"I've been looking everywhere for you! Where the hell have you been?" I snapped, at the moment I saw Zed walking through the doors of my library.
This happens to be a very critical time in the Kingdom, and it's not the right time for him to go whenever he pleases without informing me!
Whether he likes to hear it or not, I am responsible for him as long as he is in my pack.
His father is not the kindest when it comes to his son.
If anything were to happen to Zed, I am sure that the Alpha of the full moon pack would end my life without mercy..
"I needed to check something, and it seemed I might have a lead to our prey."

If anything, we are the ones being chased by a Predator in this situation!
I did not see us as the winning side, so his words were somewhat confusing.
