mirror clones.
What began as research became inheritance.
"If you wish to use illusions," Luo Feng said to the specter, "then I will become the master of it."
After three days, he emerged having unlocked Phantom Layer Fusion—the ability to hide his blade laws beneath multiple mental projections.
