Nico is amused by seeing the beautiful town. Iris tells both of them to follow her inside a bar. They enter, and the first thing they smell is alcohol, and everyone inside shows smiling faces when they see Iris. Nico and Midori are confused about what could be the reason for the sudden happiness of the drunk men.
Iris' body begins to glow with aura and so does everybody else's, she explains to Midori and Nico that every time she comes to town she heals every alcohol drinkers' liver and they are always happy for that because they can drink more, "Queen Iris, my Liver thanks you!!!!" one of the Drunk men shouts, Nico finds what Iris does stupid while Midori keeps questioning herself about Iris.
Iris walks up to the bartender to ask him about any information on Kaku island, he tells her that many lives have been lost on the island and the government had to intervene, the people in the war are outputting life energy and are literally just putting bounties on their heads for the government, Iris has a worried expression on her face knowing that if they want to help stop the war, they might be looked at as criminals by the government but she tells herself that everything will be alright.
She takes the kids to an arcade just to pass time before they leave, meanwhile Paulina is enjoying her time with a lot of hosts, Jack is practicing all forms of martial arts with a man named Kony known for his use of all martial arts in a fight without using outputting life energy and Rocky and Percy keep gambling, a new game in the gambling center called Whot is introduced by a man from Gineria and curiosity is about to kill Percy.
"Yo, bro, let's bet, I bet five hundred k, if I win this game give me five hundred if I lose give me I'll give you five hundred, teach me how to play" Percy says this with pride and curiosity to the Ginerian man, the man nods his head and introduces himself as Osas and agrees to the bet but with a little bit of hesitation.
"to play Whot, you need fourteen cards, with the numbers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20, with the shapes, circle, star, square, triangle and cross, now I'll explain the functions of each of the numbers. Numbers 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are regular cards the remaining cards are called action cards and are used to perform powerful tactics in the game, because the way to win the game is the by not having any cards left by the end of the game, 1 is used to tell a player to hold on and then playing a card with number one or with a similar shape of what's on the card, 2 is meant for picking two cards from the other deck, the other deck is referred to as market, 5 is used for picking three from the market and in some areas in Gineria, 5 isn't an action card but we'll be using it as an action card here, 8 is used for suspending a player from playing when it's a 1v1, the player who played suspension has to play a similar card to continue the match but when it's more than two players it's the player that comes after the suspended player that plays a card to continue, 14 is used to send every player except yourself to collect a card from the market and if you want to, you can shout out the phrase "Go gen", and after they all pick a card you play a similar card on top of the deck to continue, the card 20 has whot written upside down and downside up written on it, the card is used to nullify any action except 1, 8 and 14, it's also used to ask for any shape of your choice, let's say you have a 20 and a circle but what's on the deck is a star ,you can place your 20 on top and ask me for a circle, if I'm unable to provide with circle I collect a random card from the market, if you drop your circle and it's an action card, and it's your last card, you can't win with an action card only a regular card, when you drop an action card what ever it says I must do. You can't start a game with an action card, meaning the first card to start the game mustn't be an action card, if the market has finished you knock the card on top of the playing deck and remove it off the deck, place it on the table to start a new one, and the remaining deck should serve as the new market, when you don't have a card that is similar to the one at the top of the playing deck you collect a random card from the market and remember, Whot is a game of chance, as long as you know how to play it, you could win, you could lose are you ready to play??" Osas says this all without a break and Percy nods understanding the concept of the game, Osas also mentions that if he places a card that isn't similar to he card on the playing deck and Percy knocks it before he removes it, then he has to take the entire deck and a new one would be made using the wrong card he played, Percy nods with a smirk on his face, he removes his shirt then ties it over his head as a durag, Rocky stares at him as if looking at an F on a maths exam script, he knows Percy is going to lose.
Rocky shuffles the cards, and other gamblers watch Percy and Osas to see if they'd output their life energy, Osas asks Percy how many cards he wants distributed between them, Percy says six, Osas says six is his favorite number of cards to play with, six cards are distributed to them both, the card to start the game is a 3-star.
Osas looks in frustration as he says that star is the hardest one to get, then he picks from market, Percy plays a 4-star then a 4-circle, Osas plays a 2-circle, Percy picks two cards from the market, Osas plays a 11 circle, 11 square and 11 cross to continue, Percy can tell that Osas has a cross and another shape left that's why he played a cross on top of the playing deck.
He plays an 8 cross on top, and plays a 20 asking for square. Osas plays a 20 asking for circle. Percy knows he's done for, because he doesn't have a circle at all, and Osas' last card is obviously a circle.
Rocky has seen both of their cards but his expression is unreadable, Osas has nothing in his head as he knows anyone could win, Percy picks from the market, and then Osas plays.....
A 14-circle.
Percy is screaming in the inside and so is everybody else watching the match, he goes to pick from the market, then so does Osas, he plays a 5-circle, Osas picks three cards, Percy plays a 7 circle, 7 cross and 7 triangle.
Osas plays a 14 triangle and 14 square, Percy picks two cards from the market, Osas plays 9 square, Percy picks and so does Osas. Percy plays 1 square and 1 circle, then he plays 2 circle.
Osas counters by playing 2 cross, Percy picks four cards and then Osas plays 11 cross and checks up, winning the game.
All the gamblers look disappointed including Rocky, they expected the game to last longer and to surprise them a lot but there was non of that they all walk away and carry on with their games.
Percy shakes Osas and asks for his account details to transfer the 500k, Osas gives it to him, Percy does the transfer and asks Osas for his number, Osas gives him, then Osas leaves the gambling center and Percy can't help but say to himself that Whot is a fun and complex game and he's never betting with Whot ever again.
