Chapter 4 - Terms and Conditions

{KOREAN-ENGLISH}

Joon So Min stepped into the towering glass building, her boots echoing against the marble floor. The logo of Lee Group Holdings gleamed in gold above the reception desk. Her heart pounded. This wasn't just a company,it was one of the biggest in Korea.

The receptionist glanced up with a bored expression as So Min approached.

"Good morning," So Min greeted politely.

The woman barely smiled, her eyes flicking over So Min's simple leather jacket and thrifted skirt.

"I'm here to see Mr. Lee," So Min said, pulling out the business card he'd handed her the day before.

The receptionist scoffed. "Everyone wants to see Mr. Lee. Kindly leave now, miss."

So Min's expression faltered. "But... he told me to come. Look,he gave me this."

She held out the sleek card. The woman's eyes narrowed, but when she saw the name Lee Seo Jun and the signature seal, her entire expression changed.

"You... you have his card?" she whispered, her tone now trembling. "Just a moment, please."

The receptionist picked up the phone and made a quick call.

"Yes, sir... A young lady is here to see you. She has your card. Yes. Understood."

She looked up and smiled, actually smiled. "Please, take the elevator to the top floor. Mr. Lee is expecting you."

So Min blinked in surprise. "Oh... thank you."

She walked toward the elevators, still shocked by the sudden shift. Behind her, the receptionist whispered to her colleague, "Who is she? A relative?"

"Or another girlfriend," the other murmured.

"No way—her clothes are last season. She's not rich. Maybe she's just... lucky."

So Min stepped into the elevator.

As the doors opened, her breath caught.

Standing inside was none other than Lee Min Jun

the infamous K-Playboy himself. In the flesh.

Her eyes widened. "You're... Lee Min Jun!"

He chuckled. "Fan?"

She nodded eagerly. "Yes! I love your songs."

He grinned. "Nice to meet a fan who doesn't scream."

So Min flushed slightly, unsure of what to say.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Joon So Min."

"You can call me Min Jun."

She blinked. Did he just flirt with her?

"What's your Instagram handle?" he added.

So Min looked surprised. "Why?"

"Just want to follow my fan," he said casually.

"So_min," she muttered. A moment later, she saw the notification. He followed her.

"Now we're friends," he said with a wink.

She laughed nervously. "Are you headed to the fifth floor too?"

"Yep. Let's go together."

When they arrived at the fifth floor, So Min stepped out.

"Wait," Min Jun said, walking beside her.

"This your stop too?"

"Yup," he replied. "Who are you here to see?"

"Lee Seo Jun."

Min Jun paused mid-step.

"My... brother?" he asked.

So Min nodded. "Yes."

Min Jun looked at her again, curiosity rising. Seo Jun didn't do random women. Or social interaction. What was going on?

"Well, I'm headed there too. Let's go in together."

"Good morning, Mr. No," Min Jun greeted the suited man standing by the large office door.

"Good morning, young master," Mr. No replied with a respectful bow. His eyes landed on So Min. "And the lady?"

"She's with me. She's here to see my brother," Min Jun explained.

Mr. No simply nodded.

Inside the office, Seo Jun was seated behind a desk stacked with documents. He didn't even glance up.

"Big brother!" Min Jun called playfully.

Seo Jun finally looked up.

"Min Jun," he said flatly.

"You evil tycoon," Min Jun teased. "Didn't even bother to say hi. Just buried yourself in work."

He turned to So Min. "See? He's ignoring us already."

So Min chuckled softly, nervous again under Seo Jun's gaze.

Seo Jun finally looked between the two of them. "You two know each other?"

"Just met in the elevator," Min Jun said with a grin.

Seo Jun frowned. Just met, and already Min Jun was joking with her? That wasn't like him.

"What do you want?" Seo Jun asked his brother, clearly dismissing the moment.

"I'll talk to you later. You have a guest," Min Jun said with a shrug. "I'll go bug Mr. No for a while."

He left.

The office fell silent.

"You can sit," Seo Jun said coldly, not looking at her.

So Min sat, trying not to fidget.

"Did you know my brother before?" he asked suddenly.

"No," she replied. "I just recognized him. I'm a fan,everyone knows K-Playboy."

"I see."

He pulled a file from his desk and handed it to her.

"Sign this."

She took it and opened the folder. Her brows furrowed.

"A contract?"

"My lawyer prepared it."

Her eyes scanned the page.

FAKE RELATIONSHIP AGREEMENT.

She stared at him. "What? You want me to be your fake girlfriend?"

"Yes," he said calmly. "For three months. After that, I leave Korea and this arrangement ends."

She kept reading.

"You'll be paid seven million yuan," he added casually.

So Min's jaw dropped.

"I'm not doing this," she said, slamming the file shut. "I'm not going to be your fake anything!"
