Weeks passed since the blue, raccoon-like robot appeared in Nobita's room, turning their world upside down. At first, it had been hard to believe—Doraemon, a robot cat from the 22nd century, sent by Nobita's great-great-grandson to fix his future? It sounded like something straight out of manga.
Now , Nobita' mom belly was swollen like she was pregnant and Nobita was asking her questions but she refused and scolded him.
But with each passing day, the unbelievable slowly became reality.
One by one, Satoshi invited Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo to Nobita's house under various pretenses, easing them into the truth. At first, they thought it was just Satoshi playing a prank. But when Doraemon levitated above the tatami mat and pulled a gadget out of his fourth-dimensional pocket, even Gian had to stop laughing.
"Alright," Gian grumbled now, arms crossed as he stood in the middle of Nobita's room, "enough mystery. You said this was important. So? What is it?"
Suneo nodded, brushing his slicked-back hair. "Yeah, you said we were gonna 'see something amazing.' Well, let's see it already."
Shizuka sat quietly, curious but calm. Nobita stood beside Satoshi, fidgeting nervously. He still wasn't used to being the center of attention unless something had gone terribly wrong.
Satoshi stepped forward, arms behind his back, confidence in his stride. "I've called you all here today because I think it's time we did something… different."
"Different?" Gian raised an eyebrow.
"Yes," Satoshi replied. "All of us have spent so much time stuck in our usual routines. Study, school, boredom. But Doraemon's gadgets aren't just toys—they're gateways to experiences."
Doraemon, who had been munching on dorayaki in the corner, perked up. "Experiences like what?"
"Adventures," Satoshi said, turning to him. "Isn't that what your gadgets are meant for too? Learning through fun?"
Doraemon blinked. "Well… technically, yes. The right gadgets can be used to visit places in history, explore the unknown, even fly!"
"See?" Satoshi turned to the others, eyes gleaming. "That's why I want us to go on our first adventure. All of us—together."
Everyone looked at one another.
"What kind of adventure?" Shizuka asked, leaning forward slightly.
Satoshi grinned. "Let's not spoil it. Doraemon, give us something light. Something exciting, but not dangerous."
Doraemon wiped his paws and rummaged through his pocket. "Alright, alright. Let's see… Oh!" He pulled out five Bamboo-Copters—small, spinning propeller-like gadgets. "The Take-copter! Place it on your head and think about where you want to fly."
Gian snorted. "Hah! You expect me to believe that thing works?"
"Try it," Doraemon said smugly.
Gian skeptically took one and placed it on his head. The moment it attached with a soft click, he floated six inches off the ground, limbs flailing in shock.
"WAAH! I-I'm flying?!"
Suneo's eyes widened. "Me too! Me too!"
Soon, all five of them hovered around the room, bumping into walls and spinning out of control, their laughter echoing out the window. Shizuka flew with grace while Nobita... well, Nobita crashed into a hanging light fixture.
Satoshi maneuvered perfectly, as if he was born to fly. "Come on," he said, gesturing toward the sky. "Let's go somewhere beautiful."
The five soared out the window and into the open sky, the neighborhood shrinking beneath them. The wind tugged at their clothes, their hearts raced with the thrill of weightlessness. It was like stepping into a dream.
"Where to?" Doraemon asked, floating beside them with his own copter.
Satoshi pointed toward the distant hills. "There. That valley near the forest."
They flew for several minutes, watching the city fade into green fields and streams. Finally, they landed in a clearing surrounded by trees, a wide lake glittering in the sun.
The group collapsed onto the grass, panting and laughing.
"I can't believe it…" Suneo said between breaths. "This is insane."
"It's amazing," Shizuka whispered, brushing her hair out of her face. "Like something out of a fantasy book."
Even Gian had no complaints. "Okay… I admit. This is awesome."
Doraemon looked proud. "There's more where that came from."
Satoshi sat up and looked around at them. "This is what I wanted to show you. With Doraemon, we have the chance to change everything. No more dull days, no more complaining."
"No more getting yelled at by mom," Nobita mumbled.
"Exactly," Satoshi laughed. "But only if we take it seriously. These gadgets are powerful. They're not toys—they can teach us, challenge us, help us grow."
Doraemon nodded. "He's right. I've seen people become lazy and reckless with these. But if you all use them wisely, they can shape your future."
Shizuka looked thoughtful. "You sound like a teacher."
"I just don't want to waste this gift," Satoshi replied softly.
For a moment, there was silence—just the wind rustling through the leaves and birds chirping nearby.
Then Gian stood up. "Alright, Satoshi. I'm in. If you're leading this… 'Adventure Club' or whatever… count me."
"Me too!" Suneo chimed in quickly, not wanting to be left behind.
Shizuka smiled. "Let's do it."
Nobita hesitated, then gave a small nod. "Yeah… with you all around, maybe I won't mess things up so badly."
Satoshi stood and clapped his hands. "Then it's settled. We'll meet once a week, and each time, Doraemon will choose a new gadget for us to explore with—under my supervision."
Doraemon gave a thumbs-up. "I like it! I'll start preparing ideas."
As the sun began to dip behind the trees, the five friends flew back, their spirits soaring even higher than the sky they passed through.
Back in his room, as the Bamboo-Copter deactivated and Satoshi placed it on the desk, he looked at Doraemon.
"You didn't just come here to save Nobita," he said quietly. "You came to change all of us."
Doraemon tilted his head. "Maybe. Or maybe you were the change everyone needed."
The room buzzed with quiet excitement, the beginning of a new era.
A world of future tech.
And the courage to dream bigger.
