The eyes of dozens of children reflected the sparkling lights they had never seen before. Such an unremarkable sight was very impressive to them. The class froze, experiencing a strange admiration.
Clara also looked at the beautiful sight, but she wasn't impressed; it simply seemed beautiful to her. She was more interested in the boy who had caused admiring whispers and glances with a single action. She looked at the boy, who was clearly pleased with the result, and felt a strange excitement. Then, he glanced around the classroom, looking for an empty seat.
The classroom was large, but with just over 20 students, almost everyone sat alone at their desks.
Without hesitating, he walked to the back of the classroom amid strange glances.
Having reached his destination, he was faced with an important choice.
To his left sat a tall, thin guy who was lazily staring at him with half-closed eyes.
To his right sat a beautiful stranger who seemed to be ignoring him completely. However, judging by her slightly strange posture and the way her eyes were constantly glancing at the boy, even though they were carefully hidden in her dark hair, it was obvious that she was not very good at pretending to be an aloof lady.
Faced with this difficult choice, the boy tried to decide which option was better when he heard a whisper behind him:
"Hey, kid..." Elion decided to support his classmate and began whispering, too.
"What is it, girl-classmate?"
"Ahem... You'd better not sit with those two. One of them hardly ever talks, and when he does, it's just a short word... I think he's a mutant. Look how tall he is..."
The boy looked at the tall student and restrained himself again from shouting, "Bean pod!"

He looked at the girl, who was also looking at him nervously, hiding her gaze behind her hair.

"Yeah," The boy replied lazily.
"Bean pod, can I call you Beany?"
"..."
"Bean pod, can I call you..."
"Yeah..."
"Thanks! Beany, will you be my friend?"
Not daring to repeat his past mistakes, the boy muttered,
