He withdrew the Devil Fruit power and then stepped outside—he wanted to test the might of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit out on the open sea.
Ain was at the helm. Seeing him come out, she instantly brightened. She knew that meant his closed-door training had paid off.
Creed gave her a small nod, then walked to the bow of the boat, spreading his arms as he clenched both fists.
Boom.
Two pale halos of light snapped into existence, wrapping around his fists like giant spheres.
Right after that, there was the sound of glass shattering—crack, crack—and countless invisible fissures spread outward from the edges of those pale light spheres, as if the space itself were being shattered by the shock.
"Ah…"
Seeing this familiar sight, Ain couldn't help covering her mouth in speechless shock.
Isn't that Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability? How did her Creed also learn it?!
But then she remembered that Creed already had the Glint-Glint Fruit and the Op-Op Fruit and other abilities, and she quickly calmed back down.
She could sense that those invisible cracks carried countless threads of "qi," and as those threads spread, they wove together into an unimaginably huge three-dimensional "web," spanning dozens of miles and still rapidly extending, reaching up and covering even the very sky. Each of Creed's fists was the core of that web.
As long as Creed moved even a little, the vibrations could race through the web and reach any corner of it.
And the vibrations could stack and accumulate as they traveled.
In other words, once that three-dimensional web was fully constructed, Creed could turn one unit of power into several, even ten or more, just by transmitting it through those vibrations.
"No wonder they say the Tremor-Tremor Fruit can destroy the world…"
Ain's beautiful eyes went wide as she stared at Creed's back, her face full of admiration and love.
Without realizing it, her Creed had already become the sovereign of the seas—one of the strongest in the world.
But in her memories, she still seemed to be frozen at that moment when she fell from Skypiea and Creed caught her in his arms…
Boom, boom.
In the next instant, the tremors became obvious. For over ten miles around the little speedboat, the sea began to heave, waves rolling higher and higher like a coming super–storm.
Boom!
Moments later, the waves rose like walls, surging like enraged monsters. Heaven and earth flipped, a cataclysmic scene that felt like the end of the world itself.
And it wasn't just this ten–mile range—dozens of miles away, even a hundred miles out, all were caught in the crisis of these vibrations.
A force like this could destroy everything. There was no denying it: the Tremor-Tremor Fruit really was one of the most powerful fruits in existence.
Boom, boom!
Creed gave both arms a shake, and the entire sea surface was carved apart. Vast swaths of ocean rose over a hundred meters high, while other parts sank down, the elevations wildly uneven. Within the field of vibrations, everything became chaos.
This whole sea region instantly turned into a deadly, forbidden zone.
"So this is the Tremor-Tremor Fruit…"
After a while, Creed finally dispersed the power and looked down at his hands.
Right now, he had only brought it to the level of an initial awakening. There was still a long road before he reached "fully awakened," let alone "complete awakening."
If he truly reached complete awakening, how terrifying would this power become?
No wonder people said it had the power to destroy the world.
"I finally understand just how terrifying Whitebeard was at his peak…"
Creed sighed softly.
Whitebeard in his prime was definitely not just at SSSS+ level—he had to be above that.
God–tier? Or SSSSS–level?
If so…
Then what about the leader of the Celestial Dragons, the one who stood at the absolute summit of this world—Imu? Would they be that kind of existence as well?
Thinking this far, Creed suddenly felt pressure settle on his heart.
After all, right now he was only at SSSS–level—nowhere near those God–tier monsters.
Still, thanks to the sheer number of SSSS–level abilities he possessed, his current combat strength already surpassed ordinary SSSS+–level powerhouses.
Even so, there was no doubt that he was still not a match for a true God–tier.
"The Tremor-Tremor Fruit is already this strong even before full awakening… what if it's awakened? System, help me awaken the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit."
Creed spoke silently in his heart and activated that Awakening Card.
Since he had chosen to extract the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, the Fruit Ability Awakening Card obviously had to be used on it.
"Ding. Using Devil Fruit Ability Awakening Card. Target: Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability… Ding. The host's Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability has been elevated to the 'already awakened' level…"
After a short while, the system's notification sounded in his mind, making Creed pleasantly surprised.
The Awakening Card had actually let the fruit's ability leap over the "initial awakening" stage and go straight to "already awakened."
He had originally thought that the Awakening Card could only push a Devil Fruit to an initial awakening, and that full awakening would require at least two more cards…
With a thought, Creed immediately began to practice the Tremor-Tremor Fruit at its newly awakened level.
Boom.
Crack!
He clenched his right fist, pale radiance wrapping around it, then punched straight up into the sky.
Boom!
That mass of shockwave light pierced the heavens, sweeping away all the clouds within a hundred miles overhead. Dull booming sounds kept resonating through the air.
From below, Ain could clearly see countless invisible ripples overlapping in the sky, refracting the bright sunlight into a riot of strange and shifting colors.
With her current comprehensive strength at SSS+–level, she could naturally sense the danger hidden in those layered, transparent ripples.
Boom!
And that was only the beginning. Under those transparent ripples, the sea surface suddenly sank down into a "deep pit" over a hundred miles across.
The fist–light Creed had blasted upward had actually transformed into countless layers of falling vibrations that covered the whole stretch of sky and sea.
This net–like method of attack was clearly a full step above the previous "spiderweb" approach in terms of coverage. It could be used to lock onto enemies with extremely high speed, carving out a domain that belonged solely to him.
Rumble… rumble…
The deep pit kept sinking deeper. The seawater that was forced out by that immense power surged outwards like apocalyptic waves, forming a rare, massive tsunami.
Yet this was only the aftershock of the tremors in the sky—just the residual power could create such terrifying might. Ain could only stare, her little mouth hanging open, completely lost for words.
"Heh."
Creed's fist flattened into a palm as he slowly lifted his hand upward.
As his hand rose, Ain suddenly realized that the small speedboat beneath her feet was being lifted as well—carried upward by the waves.
No, that wasn't it.
At some unknown point, the surrounding sea surface had turned into a jagged landscape of peaks and valleys—tilted, twisted, rising and falling.
It was like a range of mountains made of water. The sea had become a place of utter chaos.
Boom!
All of a sudden, a tremor came from deep beneath the seafloor, and a gigantic pillar of dark–red fire shot out of the ocean, bringing scorching heat with it.
A thick reek of sulfur spread outward with the falling magma.
It was a volcanic eruption.
Even the seabed itself seemed to have been affected by Creed's power, triggering the eruption of some undersea volcano.
"As expected of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit…"
Only then did Creed finally rein in the ability and stop stirring everything within this hundred–plus–mile range.
The Tremor-Tremor Fruit didn't just cause seaquakes—it could easily create earthquakes as well.
Taken to the extreme, it could even shatter space itself.
Of course, that ultimate "space–breaking" power was something Creed had only glimpsed the threshold of. He had not mastered it yet.
But a Whitebeard who had fully awakened the Tremor-Tremor Fruit should have possessed that ability. No wonder, even half–dead from illness, he could still maintain a comprehensive strength at SSSS+–level.
If he could shatter space, then no matter how strong Kaido's defenses were, in front of him they would be meaningless.
