It was now morning, and the sunlight filtered into Damian's room, causing him to groan awake. As he tried to stand up, he felt a heavy weight pressing against his chest.
Glancing down, he could see Lizzy's beautiful face resting peacefully on him. With a soft smile, he carefully tucked her hair away from her face, which in turn caused her to stir awake.
"Good morning, love," Max greeted with a wide grin.
"Good morning, Damian," Lizzy replied with a slight yawn as she rose from the bed. She stretched her arms, wincing slightly before limping toward the bathroom.
'I can't even imagine the pain she must be feeling down there. Indeed, women go through a lot,' Max sighed inwardly as he got out of bed. After a few minutes, Lizzy emerged from the bathroom, her hair damp and skin glowing from the steam.
