Chapter 342 - Chapter 342

With Creed's help, Bulma moved the spaceship into a warehouse for repairs. Even though it was extremely old, there weren't many places that needed fixing. The main thing was modifying the rear propulsion system. After all, Mr. Popo couldn't possibly go with them to Namek, so they had to change the receiver to Earth language.

A complex modification like that would take at least a week.

And going to Namek wasn't something they could rush anyway. Creed was right—no one knew how many unknown enemies existed there, and who could say whether the Namekians' Kami would even be willing to help them.

They decided that seven days later, they would regroup on the small island where Master Roshi lived.

During that time, Creed followed Mr. Popo to Kami's Lookout and entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to strengthen himself. Even though Mr. Popo didn't know Creed's origins, he could tell Creed had no ill intent—and Creed was willing to help them—so there was no reason to refuse. Besides, the carefree Son Goku had already treated Creed like one of their own.

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, the space was as vast as Earth itself, but water and food were readily available. There was no need to worry about hunger from not being able to find supplies.

What was different was the environment. The temperature wasn't like Earth's, the air was thin, and whether it was above freezing or below freezing, it was about ten degrees Celsius harsher than Earth. If someone with weak will entered, they could easily start hallucinating.

Because one year inside equaled one day outside, it was a true gold-standard training ground.

Relying on his abnormal talent, Creed quickly broke through his bottleneck. In only four days, he completely stepped into the realm of gods.

Only after the system's prompt did Creed learn that the "god level" he'd reached was merely comparable to a Super Saiyan. Godhood was divided into five levels in total—only by reaching the fifth level would he be at the level of a God of Destruction, able to stand on equal footing with Beerus.

Over these seven days, it wasn't just him training—everyone trained.

Goku stayed in Bulma's gravity room for seven straight days, and even Gohan secretly trained behind Chi-Chi's back. He was still a kid, but he had Saiyan blood. No matter what, he was definitely going to Namek.

On the morning of the seventh day, Bulma flew the spaceship to Master Roshi's island.

Creed was already waiting there. After stepping into the realm of gods, he had left the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. If he wanted to climb to the next level, training alone—without battle—wouldn't cut it. And more importantly, he still didn't have Saiyan blood.

"Creed."

Bulma jumped down from the spaceship. Seeing Creed dressed casually in a shirt and long pants, she raised an eyebrow and said, "Creed, you look pretty good. Aren't you underestimating space a bit? Look at me—I came prepared. I put on a full spacesuit, and I even cut my hair."

Seeing Bulma wrapped in a thick spacesuit, Creed couldn't help laughing. "You don't need to be that nervous. Just treat it like a trip."

Since he said that, Bulma couldn't really argue. She changed the subject. "So why aren't Goku and the others here yet?"

The moment she finished speaking, points of light appeared in the sky not far away. A red aircraft slowly descended and landed beside them.

Goku jumped out scratching his head. When he saw Creed, he frowned slightly, thinking, This guy… it's only been a few days, and he's gotten a lot stronger again.

Right after Goku jumped out, a pile of luggage got tossed out—five or six suitcases worth. It really did look like they were going on vacation.

Chi-Chi walked out too. Gohan didn't come out for a long time.

Under everyone's urging, Gohan finally jumped out with his head lowered. He was wearing a grade school uniform—clothes that weren't suitable for fighting at all, and completely didn't match his Saiyan vibe.

Chi-Chi kept nagging, "Remember to brush your teeth after dinner! No matter what, this is humanity's first contact with aliens. You absolutely can't be rude!"

Creed looked at the mountain of luggage, sighed, and said helplessly, "What did you all even bring?"

Chi-Chi said, "There are clean clothes, and Gohan's textbooks, and these are nutritional supplements…"

"Alright, alright." Creed cut her off. "Let's just hurry up and go."

Master Roshi clasped hands with Goku. "I'm counting on you. You have to find the Dragon Balls!"

With Chi-Chi sniffling and crying, they boarded the spaceship. Bulma was already getting irritated by how overprotective Chi-Chi was of Gohan. As soon as the hatch closed, she immediately started the ship.

Because the takeoff was so sudden, all of Gohan's luggage fell apart. The textbooks scattered across the floor. In the blink of an eye, the spaceship vanished from Chi-Chi's sight, turning into a tiny star on the horizon.

Even with that speed, it would still take several days to reach Namek.

That meant these next days, they would be completely cut off from the world, living entirely inside the ship. Luckily, when Bulma repaired the spaceship, she installed a gravity room inside it, so Goku could go in and train anytime.

Goku, of course, wouldn't miss a chance like that.

He stepped into the gravity room and was about to shut the door when Creed walked in too. Goku didn't mind. This was a perfect opportunity to probe Creed's true strength.

"One hundred times gravity is fine, right, Creed?" Goku said.

Creed smiled. "Whatever you usually do, just set it to that."

Creed didn't plan on going step by step. He directly set the gravity to one hundred times.

In that environment, Goku couldn't move freely, but it wasn't unbearable either. While doing push-ups, he secretly watched Creed—and what he saw shocked him. Creed looked like he didn't feel the gravity at all. The speed of his punches and kicks was actually faster than Goku's usual speed.

Goku gritted his teeth. His competitive nature drove him to crank it up to two hundred times.

That was his limit.

His whole body felt unbelievably heavy. If he didn't use all his strength, he couldn't even stand steady. But Creed was still relaxed, as if one hundred times and two hundred times were exactly the same to him.

And in truth, it really was the same. Whether the dust got swept away one particle at a time or two particles at a time—there was no visible difference to the naked eye.

Goku wasn't crushed by the gap. Instead, it made him even more fired up. Deep down, he swore he would become a powerhouse like Creed.

Creed trained for a while, then felt bored. This level of gravity did nothing for him. With Goku here, he couldn't raise it further—if it were just him, he could set it to one thousand times without caring.

And with his current strength, this kind of training was nothing more than a drop in the bucket.
