Larrissa's POV
I knew Darrell was avoiding me. No one could tell me otherwise!
He was great at trying to avoid me and refusing to make any eye contact with me even as he worked right past me in the hallway.
Zed offered me a small smile which I returned with a bow of my head. At least one of them knew I existed!
I paused and glanced over my shoulders but Darrel and Zed walked on, discussing..
It also came to my notice that he did not eat at the same hours that I do anymore and he would often do everything in his library…
"Is anything the matter my lady?" Joanna asked in concern.
"I heard he sleeps in a different room. Is that so?" I asked, still watching him.
"I am not quite sure but I believe the Alpha stays in his library all day, my lady"
Joanna has been very helpful, telling me what he has been up to, but not the details of it, though.
