The Mortal Realm (The Foundation)
1st level:Qi Condensation - The initial stage where a cultivator learns to sense, absorb, and refine the ambient spiritual energy, or Qi. Their body is still frail, and their abilities are limited to simple martial arts and minor spiritual techniques.,
2nd Level: Foundation Establishment -The cultivator purifies their body, strengthens their meridians, and creates a solid foundation for their spiritual energy. They become stronger, faster, and can live for a few centuries. They can use more complex spells.
3rd Level: Core Formation - The cultivator's vast amount of Qi condenses into a crystalline "Golden Core" in their abdomen. This core is a powerful reservoir of spiritual energy. Their lifespan reaches up to a thousand years, and they can fly and unleash powerful attacks.
4th Level: Nascent Soul -The Golden Core shatters, giving birth to a miniature spirit, or Nascent Soul, that is an exact replica of the cultivator. This soul can leave the body, and even if the physical body is destroyed, the cultivator can survive and eventually find a new one. Their lifespan is now several thousand years.
5th Level: Spirit Severing: - In the final mortal stage. The cultivator must sever all remaining ties to the mortal world, be it to family, love, or possessions, to prepare for their ascension. This is a mental and spiritual trial that few can pass.
