I have never been so terrified in my entire life! Never have I been so close to losing my life, all in the name of keeping a secret!
As soon as the beta and his men walked away, my children came running towards me, wrapping me in their arms in fear..
Never have I been grateful for being alive, and seeing my family crying in fear made me realize that it was better to be alive than to cover up for someone who wasn't worth it!
Soon, I told the maids to take my children away, so I could finally think about what to do next.
It was time I called a meeting with the ladies in waiting! This has to stop! If the Alpha is going to go after each one of us, threatening to kill us if we do not speak up, then maybe it is high time we did the right thing!
I made my way to my studies. I'm sitting behind my table, writing a letter to each and every member of the ladies in court except for Lady Larrissa and Lady Evenly.
