Chapter 59 - Heavenly Asura Path 59

Chapter 59: I am the God Asura!

The killing intent that filled the throne room was simply obscene. Both Annabeth and her mother, Athena could feel the hairs on their necks stand up, they could see that same killing intent becoming something visible to the naked eye; it was like a scarlet mist accompanied by a whistling wind. The ground began to tremble slightly as the pillars that adorned the room split with cracks that traveled from the ground to the top of the ceiling and small pieces began to separate from the pillars.

"How? How is it possible that I have this power?", Athena thought alarmed looking at Percy. What she could feel was something a power that even her father could not achieve when he was in his divine form. She looked at her daughter immediately, but she was alive. Scared. Terrified, but alive. The power was not killing her like the divine forms of the Olympians.

Suddenly, the two women's eyes widened as they saw Nico move. He was slow, but careful, his jaw set as he exerted strength by summoning his pitch-black sword. Blood from his shoulder wound once again escaped in streams that stained the ground. But, the moment he swung his sword and collided with Percy's body, nothing happened.

The killing intent abruptly stopped as if it hadn't existed in the first place and the red eyes slowly moved towards the sword that collided with his arm. Then, the emotionless gaze landed on Nico's tense face filled with pain, sadness and anger.

"Fool. Mortals can't harm a being from a higher dimension," Percy commented dully and his hand moved at blinding speed to grab Nico's head. The hand without dirt or blood covered Nico's face tightly.

Athena froze, she realized something of what Percy had said. While the demigods' weapons, at least some of them, could harm the gods, but that was only when they weren't in their true forms. Athena realized that Percy's body was on a similar or higher level than Zeus's godly form, something she simply couldn't understand. How did he not generate that much power? How could he hide it so easily? Why hadn't he caused Annabeth or Nico's death? Many questions formed in her mind as she stared in disbelief at Percy.

Annabeth, on the other hand, could barely think. In front of her was the person she wanted to meet, the person she wanted to apologize to. He was different, his appearance, his eyes, his voice; she could barely recognize him from the last time she saw him, but it was him. Percy was back and he was in front of her. However, any words she wanted to say, they were stuck in her throat as she saw Percy grab Nico's head and exert force.

A scream left her mouth as she realized what she wanted to do.

"No!"

But it was too late; Percy's strength spread from his hand as he clenched his fingers. Nico's eyes bulged and bled in two red lines that ran down his cheeks and stained Percy's fingers. The crack of his skull was heard throughout the room and after a second, his head completely exploded. Blood sprayed onto the floor after it flew everywhere and several drops stained Percy's flawless face.

The brain matter became almost nothing as it hit the ground and bones tore through flesh and skin as the two dark eyes exploded into a bloody mist. In the end, with a little more strength from Percy, everything else came to nothing and Nico di Angelo's headless body hit the ground with a thud.

"No..." Annabeth whispered as she barely felt the strength leave her legs. The sound of her knees hitting the ground was barely heard. She could only stare at Nico's incomplete body in horror and sadness. Of all people, Nico had been one of the few who hadn't been to Camp Half-Blood that year, he spent little time there, preferring the underworld and helping his father. He had only found out about Percy after it had all happened, and it was from Hades.

He hadn't known anything, he hadn't blamed Percy, he had defended Percy. Nico was one of the few who had felt truly furious and had said it out loud to his father. He was the one who had come to Camp Half-Blood and roared angrily as he insulted everyone there, even spitting at Annabeth's feet.

But now... he was dead.

"Why?", Annebeth said, almost in a whisper. Her grey eyes looked at Percy, filled with tears.

"Why?! Why did you do that to him?! You knew he wasn't at camp! You knew he didn't know! You knew! Then why did you kill him!", Annabeth screamed at the top of her lungs.

Percy looked at her without showing anything in his expression or his eyes. Of course, as Nico's friend, he knew that he was rarely at camp, preferring to spend his time in the underworld. And when he was at camp, he did it with him, Annabeth or Will Solace.

"Why?", Percy spoke slowly while shaking his hand twice to get rid of the blood on his fingers. "That's actually simple, Annabeth Chase. Nico di Angelo was on his father's side, and Hades was on Zeus' side. No matter who it is, if it's an enemy, there's only one choice for them..."

Percy's blood red eyes narrowed as he paused for a moment on his words. Those eyes now had a murderous glint and he slowly spoke out his mouth: "And that is the complete extinction of their lives."

"You don't have the right to judge him! Not him!" Annabeth shouted angrily. Percy's expression twisted into endless hatred as he unleashed his full power.

BOOOM!!

A thunderous sound was heard as the pillars shattered and the ceiling above them was destroyed with debris flying in front of Percy. Swirling winds whistled like dense currents and killing intent filled the place like a sea of blood. A red armor appeared on Percy's body along with a crown on his head.

The full extent of a five-dimensional being was made evident as the space of four and lower dimensions began to bend and twist around them.

"I am the Asura God!" Percy exclaimed loudly as he floated above the two women.

"I am the one who controls the slaughter! I am the executioner! I am the judge!" Percy's rage boiled to its peak as he looked at Annabeth and Athena.

"I exist between life and death, destruction and creation!"

"I have every right to judge you!!" Percy shouted at the top of his lungs, causing space to completely collapse. The palace crumbled to the ground as every piece of floor, roof, and wall exploded forward. Athena and Annabeth were sucked into space as they spit out blood and felt their organs writhe.

However, when Athena looked up, she realized that they were no longer in the underworld. She was in a comfortable room with many objects from all eras: shields, swords, pillars, musical instruments, phones, televisions; there was everything in the large room. It was like an Otaku's room, but unlike the small collection figures and posters, there were objects from all ages of the earth.

And an old man looked at Athena with a bit of annoyance.

"Little girl, if it wasn't for me, you would be dead. Percy was definitely about to kill you two."

"Lord Chaos...", Athena nodded in thanks as she wiped away his blood. She moved towards Annabeth as she laid her down more carefully and wiped away the blood that was coming out of her mouth and nose.

"Why?"

"You are needed in the hidden problems of this war, child. You cannot die, it is not your time yet."

"Hades, he..."

"It seems he died," Chaos interrupted. "As did Nico di Angelo and Persephone."

"Persephone too?" Athena whispered before closing her eyes in sorrow.

"Why would you help him, Lord Chaos?" Athena asked as she looked up at him. "Why would you help Percy kill the gods? I... I understand what you meant about the expansion of the universe, but is this really necessary?"

"Girl, I am the master of this ten-dimensional multidimensional universe. I know what happened, what is happening, and what will happen in the future," Chaos glared at her and continued, "I know what is necessary and unnecessary in this universe of mine. You, the gods of Olympus, are just one race of many others in this universe. Sadly for you, you were born as gods and will never be able to evolve into something higher, at least not with so many domains that many do not even fully understand."

"You are flawed as gods. In fact, you cannot even keep your power in check because of the imbalance within you due to your multiple domains and authorities. What god would need to hide a divine body in a vessel?"

"Planet Earth, a divine star in all its right is being drained to destruction because of you. Or did you really think Gaea would rise up against you just to have another of her children rule? That woman knew that giants were not fit to rule! She was simply making use of them!"

"She wanted to save the planet, to save herself by being attached to the divine star."

"You are too arrogant, too haughty and condescending. You are a plague to the planet and the universe. Therefore, eliminating that plague is for the best," Chaos had no mercy in his words and told the goddess everything. Athena bit her lips upon hearing everything from Lord Chaos himself.

The lord of the universe looked at Athena before sighing a little.

"I will leave you here for a few minutes, but you will be forced to leave with your daughter."
