As soon as we were out of the tent, Jack was breathing heavily. It was clear that he was scared out of his mind! So was I.
"I'm not sure I am cut out for this! I am scared I will get caught and once we do, I am sure they will not let us live"
"You think I do not know that? We are all risking our lives here and at the end of the day, it's for the good of the pack. It's not going to come easy"
I said to him, trying to remind him why we were there in the first place.
We are not here to only carry out the Alpha's personal duties, we're here to save our Pack from being torn into pieces.
Peter separating the men like this was going to tear the pack apart, and it would certainly favour nobody.
The pack was doing just great together as a whole but now that it has been divided into two, it's only a matter of time before one side submits to the other.
And before that happens, it will be a fucking bloody war, one that thousands and thousands will die.
