The door of the dark mansion opened and Asahel, the half-angel, and Lilith stepped out with alarm.
Asahel's expression hardened into a frown the moment he saw the figure standing in the snow. "You have no business here. Leave immediately."
Lilith's gaze lifted toward the skies, and they looked frantic as her eyes scanned around. She was hoping that none of Aiden's avatars or the Dragon King himself would discover this.
For it could mean their deaths at Aiden's hands by just being near any other living thing aside from themselves.
That was the condition of their exile.
The man laughed in a mocking tone and said. "Is this how much even divine beings cower in fear of the Dragon King?"
Asahel turned toward him with a glare and suddenly six of his wings extended from his back in a powerful display as the air around him grew heavy with pressure.
