Prologue—
Her office attire had already retired on the floor.
This was routine. The same man, The same ritual. He pressed his fingers into her waist and poured all his day's stress into her. Petra bit two of her fingers harshly, going with the pace.
Once, it had been just a night...then it became two and then three and like so, it has now become the hundredth.
His shirt laid on her desk as if it belonged there, yet it shouldn't. She couldn't tell what color his eyes were. How could she when their bodies met more times than their eyes.
She could hear the breeze slightly fetching the curtains towards their playmates. Yet she had to break the silence.
"Hey-"
Her voice came calm, yet subtly cold, breaking the pace of the heated moment. The silence that followed was heavier than the one before, as if an untold vow has just been broken.
At all cost she managed to speak. Yet, only when she parted her lips that she remembered she doesn't know his name. She doesn't know—or maybe she doesn't remember—the name of the man whose body she's been using each night for the last four months.
