Volume 0: Shattered Sky - Death and Beginning

As soon as finishing talking, he holds his spear and starts stepping toward that key – Nihility.

"Where are you going?* – A familiar voice has stopped Loreng suddenly.

Loreng (shocked): "Impossible!"

He turns back only to realize that the fate hasn't ended yet. Yujin is standing still behind him, that sword still burns that blazing fire – the fighting spirit of the great one.

Loreng (excited): "I can't predict this situation, honestly."

Yujin: "Me neither. But this is too ideal for our fate."

Loreng (smiling): "I hate to accept it but you're right. It's too ideal for killing each other."

The true battle begins from now on.

Yujin: "Burning it all to the ground, even if it costs the dawn."

Loreng: "Walking through what couldn't mend, I'll bring it all to the end."

This is the last declarations of them for this cruel destiny. For the next scene, take it clearly.

This time Yujin starts the the battle first. He does it with a lunge forward, straight to Loreng's heart.

He counters it by stepping aside and landing a vertical slash.

However Yujin just needs to changes his previous action to a fast parry, then he turns his body around while moving toward the right side of his opponent.

As realizing it's too ideal for an arc slash directly to his open right ribs, Loreng instantly ripostes by turning his body around while moving backward. He aimed perfectly to parry Yujin's slash, then taking advantage of it to recall Aurelia for the next strike.

Phoenix: Fire of Ashes. Loreng dashes forward in order to land another vertical slash straight on Yujin's head. Aurelia burns itself as a meteor, crushing everything in its way.

It's powerful however it's nothing but a vertical slash. The vertical slash is the easiest strike to dodge in sword art just because of leaving two sides of the swordman open.

However Yujin won't fall for that. He knows it too thoroughly, if he chose to do a sidestep to any of those two open sides, he'd be cut to the half immediately after that.

Vertical slash is simple but it can turn to any kind of slash basing on it. Looking like that however Yujin still wants to live for a little bit longer.

Better luck next time, Loreng tries to land a lunge forward, straight to Yujin's right hand. He wants to limit every options Yujin has, and the best of them is categorizing one of his hands.

Life isn't that easy. Yujin instantly parries it with his special technique – Ghost Parry – he successfully blocks it just in time. To be honest, Loreng is being stronger and stronger ridiculously.

And that action is what Loreng was waiting for, a horizontal slash is instantly unleashed directly to Yujin's chest, he wants to divide this opponent to two pieces.

That was close, however Yujin was still able to parry it with another performance of that ghost parry.

Non-stop at that, stopping means losing, Loreng lands another slash after rotating himself – a sweep slash.

Nevertheless, Yujin keeps parrying it with another ghost parry, this is the third time already, how impossible it is in Loreng's vision. He knows that Yujin can't abuse it due to the action he did.

At the first time, Yujin didn't execute him instantly after successfully discard all his possibilities of counterwork. There's only an answer for it, Yujin needs to pay a price for using that overpower counterattack.

So the question is:

Loreng: "How much you paid for them?"

Yujin (bleeding): "Not too much."

Seems like he lied for it, Loreng can see the instability in his eyes. Which means that Loreng only needs to force Yujin to abuse it some more times, the destruction would come to him soon.

Yujin conceives that better than ever, and he knows what he need to do.

Yujin: "I can't believe that there's one day I have to accept that ridiculous invitation."

Loreng: "What are you talking ab…"

Loreng suddenly got shocked, he couldn't adapt to that pressure for a second. He saw his opponent instantly unleashes a deadly aura – as he's not him anymore.

???: (You take this support without any thanks, how bad and greedy you are.)

Yujin: (I don't give a sh*t about it. Say less and do what you need to do.)

??? (excited): (You should allow me to do this earlier.)

Loreng doesn't know what Yujin did to reach that far, but there's one thing that he discerns – he must stop that monster.

Loreng: "You monster!"

Yujin (???): "Monster?"

Ghost Parry activating! That one who used to be called Yujin instantly abused that technique again without noticing about its cost.

That actually is a strong strike blowing to Loreng's awareness, now he judges that Yujin no longer need to consider about that price. The last chain has been crushed to dust.

Taking that advantage, Yujin lands another slash directly to Loreng's neck, he aims for a decisive blow.

*Clash* – Somehow Loreng can parry it in time, however the price for that action is losing Aurelia forever.

He can only open those eyes widely just for witnessing the cruel reality. Wars cause losses, he used to accept that truth for a long time ago.

At realm of the outer dimension Althysk, there's a pure soul strolling on everywhere.

That's the most precious memory of Loreng.

Until one day, the apocalypse devastated them all. A lively world collapsed into something even worse than death – the endless hell of agony.

That's the reason for the appearance of a hero – Loreng, King of Hopes and Light.

In the story carved on the ruins remaining in that broken world, they praise a hero holding the sword of glory to lead them all surpass that era of martyrdom. Only that hero and his sword of glory, his spear of honor and his shield of pride, he faced every calamity without fear and hesitation.

But, is it the truth?

Loreng: "Pankli…"

The memories flood back as tidal, it brutal drowns him in those treasures – the memories he cossets in his heart are accidentally killing him for each second passing.

Loreng (heartbroken): "I brought you death."

Yujin (???): "Then take this life."

Those eyes both turn to crimson, they burn the fire of honor. The white flame of honor…

Loreng: "Honor…"

Loreng: "Rage."

It collapses to another flame, it reflects the color of rage, the crimson rage of agony.

Loreng: "Allow me to grant you one final farewell."

As the Grand Monarch, he can't afford himself to show the weakness. But what else can he do now? He lost that sword, his precious warrior – Pankli.

Loreng: "Cremation: Dirge of Firebird."

Those blazing fires, the crimson flame – flame of infinite rage; the ashen flame – flame of memories; the one reflects suicide – the charcoal flame. All his emotions are collapsed to each other, they devasting, absorbing and killing Loreng in agony. He can't die right now, but he doesn't want to live, this is what he can do to keep himself in this pain. He can't forgive, he won't forgive to Yujin and himself.

Those fires burn to the sky, they transform to birds – the blazing birds.

Yujin conceives this calamity, he instantly dashes backward and holds tightly the sword. Ghost Parry is able to activate anytime.

*Crackle* – Yujin immediately counter those fires with ghost parry, however it makes no sense. The blazing birds negate all his efforts, they're inevitable as the sound of death.

Loreng (anguished): "I'm sorry, Pankli. Please don't forgive this sinner."

Then his eyes flare up an unstoppable determination, Loreng really wants to die right now. However he can't let himself fade in regret.

Loreng: "Take my soul."

Loreng: "Echoes of the endless Hell."

Yujin instantly encroaches his domain into this reality. *Crash* – Domain clash is activating, both of them perceive that the winner is the one and only one who can dominate this battlefield via invading everything.

His blood sword is vibrating as suffering an indescribable pressure. On the other side, Loreng is also tolerating the same pressure, it destroys himself as a hammer brutally crushes a stone to dust.

However he doesn't care about it, nothing can stop a monster from revenging.

*Crack* – Yujin's sword has been broken, it doesn't matter, Yujin does not even hesitate a second. He and the monster inside both consolidate the domain, they can't let it collapse.

Amagon: "I'm sorry, my Emperor."

Yujin: "Sorry for what? Stay back and recover yourself, I'll buy you time for that."

Amagon (observing silence): …

Even though the battle is reaching to the peak, Yujin can't even focus on the domain clash for a little bit. He knows what his servant want to do.

Amagon: "I'm sorry. Forget me then."

Yujin: "Is it supposed to reach that far?"

Amagon (regretting): "I'm sorry. I should have faded from this world back then."

He knows that he is the reason for the last chain binding Yujin. And now, he is going to destroy it, he will break it by this hands and soul.

Amagon: "Thanks for remembering me, my Emperor."

Yujin (???): …

*Crack* – Domain clash is over, Loreng has won. He swings his spear and throws it to his fateful enemy – Yujin.

Now the sword is broken, Yujin remains nothing without that blood blade.

Amagon (echoing): "Please forget me."

Yujin (???): …

*Crack* – This time the broken thing is the spear, Yujin instantly splits Loreng to two pieces, four pieces, eight pieces,… 1073 scraps of meat.

And that's when Loreng realizes how the true Yujin looks like. A representation of the inevitable death.

Yujin does need Amagon to be the God Slayer, however, when that last seal is gone, Yujin is no longer the God Slayer, he's no longer his own self. The reason for Yujin to remain a human is those chains. And now they are all gone.

Yujin was always afraid of losing himself, he didn't have that brave to leave everything back and step forward. He didn't have a reason to waive everything in the past. But now he does.

Yujin: "If everything must come to the end, permit me to raise that light again."

Yujin is going through every memories he cossets, he wants to carve them into his soul but not his mind. Even though preparing everything, he sill can't be heartless enough to erase them all. But he must do it.

??? (excited): "This is fun. Are you going to break that limit?"

Yujin: "Get lost. For the next scene, I don't want to stay with you."

Yujin chose to throw everything away, he didn't want to be affected by those emotions, even his inside monster.

Yujin: "I sacrifice everything for the great calamity."

Following Yujin's vow, the entire Nihility was shaken. They surrounds him as darkness devours the scapegoat. This is the last trump card Yujin has, neck or nothing.

On the other side, Loreng is reaching his limit slowly and slowly, he discerns that he won't be able to win whenever Yujin still exists. For the next part, he needs to do a one-shot one-kill strike.

He raises his right hand up to the sky above, Loreng unleashes that flame of rage, however it reflects the nigritude, containing the death. This is the last bet.

Loreng blinks toward Yujin and unleashes his flame, it's going to be an explosion.

Yujin instantly counters it by splitting that bomb to isolation, he uses his fingers as a blade, drawing up the sparkling picture.

Each line is a slice, they bind and interweave to each other as a net.

Loreng is immediately aware of how serious it is.

However, what can he do right now? Nothing but witness that calamity befalls on himself impotently.

The next servant is called Envylin – the fondest underling of Loreng – precursor of Olyne.

"Hi Loreng, be my companion!"

"Envylin, be respectful."

"Huh! Not your business, Maxtha."

Once again, that king has to witness his servant evaporates by his eyes.

Loreng (anguished): "Didn't you promise by your whole being Envylin? How could you leave me behind and fade away, Envylin?"

Yujin doesn't have that mercy, he pokes his arm through Loreng's chest, leaving him with a big empty in both his body and soul.

"Please, my Sovereign."

"Please let me sacrifice for you to my last blood."

*Crack* – Balaphratap arbitrarily sacrificed itself to protect its emperor from death. The worst taboo in royal law is disobeying the king or acting without any permission from the emperor.

However with the incivility of a servant, it couldn't afford itself to stand still.

"You acted by your own again, Alice."

"But I couldn't let it happen my Sovereign."

???: "Loreng, what are you waiting for?"

Loreng: "Who are you?"

Lancelot: "I'm you."

The memories flood back as the tidal wave, when the two egos intersect is the time for the true king rises up from ashes.

Loreng and Lancelot both are a being, however at the first apocalypse, Lancelot had to witness his first companion – Maxtha – falling down for his fault. He no longer could save that hope, he lost it.

At the second apocalypse, he had another companion – Envylin. They surpassed it, nevertheless, Envylin is the afterborn one – creatures of the new age after the previous apocalypse. She wasn't immortal, she died in peace and felicity of old age.

That was the first time Lancelot had to wonder about future: what would he have after each apocalypse? A new home. A new companion. Another time to witness they leave him back. Isn't it too ill-gotten?

All that must unfold, shall unfold. The second apocalypse devasted everything to the isolation. Lancelot only witnessed it with a cold heart, he lost that fire.

The third apocalypse sent him to hopelessness, nothing changed.

The fourth apocalypse tried to erase him out of this reality. He realized it nothing was allowed to exist after a chain of three calamities, this is the rule.

For those gods above, for those indifferent gods, for those damned gods. Lancelot grabbed his sword and soul, heart and mind, he chased the sky and even the dawn. He would shatter them all.

Fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth,…, he surpassed the endless calamities while accumulating that fire of rage. He left behind everything to chase forward, only a man and a sword, he broke this bound and even the dawn – where the God of Flames observed him thoroughly.

There wasn't the natural 31st apocalypse, because the reason for it was the rage of Lancelot. He burnt everything to the ground, absorbing the light and dark by his madness, he wanted to break this rule, this loop and this reality.

"Stand proud. You're strong enough to stay at our level."

Without any hesitation he eliminated that arrogant god. Taboo! The 32nd started with the wrath of the gods. The concept of time meant nothing, all Lancelot witnessed was chasing and killing, this is the causality.

Obviously he could eliminate ten more entities, however a spirit never could win against gods. They tore him down, piece by piece, they cut off his wings, they took everything he had. This is the wrath.

Nevertheless, he saw a familiar silhouette – Maxtha. He realized that each apocalypse was the begin of the next balance of the world, nothing was forever even this reality. Reincarnation was necessary for all. That was the truth that gods wanted to tell him.

They knew it thoroughly, witnessing all collapsed wasn't easy, but they must surpassed it, so did he.

Who even cared for it? Lancelot wasn't that guy after all, he didn't want to let his companions die. He eliminated all the gods existing on the world, however he couldn't revive anyone.

That's when he realized that he's nothing but a monster, he caused the calamity, he caused the destruction, then he couldn't do anything else. This wasn't what he meant to do, he didn't want it.

This was what they predicted. Suddenly two hands showed in front of his eyes.

One from the God of Creation – the creator of this world. Or known by another appellation: The Almighty.

One from the God of Destruction – who causes the death to everything – known as the shadow of The Almighty.

Lancelot knew that if he had chose to be The Almighty, he couldn't have stopped the destruction. So he chose to be the shadow of that Almighty, he only needed to erase all the authority of destruction, then he would be able to meet them again.

"Nonsense."

That's how he got back Maxtha, Envylin, Alice and other companion, the beginning of another Lancelot in the new forever age – Loreng. However they aren't able to exist forever and that's the reason for Loreng to reach this far.

Loreng: "So I'm just a comedy? All my live…"

Lancelot: "No you aren't. You are me, and I'm you. We are the king of hope, don't you forget it?"

Hope is what created this world.

Lancelot: "So would you take my hand and face that calamity again?"

Hope is what Loreng has been missing for a long time in his heart.

Loreng: "If this is fate, I'll burn it without any hesitation."

Hope is what they want to send through the death, through the isolation and even through those forsaken eras.

Lancelot (Loreng): "If this is fate, we'll crush it all to dust."

Loreng (Lancelot): "Of course."

Yujin discerns this up-coming cataclysm, however he doesn't interrupt that process. He knows that if he wants to end this fate, he needs to destroy Loreng absolutely.

Lancelot: "You have bound yourself to much Loreng."

Loreng: "What do you mean?"

Lancelot: "Even though they both sacrificed for us. We need to hold them tightly and fight for them. Erase your rage, try to remember it. What did you see in their eyes?"

Loreng smiles, this is weird but making a dialogue with himself is terribly good.

Loreng: "Hope and belief."

Lancelot: "For what?"

Loreng: "For keep fighting."

Lancelot: "Who they sent them to?"

Loreng observes silence, that quite surprises Lancelot.

Loreng (determining): "Us."

Lancelot (smiling): "I see."

Lancelot (Loreng): "It's only you and me!"

They both synchronized to each other, and now, they are both a king, an emperor and a hero – the one who led Althysk through the endless apocalypse.

Lancelot: "Maxtha, you are my muse of beauty and loyalty. Please lend me your power."

As he wishes, an afterimage immediately appears behind him, she is Maxtha but in a gorgeous dress.

Lancelot: "You are still beautiful as ever, Maxtha."

Maxtha (blissful): "It's my honor, my Sovereign."

Waltz: The Melody of You and Me.

Lancelot holds her hands tightly and starts dancing to the viennese waltz, they seem synchronize to each other, they both perform it as the dance of two lovebirds. They turn and turn around, follow their own melodious rhythm.

*Boom* – They suddenly immerse in a fire, the fire reflecting their emotions.

*Hiss* – He brushes it off with a spear, but this time it's no longer called Axthone, it's the spear of honor – Maxtha.

He swings it differently while comparing to Loreng, it contains the rough and tough features in Loreng's fighting art, however it's smooth and fluent due to Lancelot's technique. This combination is terribly weird, nevertheless, it's a threat according to Yujin.

He instantly dashes forward, he sees it, the only weakness of spear. Yujin grabs Maxtha, he holds it tightly then pushing backward himself, opening a chance for an ideal decisive blow.

Lancelot: "Shooting that arrow, chasing to our dreams."

Maxtha: "Even if it's dim, then send them to tomorrow."

Lancelot responds that action by countering it with his left arm. This time, it's no longer aiming to Yujin's blow.

If we aim for dodging a blow, we just need to step aside. If the goal is countering, we only need to parry the blow first, then driving another strike toward the opponent.

So if we're too greedy, what would we do? The answer is moving forward, landing a strike directly to the enemy, speed is the key.

One Step: Counterkill. Lancelot steps forward, he immediately pulls back the spear in order to force Yujin move toward him. And for the last step, he lands a strike within using his all body as the advantage directly to Yujin's face without any hesitation.

Nice try, but no reward for it. Even though taking that strike head-on, Yujin instantly responds via a kick after spinning himself in the air.

Lancelot (surprised): "What is that technique?"

Yujin: "Jujitsu."

He didn't stop at that, following that kick was an invisible slice aiming straight to Lancelot.

Lancelot: "You are my muse of erudition and glory, Pankli. Would you lend me that honor to dance with you?"

Pankli (smiling): "Of course my Sovereign. It's my honor to stay with you."

Dance: Our Dawn Waltz. They holds their hands, slightly swaying it and starting dancing in that rhythm. It's still that viennese waltz but no longer intent, it's supple and gentle as the morning sunshine.

Their steps spin like the rising sun, weaving knowledge and honor into every motion – there's a vow sealed not in word, but in dance, in the rhythm and in their synchronization.

Yujin: "You are carrying too much."

Lancelot: "But I'm happy with it. You have something to care about, don't you?"

Yujin: "I burnt them all. Show me, if you can win with those chains on your heart."

Lancelot (smiling): "They're not even chains, they are my treasures."

Yujin replied nothing, he had no time to waste. He stabs his hand through the chest, then cruelly taking out his bloody heart. He crushes it without any hesitation as a price for this ritual.

Yujin: "Bring it all on. Take everything you want."

Lancelot (being afraid): "Wo…wow? Are you that serious?"

Nihility is the unknown realm, it contains nothing but mystery.

The only thing remaining in your mind whenever beholding that realm is a decisive question.

"How much can you sacrifice for your wish?"

For Yujin, he chose to sacrifice everything, even his soul and his whole being.

On the contrary, Lancelot chose to hold everything into his beating heart. He'll carry it to the end, even if he lose.

Lancelot: "What will you remain after all?"

Yujin: "Nothing."

Lancelot: "And you choose to keep it happen."

Yujin: "Of course, I might have nothing at the end. However if I stopped right here, I would evaporate in regret."

The last song: Road to the end.

Yujin (whispering): "Burning it all to the ground, even if it costs the dawn."

As he wishes, Nihility bestowed him an evolution.

Everything ended up with a birth of the monster. Yujin was no longer here, all remains an inevitable calamity.

It's an abnormality with a half dragon form, left arm is a blade – a deadly blade. Right hand fingers have mutated to claws, they're both massive as if their purpose were destined for destroying.

On its back, it had grown a couple of wings and sharp limbs as bones sharpened to spears.

This is what Yujin has always been trying to postpone, however he was a human, he had his limit.

Lancelot: "I bet I have to be serious from now on." Lancelot: "Alright, music up!"

He takes out all his relics, they both are his muses – his companions of those forsaken eras.

Lancelot: "Are you all ready? There's no way back then."

Maxtha: "I'm always yours."

Envylin: "Being your servant is my honor, how can I hesitate for it?"

Pankli: "Waaa, so sweet. Can it be cheesier?"

Lancelot: "So you don't want to hug me anymore? So cruel."

Pankli (embarrassed): "Who did tell you that!?"

"So you just called me here to execute that monster?" – Suddenly a bored voice interrupted that atmosphere.

She is Anvy – the librarian of the starry sky athenaeum, Monalite. The laziest of the royal muses.

Maxtha: "Are you sleeping?"

Anvy: "The answer is obvious."

Maxtha: "You're still lazy as ever, librarian."

Anvy: "Not your business, doll."

Lancelot: "Alright, my muses, would you lend me your power?"

He asks with his sincerity, however this time they don't accept that.

Anvy: "We're not that weak to depend on you."

Maxtha: "Let us dance on these legs."

Envylin: "We want to stay with you till the end."

Lancelot (laughing): "You're spoiled. But this time, I'll let you dance on your own."

The evolution is completed, Yujin – now the monster – dashes forward, closing its blade to Lancelot's neck, it's aiming for a one kill strike.

Starry Eyes: The blessing of North Star. Anvy instantly casts a spell, it forms a shiny shield of starlight and perfectly parries that up-coming blade.

Don't stop at that, she swings the staff and releases an endless wave of flames.

Following it is a tidal of lightning spear made by Lancelot.

It does stop that monster for a second, however it's still enough for Maxtha stabs a spear through its heart.

Whenever it tries to land a hit on one of them, other will cover and counter it by their special techniques. That's unfair but battlefield has no mercy, this is the rule.

Envylin is different from all, she has nothing but a special ability. It's called Lock, this authority allows her to lock herself and one target, the effective time is depended on how difference in strength and level between Envylin and that object.

Anvy: "So how long can you buy me time?"

Envylin (bitterly smiling): "Guess what, two point fifty seven seconds totally."

Lancelot: "Then let me do the rest, five seconds right?"

Anvy: "That's the best."

Lancelot: "Alright, bow!"

Out of nowhere, Lancelot took out a sapphire bow and a blazing arrow. He knows that he doesn't need to pull that bowstring anymore, however he needs to need to accumulate the energy in that arrow to make it stronger.

100 weak shots are worse than just a decisive one, so he chooses to do the old action what he used to do in old days.

Lancelot: "For the next shot, you better catch it."

It is fast enough to parry the shot and even counterkill Lancelot in a second, however Lock is doing well.

Two point fifty sever seconds are enough for him to charge the arrow, actually a second is enough but this is advantage, there's no reason for him to waste it.

Every tick pass away is every time that monster steps closer to the death.

Two point fifty seven seconds have passed.

Lancelot: "Bon Voyage!"

Lancelot instantly unleashes that aura, releasing that charged arrow directly to its heart, he perceives that he can't knock out this monster in this shot, so trying to damage on its weakness is the best choice.

The good news is he successfully stabs the arrow through that beating heart.

However the bad news is that monster actually sets it as a trap, it doesn't need a heart to live.

Even though they're both different in cultivation path, nevertheless, they still chose to evolve themselves by focusing on body and spiritual power. Changing all body structure is an insane work, it's not the same as creating new lower level creatures.

Restructuring body is at the new level, it does mean that monster need to be a god.

Lancelot has nothing to discuss about Gods in human vision, but God in his vision is actually an entity that he can't look down up on.

Lancelot: "Is Nihility that overpower?"

No reply, the monster only glances him as glancing an ant, at that time, Lancelot realizes that he stands no chance beneath that authority.

Lancelot: "I remember that I'm not playing soul game, right?"

*Boom* – With just a punch, it knocked him far away back. Even though Pankli has parried it for him, they all couldn't stand strong beneath that power.

Lancelot: (What the * is this force?)

Anvy instantly realizes that her emperor needs help, she casts another spell. On the other side, Envylin locks that monster without any hesitation.

Envylin (shocked): "Over a second, it's being stronger unusually!"

Anvy: "Say that again, the *!?"

Lancelot successfully escapes, however he can't find out any way to eliminate this monster.

Suddenly it breaks that boundary, it's been only under a second.

Envylin: "Can it even be stronger!?"

Lancelot: "Perhaps it can, my muse."

He slightly waits for the next action of that monster, he has an idea, however the risk makes it isn't that attractive.

Lancelot: (Show me, if I'm right.)

Suddenly it disappears, Lancelot immediately unleashes his domain.

Let's take a look on how Zone and Domain work.

Zone is the area fulfilling by the user's energy, it allows the user to increase the senses. In short, Zone is the technique for the user to locate everything stepping into it.

Domain is the higher level of Zone, it is divided to two categories: the unique domain and the inheritable one.

However both of them all allow the users to coercively materialize their own world outside to this reality. Actually overwriting the reality by their own realities.

On the other word, while Lancelot is still in his domain, he's invincible.

However this is the gamble he tried to avoid, he knows that he has nothing to guarantee.

*Crack* – As the worst result he predicted, his domain got broken by the Authority of Nihility. Seems like it doesn't allow anything to overwrite the reality.

Golden chance! It instantly cuts down his right hand, then swinging its fist and drive a strike directly to his face. The explosion is inevitable, however Maxtha does her job very well.

She blocked that strike and she lost her hands by the aftershock.

Maxtha: "What are you waiting for?"

Lancelot: "Nothing."

He grabs the arrow charged before, directly stabbing it to its eye. Nevertheless, there's no struggle for that, it only glances on him calmly as a predator.

"You've failed again."

Lancelot: "Sh*t, how can I win against the perfection?"

"I'm not a perfection creature. But I know how to beat the perfect being."

Lancelot: "Tell me! Give me the answer!"

"Isn't it obvious? If it's the perfection, then countering it with your imperfection."

If this monster is perfection, Lancelot only needs to deceive it and restrain the perfect actions. Perfection is unique.

He baits it with a strike, predictably the monster tries to cut at his neck. Instantly, Lancelot changes the posture for an uppercut straight to its chin.

Even though Yujin had changed the structure of his body, he couldn't remove the brain from it.

The spiritual Yujin needs to control the body via brain and neuron. However the monster has shown that it always works as a machine, a true perfection. There's no reason for him to keep remain that organ, except if he wants to get back the sanity.

Lancelot: "What are you aiming for, rival?"

As realizing he can't end it with just a superficial plan, Lancelot requires all his muses to stay back, even though they all ignore that. He needs to face this monster by himself.

Envylin: "I can do three more times, my Sovereign."

Lancelot: "Stay back Envylin, you're all reaching the limit. Just put your hopes on this shoulders and watch me clearly."

Anvy: "Ambitious."

He stops maintaining Althysk and recalls his true power. That's right, he has been fighting while keeping Althysk – the realm beyond Chaos.

Lancelot (Loreng): "I killed them all to accumulate this power. Can you win against these Grand Monarchs' Authorities?"

He changes himself to the Ulratk form – Three heads, six arms, this is his true form after all.

Lancelot: "Hell in the Depth: Echoes of Souls."

The monster instantly unleashes its aura to clash that domain, they both approach each other step by step. It's time to end this forever.

Lancelot starts it first, he stepped ahead and lands a strike directly to the monster.

As usual, it parries that weak attack and counters him with a slash.

Of course he won't let it happen, Lancelot uses his two left hands to catch and parry the up-coming blade. There's no hesitation, he instantly lands another strike by his right arm while grabbing its claws.

That's the advantage of six arms creature. Then he keeps abusing it to overwhelm the monster normally.

This battle weirdly turned to a familiar scene can be seen in any myth – where a human uses his blessed power to defeat a cruel monster, fighting for truth and beauty.

However, who will be defeated in this battlefield? Let's see then.

Lancelot steps ahead, then driving a strike toward the monster.

*Snap* – Instantly responding with a deadly counterkill, Lancelot immediately wipes that punch aside, opening a chance to land another uppercut.

*Snap* – It gets parried again, however Lancelot instantly counter it with a fast strike on his left fist. Four other arms are working hard to prevent every effort of that monster.

To be honest, that's a nice news, nevertheless, monster is monster. It suddenly open its mouth, Lancelot incidentally falls into that endless void.

*Bap – Sound of a clap has awakened him, it's Loreng.

Lancelot: "As predicted, schizophrenia is the best."

Loreng: "You maniac, focus."

He instantly hits that chin with a palm strike, coercively interrupts the process while it's going to release a beam.

On the contrary of what he did predict, there's no explosion inside that throat.

*Smack* – It tricked him with a small technique, pretending to release a bomb, then waiting him to fall in that trap. The final step was rotating that energy beam to its fist via that ridiculous body structure.

That terribly hurt his right arms. They are both broken and splitted to pieces.

Loreng: (Left!)

Instantly countering by sacrificing all his arms, that's not a good news. However he could keep the distance and safely withdraw.

Lancelot: (Calm down, calm down,…)

Lancelot: "Alight, let see."

Zone allows him to scan every details surrounding Lancelot. Even though the aura from that monster is interfering its ability, however if he can evolve it again, nothing can stop him.

*Crunch* – After recovering, he lost his left arms again while trying to block another punch.

It doesn't give him a chance to breath for a little bit, a slash splits him to pieces.

Loreng: (Not this time Lancelot.)

Lancelot: (I can't bring hope with this power.)

Another slash has landed on him, fortunately this time he only loses his legs.

Loreng: (Can you do that?) Lancelot: (Let's see, if I can't surpass it, I can't do anything else.)

*Snap* – The monster was suddenly knocked back for no reason.

It immediately returned after bouncing for a beat.

Lancelot: "So obvious."

*Snap* – Somehow Lancelot can counter it again. It's fast enough to deceive that monster's senses, it can't even catch a movement of that counter skill.

Loreng: (Hey… is it too ridiculous?)

Lancelot: (Ye, I can't believe that he could do it before.)

Ghost Parry – Lancelot has copied it from Yujin, surprisingly he is only able to use it until reaching to another higher level.

Lancelot: "How strong were you, rival?"

*Ring* – That blade is swinged again without any mercy.

*Snap* – He instantly parries it again. Taking advantage of that action, Lancelot steps forward to land two strikes, one for its chin, one for its left ribs.

Non-stop, he grabs its head tightly, then pulling down for a knee strike.

As usual, Lancelot still can control the battlefield, however he can't find out how strong the monster is. In the other word, there're too many variables.

He steps back instantly and enters his zone for the next Ghost Parry, he conceives what he needs to do.

Ghost Parry – Lancelot did it again, however this time he can't perceive the golden chance usually seen after activating the counter.

Loreng: (What's that?) Lancelot: (I don't know, seems like it did something weird.)

The monster rushes forward again with it claws.

As usual, another Ghost Parry is activated.

Lancelot: (No sound.)

Loreng: (Move! It's coming!)

That knocked him out of the dizziness, Lancelot instantly leaped to the left.

*Crack* – However he did it too late, it cost him a left leg for that mistake.

Advantage! The monster instantly launches another explosive strike.

Ghost Parry! Even though Lancelot successfully activated it, he was cut by half instantly.

Loreng: (Damn it! This sh*t is too ridiculous!)

Lancelot: (I have an idea, let's bet one for time.)

Loreng: (Gambling addiction maniac.)

Lancelot: (Shut the * up, just believe at me ok?)

Loreng: (Average gambler.)

Lancelot rushes forward, for this time, he is the attacker.

Will that monster be the defender? Of course not, it also rushes forward as a predator, no fear, no hesitation, no mercy.

Lancelot: (1)

It raises that blade up, it's sharp as Balmung – the divine sword gifted to Siegfried, known by splitting Fafnir the Greedy Dragon.

Lancelot: (2)

Ghost Parry! He somersaults over its head after pulling out the arrow stabbed in its heart.

Lancelot: (3)

At that time, an echo keeps repeating inside his mind, it's not Loreng's, it comes from nowhere as a reminder of the forsaken memory.

"Zone, arrow, cancel." The unknown voice keeps echoing in his mind.

He instantly steps out of its range. As realizing his purpose, it rushes toward him with an inferno flame.

Envylin: "Too late."

Lock! She only can keep it for zero point five second, however it's still enough for Lancelot.

He breaks that arrow after entering his zone, a precious memory flood back.

He sees it even moved in that process.

Loreng: (Adaptation!)

Lancelot: (Oh god, unpredictable monster.)

Then he suddenly destroy all his zone, he can't let Nihility see this memory.

For the explanation, Ghost Parry is the complicated technique.

In short, Lancelot needs to bait the monster to enter his zone, then instantly building up the walls for fulfilling the requirement of Domain Expansion Technique.

As I said before, Domain Expansion Technique is sending everything in range to the user's dimension not coercively materializing the domain into reality. It doesn't relate to Nihility's Volition.

That's why Lancelot called it a gamble while rushing toward the monster, he was ready for sacrificing everything for his goal.

Let's continue on how Ghost Parry works. Lancelot after trapping the monster to his domain, he can overwrite the reality by his own one, because of this is his domain, he's allowed to be a god.

That's how he could stun the monster and parry everything. The process had to be under a second due to the Nihility's Volition.

It wouldn't let him to do everything easily. It could access to every creatures' memories to cancel every reality emending.

"…cancel." – Following the last echo, Lancelot instantly destroyed his zone and domain in order to devastate the witness about his work before.

On the other hand, Nihility's Volition can access to Lancelot's domain to meet the conditions of activating Reality Rewind. However he did destroy all of them, no witness, no reason for it to do that.

Nevertheless, he is no longer able to activate the Ghost Parry Technique. Even though it's been useless up to the present, but he still feels sorry for sacrificing it.

Lancelot: "Ah, the price. My treasure."

Loreng: (You stole it from Yujin actually.)

Lancelot: (Shut up! It's my technique.)

Loreng: (Shameless.)

Lancelot has another idea.

Loreng: (Don't tell me…)

Lancelot: (One more gamble.)

Loreng: (Haiz, I hate you.)

He steps forward, slowly and slowly, then accelerating his speed to the peak.

*Bang* – He leaps forward as an unstoppable bullet, so does it.

The blade has been risen up, Lancelot immediately leaps to its left side – where the claws is approaching his ribs.

Jujitsu: Flow Reversal. Instantly turning to the left, he uses his right shoulder to take that strike, following the inertia then releasing a counter kick directly to its face.

However that's too cumbrous, the monster instantly turned itself around during he's in his process to land a strike.

The blade on its right arm extends to the elbow and even a little bit further. And that extra part of the blade is what stabbing through Lancelot's heart.

With that massive body, it even could calculate to that far for this counter and it's actually even perfect.

Lancelot: "That's wild."

Loreng has turned to his spiritual form with all their power on his hand.

Lancelot: "You're the perfect. But that perfection killed you!"

Loreng and Lancelot are both the same, however they have some difference. The clearest part is their unique technique.

One Strike: For all of you! He releases all their energy as the final beam directly to the monster.

Loreng: "Thanks for falling into it."

*Slice* – An invisible slash sent Loreng back to Lancelot, fortunately he did leave a piece of his soul in that body for one-time reviving.

Loreng: "What's that, *!?"

Lancelot: "Forget to remind you."

Loreng: "You *!"

Yujin rushes toward them for another slash.

Lancelot surprisingly can see how fast and how far that slash is.

Lancelot: (Can you see that Loreng?)

Loreng (confused): (What do you mean? See what?)

He instantly realizes that Loreng didn't share a same vision with him. It's mean that he's the only one here can stop Yujin.

Lancelot: (Hey Loreng, take care of our muses.)

Loreng: (Hah? What…)

Lancelot erases his second personality in his mind, the battle now is actually 1v1.

Lancelot: "Alright, fair enough."

Yujin: "Why are you still smiling?"

Lancelot: "Fun, joy. Do you know the fighting spirit?"

Yujin: "So weird, I want to laugh like that too."

Lancelot: "Eh?"

Yujin ports forward, mercilessly tearing Lancelot to two pieces.

Both of them need vitality to recover and energy for maintaining their souls.

Lancelot: "Let's see who is more stubborn."

He covers his six hands with energy as gauntlets protecting them from those deadly slashes.

Lancelot: "Hey Yujin."

Yujin: "…?"

Lancelot: "What an impolite guy. Do you want to join this gamble?"

Yujin: "About what? For what?"

Lancelot: "Let's see who can stand at the end and be able to hold the wish."

Yujin: "Boring."

He raises up his hand slowly, on the contrary, Lancelot instantly dashes aside.

Yujin move his hand to the right side, Lancelot immediately leaps to the opposite direction.

Nice try, however he had to leave a leg back after that.

The Night Sky: Starfall – Lancelot unleashes his aura, it's being massive unusually.

That strike did knock Yujin back for two steps, taking that advantage, Lancelot keeps driving other strikes on the opponent.

Lancelot drives a right hook directly to Yujin's face with his right fist.

Jujitsu – He use his left shoulder to take that force and follow the inertia for a counter kick straight to Lancelot's head on his right side.

*Snap* – Obviously Yujin got parried, however the final strike is the invisible slash after that.

Of course Lancelot can parry it easily, but for some reasons that Yujin has grabbed his arm tightly. That pressure almost crushed it to dust.

Lancelot: "What is this power?"

He immediately cut down that arm, he perceive the up-coming cataclysm.

Yujin tries to grab another one and he devastates it to nothingness.

Lancelot: (Even this power?)

The Night Sky: Moonlit Clouds – He rushes forward.

Yujin: (Boring.)

He block that strike with just a hand then destroying it again.

However the true strike is the after left hook straight to his ribs. Lancelot tried to land a decisive strike, nevertheless, his hands had gotten devastated before it became true.

Lancelot (mourning): "Ah~ so close!"

In general, Lancelot is remaining two right arms and a left one, he's in the worst condition.

On the other side, Yujin still stands strong, he's the winner after all.

Yujin: "Let's end it fast."

The Night Sky: The Starry Light – He said nothing but leaps forward, a direct strike stabbing through Yujin's chest, then everything collapsed.

This counterkill has ended everything, Lancelot wins against this fate.

Loreng: "Sh*t, can't even imagine how you won that."

Lancelot: "Who knows? Maxtha, give me your hand, I'm dying right now."

Maxtha (pleasure): "It's my honor, my Sovereign."

In the isolation, Amagon is silently watching them all. He can't accept the truth that his emperor has been defeated, he can't accept it.

Amagon: "Em… emperor…"

Amagon: "Why? Why? It's so close… so close!"

Kang – In: "Seems like in this loop, we failed."

Amagon: "If you all hadn't prevented me! If you all hadn't prevented me, I would lead him to the throne!!!"

Kang – In: "And then? Keep failing in those loops again?"

Amagaon: "F*! F*! F*! What should I do now? Finding another emperor? What is this sh*t comedy? Tell me!"

Authority of Amexk: Reality Rewind.

That rhythm is going to the end, death is the new beginning.

Contract: Recalling – All borrowing from Nihility is depriving to its own place.

Amagon (jubilant): "Emperor!"

Even though losing all the authority and paying what must be paid, Yujin still stands strong, he's unstoppable.

Lancelot: "I though that we've finished all." Yujin: "This is the end." Lancelot: "Again? How many times have I heard that sh*t?"

Yujin unleashes his zone in order to materialize his domain again, so does his opponent.

However Yujin instantly dominated this battlefield, he doesn't even need to draw a slash by his fingers. They are all released by his volition.

Three hundred sixty degrees, no dead angle. His domain even splits everything to nothingness.

Fortunately Lancelot's still alive by covering himself with a dense protection. He keeps stand strong beneath that pressure.

Isn't it too ideal? Yujin releases his final slash, splitting Lancelot to two pieces.

Somehow he has move aside in time to reduce the damage to just a final left arm.

Lancelot rushes forward, of course Yujin pretends to do a slash, it successfully deceives him.

Lancelot instantly dodge it, golden chance! Yujin rapidly does a knee strike directly to his left ribs. Then he drives another strike straight to this fateful enemy's head.

Taking advantage of that inertia for the next kick, however he gets prevented and countered rapidly after showing his back obviously. Their actions are all slowed down.

No more special techniques, no longer using flashy movements, they both fight as barbarians. Blood and fists – the cruel war.

Lancelot releases a strike to Yujin's face. He responds with another strike at the same place.

Lancelot drives an elbow slash toward Yujin, however he gets countered mercilessly.

Each fist landing on themselves is each time blood splatters to everywhere.

The time means nothing to them, they keep fighting each other in an endless war. How brutal it is.

Maxtha (hurt): "Please stop, my Sovereign. You don't need to go that far."

Envylin: "Please comeback to us."

Anvy: "Lancelot!"

He keeps smiling, in his mind, dying isn't bad at all. At least he can die with his desires and efforts.

On the contrary, Yujin still keeps that insensitive face, he glances them all. This is the final war, there's no chance for those inferior insects.

*Smack* – He hit Yujin with his head, he doesn't let anyone look down upon his treasures.

Yujin responds with another strike but he misses it. Lancelot takes advantage of it, he raises his knee up, however he instantly falls down. Their statuses both turned red.

Final chance! Yujin covers his hand with a crimson flame, he rushes forward unstably.

Final strike! Lancelot rushes toward his fateful enemy in the last effort.

Envylin suddenly activates Lock while they are rushing to each other.

Lancelot (shocked): "Envylin!!!"

In the unconsciousness, his hand stabbed through Yujin's ribcage, remaining a big emptiness on his body.

Lancelot: "Envylin! Why?"

Envylin (feeling sinful): "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry…"

He has bet his life on this gamble with the great rival. He can't forgive to Envylin, but he can't hurt her after all.

Caught between conviction and emotions, he is torn in the unending inner turmoil.

Envylin: "I'm sorry…"

Lancelot: "…"

Suddenly rising up from that ashes of fire, a blazing arm grabs his leg tightly. It's Yujin, actually his remain is burning to the isolation.

Lancelot unreasonably smiles, he doesn't aware it totally. The flame of hopes is non-stop dully hurting him in the heart.

Lancelot: "Have you remained something precious in your heart?"

Yujin: "Nothing."

Lancelot: "So I win right?"

Yujin: "Let's see it clearly."

They burn up their flames, being covered by them, Lancelot only smiles, he feels lucky for this sacrifice, for not dying in the worthless way.

And Yujin, he lost that fire, he can't return to his old self anymore. However he's fine with it, he's carried too much, time for resting in peace.

Lancelot: "If you were the winner, wouldn't you find the way back to your own self?"

Yujin: "I always be my own self."

Lancelot (laughing): "You're not good in lying, rival."

Then they both immersed in those flames – ending this cruel war.

Sorry for interrupting your joy, however this is the end of everything. I can't re-enact any further.

Nevertheless, you are different from me – this inferior creature, you have the key leading to the end.

For the last echo, will you witness that odyssey by your own?

The gate is always in your hands.
