Chapter 10 - THE CHOICE

For a long second, neither of them moved.

Aurora's body still trembled, pressed to the cold wall, Rafael's release dripping down her thighs. The silence between them was louder than any scream she'd ever heard.

"You owe me the truth," she whispered, her voice hoarse. "You owe me that."

Rafael's back was to her now. He was tugging on a pair of black trousers, jaw set, shoulders tight.

"I owe you safety. Shelter. Pleasure." He didn't look at her. "Not explanations."

Her stomach twisted.

"Then let me go."

That got his attention. Slowly, he turned, his eyes dragging over her still-naked form like a slow cut.

"You want to leave?"

She raised her chin, even as her knees threatened to give out. "I want to see my father."

He walked toward her—slow, dangerous. She braced herself, expecting the heat, the fury, the possessive grip.

But instead… he stopped just in front of her. Bare chest rising and falling.

"I'll give you one chance," he said quietly. "Leave now… and you'll get your answers. You'll see him. But if you walk out that door…" His eyes darkened. "You don't come back. Not to me. Not to this."

She stared at him, pulse pounding in her ears. "You're giving me an ultimatum?"

"I'm giving you a choice," he said, voice low. "Him or me."

Her body ached. Her heart was in shreds. But the worst part?

She didn't know the answer.

"Rafael…"

He stepped closer again. "Or stay," he murmured, fingers brushing her inner thigh where his cum still marked her. "And forget everything but this."

He dropped to his knees in front of her.

She gasped as his mouth pressed to her thigh—soft, reverent, dangerous. His tongue trailed upward, licking away the mess he'd left inside her.

Her hand slammed into the wall behind her for balance. "Rafael…"

"I can taste your confusion," he growled between her legs. "It's sweet."

His tongue flicked her clit—sharp, fast. She moaned, hips bucking into his mouth. Her anger blurred under the burn of his touch, the way he licked and sucked like she was the only thing that could quench his thirst.

She came undone on his tongue—clutching his hair, shuddering.

When she opened her eyes, he stood again, dragging his thumb across her bottom lip.

"This is your last night with me if you choose him."

Aurora swallowed hard. Her entire body felt like it was made of glass and fire.

And then, he said the thing that truly shattered her:

"He's been asking about you. He remembers everything."

Her heart dropped. "He does?"

Rafael nodded once. "I kept him hidden because I knew once you saw him… you'd never be mine again."

That confession burned more than his touch ever could.

"I need time," she whispered.

"You don't have time," he said coldly. "Tomorrow. You choose."

He turned, leaving her naked and breathless in the center of the room, the door closing behind him with finality.
