Chapter 6
Everyone was like. "What the heck is this chick even saying
Does she oven know who Gavin is? Dude's the top doe for all the big shots"
She thinks she can just hit him up whenever? Yeah, right"
The nurse rolled her eyes, "If you can get Prof. Davis on the line. I'll apologize on my knees.
"Kids these days, like my son saying he's Superman or something."
"Stop wasting time. Get her out off here. Let her cool off at the police station."
Right in front of everyone, Catherine whipped out her phone and dialed a number.
A nearby doctor snickered.
"Just dialing random numbers. If you're gonna fake it, at least save a contact named Gavin
Catherine was like. "Seriously?
He's not that big of a deal, why would I save his number? I remember it cause he calls all the time.
The call got picked up real quick.
Catherine put it on speaker.
This is Catherine. There's an issue with the meds you prescribed," she said.
A strong male voice came through, "Finally joining our lab? Wait, what did you say?
Tim at Bright Heal Hospital in Imperia City. You gave licorice tablets to a patient with hypertensive heart disease. Catherine said.
Gavin facepalmed, "Yeah, I did, but only once. The dosage was super controlled."
"You prescribed it five times. The patient is dead."
Gavin was like. "No way! I have the prescription here. I only signed it once. The patient in bed eight can't handle too much licorice!"
Catherine stayed chill. "So, you messed up."
Gavin quickly said. "Okay, I messed up. If you join our lab
"Your lab's going nowhere. I'm not interested."
Then she asked. "Who are you?
The other end was clearly shocked, "Gavin Davis!
After Gavin said his name, Catherine hung up.
Gavin was left holding his phone, totally stunned. "Wait a sec! How could the meds for bed eight be wrong? And someone died! I gotta get to Bright Heal Hospital im Imperia City ASAP. or there's gonna be big trouble. And maybe. I could meet Catherine!
Back at the hospital, Catherine hung up and raised her chin a bit, looking at the nurse.
"You said you'd apologize on your knees
That was really Prof. Davis's voice! And he kept asking this girl to join his lab! The medical staff were all in shock. He's a big deal in the medical world, admitting he messed up the meds!
If this got out, the whole medical community would freak.
The nurse's face turned red. and she stammered, "Even if Prof. Davis admitted it, we don't know which family you're from, You seem so rudel
Catherine stood still, her cold gaze locking with. Marcus's eyes.
Marcus stood there with an air of authority, making it hard for anyone to look directly at him
The long-standing aura of a superior was evident in Marcus, and even a single glance was imposing
Catherine met his gaze and pointed
His family.
The nurse was speechless.
"This girl claims to be from Manus's family! How ridiculous! I'm sure when I heard her on the phone earlier, the same she mentioned wasn't Windser. How could she be from Marcus's family?
Young girl, you can't just say stuff like that."
Catherine's expression was calm, her face serene like a painting, without a ripple.
She looked directly at Marcus, and Marcus felt a bit dazed!
Just by seeing Catherine for the first time, Marcus knew this girl was definitely his granddaughter. The look in her eyes was exactly like those of the grandsons in the family
Catherine had that look, just like his daughter-in-law, Aurora Maruner, with some familiar leavures in her eyes.
More composed and elegant! The more Marcus looked, the more he liked what he
The medical staff were still freaking out, trying to get Catherine kicked out.
"Mr. Windsor, this girl must be a spy, trying to harm you! There's definitely something fishy. I call security right now.
Marcus raised his hand, and everyone immediately shut up.
Hemotioned m Catherine.
Catherine, I am Marcus, your grandfather."
Catherine walked over, standing nestus Marvus
Grandpa.
Good to have you back
Marcus's gaze swept over the medical staff, and his smile vanished.
"My granddaughter, and you dare to question her? Who said to arrest her? I think you all are the spies!"
The medical small were in shock. This girl is really Marcus's granddaughter! We just insulted the Windsor family right in front of Marcus, saying they have poor upbringing and bullying a member of the Windsor family?
Thinking of this, every nurse's legs went werk!
Mr. Windsor, we didn't mean that."
Marcus waved his hand, "Someone will deal with you for this?"
Everyone knew what that meant.
They all looked dejected, staring at Catherine behind Marcus.
The woman sat on the ground, her old face covered in sears, gratefully looking at Catherine
Catherine looked at her and said calmly, Someone will help you, don't worry."
The werman nodded vigorously, covering her fare and crying. I knew I was right
Marcus turned, handing the prescription to Catherine, "Girl, help me check if there's anything wrong in my prescription."
Catherine didn't miss the nervous expression on a doctor's face when she took the
prescription
The nurse who had argued with her also took a step back, trying not to be noticed.
Catherine raised an eyebrow and said, "Geandpa, a lew people want you dead. You re not very popular."
Marcus was silent. In all these years, no one has ever dared to talk to me like that! If it were those boys in the family. I would have slapped them already! But girls are different. I can't hur girls.
Marcus held back and retorted. "You're not very popular either."
Catherine thought. Besides having heart disease. Marcus might also have some mental issues
Marcus's room was a private one, with top-notch facilities, medications thoroughly verted, and the highest level of medical wam
This team was also responsible for the health of many important figures in Stellara.
If Marcus's team had problems, other areas would need to be scrutinized as well.
Marcus deliberately asked, "Girl, how do you think we should handle this?"
Catherine raised her chin slightly and said calmly. "Didn't they say it? They're all spies, arrest them."
Everyone was so scared that their legs were shaking.
Marcus nodded, his gaze cold.
"Alright, do as you say."
A group of medical staff was taken away for investigation, and the woman who had
caused the commotion saw hope, obediently following the police.
Catherine's phone lit up with an encrypted number flashing.
"I need to take a call."
Marcus knew young people had their secrets and didn't hold her back.
"Go ahead."
Catherine nodded, walking to the hospital corridor to answer the call.
Her phone had been modified by her, so she didn't worry about being monitored.
The call from Tranquilwave Ocean Island was exceptionally clear.
"Boss, someone has posted a new task on the dark web. They're offering a hundred million dollars for you to kill someone!"
No wonder her subordinates were excited about this price.
Catherine's voice was calm, her eyes downcast. "Who do they want me to kill?
"Admiral of Stellara. Marcus Windsor. Currently at Bright Heal Hospital in Imperia City."
