Larrissa POV
"My lady!" Joanna called as she ran into the room.
I was sitting on the bed staring out the window in silence when she approached. I wasn't sure how I was feeling, but I knew I wasn't in the mood for chit-chat..
"I was so afraid when I heard the Alpha sent you out of the palace! I tried looking for you, but I wasn't sure where you could have gone!"
Joanna stared at me in silence, realizing the sober mood that I was in..
"My lady, what happened? Is everything okay? Is there anything I can do to help?"
I couldn't help but burst into tears, crying and wailing helplessly. My boys were gone and in the hands of Peter! I could not do anything about it!
I have never felt so helpless in my entire life..
Joanna moved towards me, wrapping her hands around me in comfort..
She wouldn't stop asking what was wrong and how she could make it better..
I couldn't find the words to say and all I did was cry and cry some more.
