Anya kindly offered, "It's okay. You can teach me instead. Let me handle it."
"Doubtful," Master Gen replied skeptically. "You learn it in such short time?"

Surveying the chaos below, she turned to someone beside her and said, "Ao, it's your move now. Find that rat who snuck into our village."
"Don't worry, he can't escape my eyes."
[Ao formed hand seals] and announced, "[Byakugan]."
After scanning the entire village, Ao exclaimed in shock, "Hurry! Go to Elder Master Gen's location—that's definitely where the problem is. There's someone there I cannot see through. Master Gen grimaced, letting out a sigh. He'd been too slow—the inevitable had finally arrived.
Before the Kinto Exchange, Asuma lay dead on the ground while Konoha reinforcements arrived. A continuous line of attacking shinobi engaged in fierce combat against Kakuzu and Hidan. At this moment, neither side gained the upper hand. Kakuzu especially appeared extremely calm, clearly holding back his full strength. Kakuzu exchanged glances with Hidan and made the temporary decision to retreat.
