Chapter 47 - 47

Qinuo pushed open the door again, and the sight before him made him widen his eyes.

It was a spacious kitchen, and Bruce Wayne, dressed in a sharp suit and an apron, was skillfully busy making breakfast at the stove.

"You're here. Want some breakfast?" Bruce said without turning his head, his voice calm and natural.

"Uh, yes, please, thank you."

Qinuo composed himself, walked to the dining table, and sat down, his eyes still fixed on Bruce's busy figure.

Looking at the slight smile still on Bruce's lips, Qinuo felt a moment of trance.

"...Did I transmigrate to another parallel Universe?" Qinuo muttered to himself, his face full of disbelief.

"Clearly not," Venom's voice sounded in his mind.

Qinuo rubbed his eyes, confirming again that everything before him was not an illusion.

He never imagined that Gotham's Dark Knight, the dignified Batman Bruce Wayne, would have such a side.

Bruce quickly served a plate of exquisite Western-style breakfast; the sandwiches were neatly arranged, and the fried egg's yolk had a perfect, inviting color.

Qinuo began to eat, and with one bite, a satisfied expression appeared on his face, and he couldn't help but praise, "Amazing, Bruce, you have such skills."

"I once studied culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu International. Le Cordon Bleu International is a World-renowned culinary school, and you are the third person to taste my cooking."

Bruce said without turning his head, his hands continuously tidying the kitchen.

"Who were the first and second?" Qinuo asked curiously, still chewing his food.

"Alfred and my daughter, Damian," Bruce's voice was steady and calm.

"Oh...daughter!" Qinuo was so surprised he almost choked on his food, his eyes wide, unable to believe his ears.

Just then, Alfred also walked in with Damian. Damian was wearing a casual suit, her small figure exuding a nimble aura, much better than the initial cold feeling.

Seeing Qinuo, she walked directly over and sat beside him.

"You delivered her, didn't you think to check?"

Bruce said, serving a plate of breakfast and gently placing it in front of Damian, also thoughtfully adding a glass of milk.

"How would I check? Strip her naked? Talia, that guy, if she had left her with long hair, I would have paid attention."

Qinuo looked helpless, recalling the scene when Damian, bare-chested, rushed towards him when they first met.

"Who would have thought it was a little girl? The comics didn't write it like this either."

"Mom said long hair is inconvenient for assassination," Damian said expressionlessly, her tender face showing a maturity and coldness unsuited for her age.

Upon hearing this, the adults present all darkened their expressions and simultaneously glanced outside the door.

Qinuo shook his head and continued eating breakfast; it wasn't his child, so gender didn't matter.

"I want to ask you for a favor." Bruce untied his apron and sat opposite Qinuo, his expression serious.

"What is it? Speak!" Qinuo replied casually.

"Become Damian's godfather and take her away."

Qinuo's movements paused, and the entire kitchen instantly fell silent, with only the clear sound of Damian's knife and fork clinking as she ate.

"Too much trouble, I refuse," Qinuo said without hesitation.

"You should look at this first." Bruce took a folder from Alfred's hand and handed it over.

Qinuo opened it and saw a potion formula: Healing Potion.

There were a bunch of professional terms he couldn't understand, but below, there was a thoughtful summary.

Removes the madness effect of the Lazarus Pit; the healing effect is not as powerful as the original, but it can heal most external injuries except for fatal ones.

"This was the content of our previous transaction," Qinuo said.

"Below," Bruce reminded.

Qinuo turned to the next page of the document, and his gaze was instantly drawn to a prominent headline—Wayne Group 20% Equity Transfer Agreement.

Wayne Group, a commercial giant of significant importance in Gotham City and even globally, has extensive and deep business domains.

Wayne Group's influence permeates all aspects of society, and 20% of its equity is undoubtedly a huge fortune.

Qinuo's mouth twitched; it was such a familiar scene.

"Do all you genius rich second-generations like to give away stocks?"

"Iron Man, Tony Stark?"

Bruce raised an eyebrow slightly; he had also read Marvel comics during this time.

"Yes, I have this potion and 20% of Stark Industries, and I've subdued the Assassin Alliance, so I'm not short on money," Qinuo said calmly, crossing his arms.

"It's not about money. Technology weapon production lines, potion laboratories—as long as there are blueprints and formulas, Wayne Group can produce them for you in the shortest time," Bruce said earnestly.

Damian, on the side, quietly ate her breakfast, as if everything around her had nothing to do with her, seemingly not caring at all that she was being peddled like merchandise.

"We agree."

Before Qinuo could speak, Venom emerged, transformed into a human, picked up Damian, rubbed against her, and excitedly said, "Fragrant, soft human cub."

Damian's body stiffened, and she looked at Bruce for help.

Bruce didn't stop her, only observing Venom for a few moments before ignoring her. Butler Alfred's eyes were somewhat complex; his lips moved, but he ultimately said nothing.

Seeing this, Damian lowered her head, her small fists tightly clenched, hiding the disappointment in her eyes.

"Alright, I agree!"

Qinuo said, as Venom rarely showed such strong affection for something.

Bruce nodded upon hearing this, then turned to Butler Alfred and instructed, "Alfred, please take them to pack their luggage."

Butler Alfred responded to the command and then led Venom and Damian out. As their figures gradually disappeared, the room fell into silence.

"You should know that there are many crises in the Marvel World. Why do you want me to take your child to Marvel?"

Qinuo frowned, his gaze fixed on Bruce, full of confusion.

Facing Qinuo's question, Bruce's expression was calm. "But you still chose the Marvel Universe, not the DC Universe.

This indicates that the DC Universe is more dangerous than the Marvel Universe, or that in the Marvel Universe, you can survive any kind of crisis."

Qinuo was silent for a moment. Indeed, whether it was the Hell Bracelet as a refuge or Lucifer in the Marvel Universe as a trump card, he could survive.

"...You're right. In the Marvel Universe, no matter what kind of crisis I encounter, saving the World isn't guaranteed, but I can ensure the survival of those around me."

"That's enough. Let her be a carefree ordinary person."
