News got to me that Evenly had been found and placed in the dungeon..
I have never been so relieved to hear that name, but at least it was a means to an end..
After telling Zed my plan and having him go away to execute it, I decided to pay her a visit.
It wasn't the best thing for me, but I had to give it a try..
I made my way down to the dungeon and, as always, the place reeks!
I stopped in front of her cell, seeing she was chained down to the ground..
Looking at her now, she looked away more haggard than she was before..
Her face was covered in hideous scars, and she looked like she had wrestled with a beast that wanted to rip her face apart.
Her hair was short and unkempt, her eyes looked very distant, like she had seen too many horrors in a lifetime..
"Peter didn't treat you well, did he?" I asked the moment I got closer to her cell.
Her eyes met mine in silence.
"I must be in heaven! The alpha decided to pay me a visit", she said.
