World 27 – Ikki Tousen

On a Hill in Japan

Dawn

1POV

Ikki Tousen ("A Mighty Knight Who Matches a Thousand Knights") was not an anime I was interested in. Loosely based on the classic 14th century Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the series revolves around an all-out turf war in the Kantō region of Japan where fighters known as Tōshi ("fighting soldier") from seven schools battle for supremacy.

The Ikki Tousen that I read was crossovers, such as the works of Pyeknu and Vimesenthusiast, but I was never interested in anything based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Since I don't have any emotional connection to this place, I don't hold back.

The Fragment of the Red Sky was found by Moutoku Sousou of Kyosho Academy, successor of Cao Cao, and possessing one the Dragons of Haou. This is extremely bad and by the time on arrived on this world, Japan was in the process of being destroyed by the Dragon of Haou like how Dragons destroyed Chinese cities in my home of Earth-DR.

The last of the heroes were on the verge of death, when I pounded Sousou into the ground and tore the Fragment from his chest. What was Interesting is when I consumed the Fragment, all the mystical objects associated with the Tōshi also broke. The Magatama - jewels worn as earrings by all fighters which contain the spirits and essence of warriors from the era of the Three Kingdoms – shattered with enough force that some were left with bloody ears. The jade Imperial Seal – Gyokuji and the legendary swords of Jade - Hyakuhekitō - exploded into lifeless fragments.

As for the Dragons of Haou, they were composed of Dragon Qi and negative energies born of hatred, fear, sorrow, and resentment. To me and my powers born of Qliphoth – The Tree of Death, evil Dragons make good fertilizer. I drained the three dragons from their hosts and then left before former Tōshi could understand what happened to them.

World 28 - W.I.T.C.H.

Royal Castle

Meridian, Metamoor

2010 (on Earth of this Universe)

Dawn

3POV

In Ancient China, the nymph Xin Jing used her magic and spirit to free four dragons imprisoned by the Jade Emperor. They had been unjustly imprisoned for saving people from a great drought without permission. The dragons spiritually became one with her and all that remained of her physical form was an orb-shaped crystal pendant. This pendant would one day gain the name the Heart of Kandrakar.

The Heart of Kandrakar granted immense power to the Guardians. The Guardians are five warriors chosen to protect the universe by Kandrakar, the very center of the universe itself. Each Guardian rules over one the basic natural elements of water, fire, earth, air and quintessence

Nerissa was the previous keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar. She consumed by the immense power the Heart gave her and eventually began to descend into evil. The Oracle sensed this and decided that she was no longer fit to keep the Heart. When he entrusted it to Cassidy, it drove Nerissa over the edge. Mad with jealousy, she turned on her fellow Guardians and killed Cassidy. She was imprisoned for the murder in a sealed coffin but escaped due to the foolish actions of another.

Currently, Narissa sits on a throne holding her new amulet, containing a dark red crystal that fell from the sky and called to her with promises of power. When she obtained the [Fragment of the Red Sky] she obtained power beyond her comprehension. She was no longer limited to the magic of her own universe and its limitations, instead she called upon powers beyond the veil of universe and tore down the limits of her own universe.

On smaller thrones are her husband Julian and her son Caleb, their minds manipulated by magic to be as she wants them to be – obedient and loyal to her. They will do anything she asks without question, even have Caleb strike Cornelia, the guardian whose heart he is bound to.

Nerissa looks down at her own transformation. She is now young and beautiful with silver eyes, pale skin, and long flowing black hair reaching her ankles. She wears a flowing dress of black-and-purple similar to the clothing she wore as a Guardian, but her body is curvier, and the wings on her back are not little fairy wings, but the wings of a dragon.

Nerissa looks down at Queen Elyon - the Light of Meridian – now nothing more than a barely dressed slave, chained to her throne like a pet. The dark magic of the Fragment has extinguished the girl's willpower leaving behind an empty toy.

Nerissa gazes upon the former Guardians - Wilhelmina "Will" Vandom, Irma Lair, Taranee Cook, Cornelia Hale, Hay Lin – also known as W.I.T.C.H. They once commanded the elements of Quintessance, Water, Fire. Earth, and Wind, respectively. Now, the Heart of Kalndrakar has been shattered by Nerissa and the Guardians have been forcibly fused with the Aurameres (sources of elemental powers) into magical beings. There naked adult forms are bound to crosses around her throne room. Nerissa wants them to watch helplessly as she conquers everything, then turns them into jewels to grant her even greater power.

Nerissa smirks evilly at the former Guardians of Kalndrakar. They fought hard with strength and bravery, but they never learned the concept of acceptable losses. She took a single village hostage and threatened to kill every man, woman, and child. The Guardians came running/flying into a trap. First, they were hurt by the trap, then broken by their inability to save people, and finally she defeated them when she unleashed the true power of the Red Fragment. Watching them watch her attack Earth and stripping them of their humanity was better than sex with her husband or anyone for that matter.

Suddenly, there is a loud alarm, and a black knight enters the throne room.

"What is the problem, Knight-Commander?"

"Your Majesty, there is a monster tearing through our forces."

"A monster? What kind of monster?"

"It's a humanoid over seven feet with skin the color of ash and numerous spikes. It appears to be dressed in black leather."

Nerissa conjures a sphere to display an image of the monster, and she is surprised at how much effort it takes. She realizes the monster is immune to normal tracking, so she can only view the battlefield.

The monster is instead tall, standing seven-foot-seven, with glowing red eyes, ash skin, and white hair. It also has numerous white bone spikes on its exposed arms and knees, and is dressed in modern black leather, like the kind worn on modern Earth. What the Knight-Commander didn't mention was the creature's immense speed, as it's moving faster than sound. The arrows, spears, and magical attacks of her minion are too slow. Even the bullets of the Earth-designed firearms fail to hit the beast. What's worse is the monster is not slowing down to fight any of her soldiers or monsters, instead it's running through them. Black Knights in full plate armor is knocked away like broken toys. Thick barriers of Stone and Golems immune to normal magic shatter into gravel. The monsters and soldiers that are not clad in the strongest armor are torn to pieces when they get to the monster's path. One particular large Troll explodes like a watermelon thrown off a castle rampart.

The monster then leaps towards the Castle, leaping so high it might as well be flying. Nerissa then watches in disbelief as the monster shatters the nine magical barriers around the castle. One of those barriers could block the most powerful magical attacks, attacks strong enough to match the feared nuclear weapons of Earth. The monster breaks them like a very heavy and dense rock breaking though frail sheets of brittle glass. The monster collides with the magically reinforced castle wall and Nerisssa can feel the entire castle shake the shockwave!

Nerissa feels something from her amulet, as if getting a message from the Fragment.

"What do you mean I should start running? I'm the Queen!"

BOOM!

The Doors to the Throne room explode off their hinges in a spray of splinters, flying across the room, before hitting Nerissa's barrier.

Nerissa's Throne room.

Same Time

1POV

I walk into the Throne Room still angry. It took me a week to finally reach this place. A week of magical storms, slavers, monsters, evil knights, and more monsters! One of my Cleaner Slimes absorbed so much magical blood it achieved sentience and was summoned to another world! I hope it doesn't get delusion of Rimuru Tempest, not all slimes can become the Demon Lord of a monster country.

As I walk in a see a bunch of evil knights in black plate armor on one side. I think I killed more than ten thousand of these black-clad losers. To be fair, unless your Berserker Lancelot from Fate, not many black knights can last long against me. There are also a few large muscular monsters and dark cloaked sorcerers, but they are even more fragile than the Knights.

On the other are the five girls of W.I.T.C.H., only adults, nude, and transformed into elemental beings. This isn't the first time I've seen this as Rorschach and me found another set after invading Cadmus Upsilon. I wonder what their true ages are as it has been many years since Nerissa took over.

"Who are you!?"

"Ash Grey – The Doomsday. I'm here to destroy the Fragment of the Red Sky."

"What makes you think you destroy the Fragment!?" asks Nerissa gripping her amulet.

"I've already destroyed twenty-seven Fragments." I say to Nerissa as I walk towards her, "Yours will be twenty-eighth of forty-two."

Nerissa fires a massive blast of dark magic at me. It's very destructive magic, causing the carpet and stone beneath it to decay. Some of her knights were also too close and got caught in the aura of the attack. They fall to the ground dead as metal corrodes, flesh rots, and bone decays to powder. It does zero damage to me, and I continue to walk towards Nerissa.

Nerissa fires numerous elemental attacks. Hellish flames capable of cremating giants and jets of ice water that could slice apart mountains. Stone harder than diamonds and shot like bullets, and blades of wind and vacuum that could slaughter armies. Even Quintessence Lightning, that was once her bane, fails to scratch me. It does zero damage to me, and I continue to walk towards Nerissa.

Nerissa attempts to create spatial warps to imprison me or teleport me far from her dark castle. I walk through the magical distortions like they are not there and hop over the eldritch portals like a child's pitfall. Even the micro black holes that she creates in her panic fail to tear my leathers. It does zero damage to me, and I continue to walk towards Nerissa.

Nerissa attempts to teleport away, but I appear in front of her with a burst of speed and my fist cocked back. I can hear a song beginning to play.

(Play The Hero by Jam Project)

As my fist collides with Nerissa, Nerissa ceases to be. She explodes like a bomb, becoming a crimson stain that coats the shattering throne. The shockwave of my punch is also so powerful that it shatters the back wall and shatters every window remaining in the throne room.

I pick up the Amulet of Nerissa and squeeze it as a candy wrapper, pushing out the Fragment into my mouth. I consume the Fragment and there is a small shockwave of crimson energy.

[Fragment of the Red Sky – 28/42 Destroyed]

"Two Thirds done."

Then the screaming starts. The Guardians collapse to the ground as their magical bindings shatter. Queen Elyon, Caleb, and Julian cry out as whatever mind control magic they were under unravels, just leaving them with the horror of what they did under that control. As for the massive armies of monsters and dark knights, they were created by a combination of Nerissa's magic and the power of the Red Fragment. With the destruction of both sources, the worlds rebel against their creation. They cry out as their bodies, minds, and spirits crumble back into nothingness.

"Thank you." says Queen Elyon, addressing Ash Grey. Despite the trauma she has endured, she is standing strong as the Queen she is. I give a slight bow.

"You're welcome."

World 29 - Ben 10

Temple of the Red Sky

Main Continent, Planet Dauthea, Iemia System

30-10-3055 (Earth Time: October 31, 20XX)

20:55 Local Time

3POV

Four thousand years ago, a strange red stone was found in a meteorite crater. The stone influenced the minds of the Dautheans that found it and they soon formed a cult centered around the sacred stone. The stone granted knowledge of both science and magic, and the cult became the main religion of thriving advance country. Other countries fought against the new country, which led to the great unification wars.

Three thousand fifty-five years, the great unification wars ended and the new emperor of Dautheans was crowned by the pontiff. Emperor Dauthan then declared it the beginning of a new era and the new imperial calendar was implemented.

Two thousand years ago, the Great Dauthean Armada was ready to begin its great conquest of the universe. They intended to wipe out all lesser races and use their very life energies to fuel the growth of their magi-tech civilization. The world on the top of the list of planets to be destroyed was the primitive world called Earth. The Red Stone had given a prophecy of a great threat who walked in the footsteps of many worlds who would be born there.

Two thousand years ago, an Event occurred and Dauthean Empire and all Deutheans were wiped out. After two thousand years, all that remains of the Armada are decaying debris orbiting the planet, many still containing preserved corpses of soldiers. After two thousand years, the only thing that remains on the verdant surface are decaying remains of cities and ancient monuments.

The Temple of the Red Sky – one a massive ziggurat that served as the most holy of holy lands and seat of power for the emperor, now serves as a throne for a new evil.

"Yes. I now possess greater power than ever. Part of me wants to thank you. If you hadn't contributed to my downfall, I would have never thought to hunt this stone."

Addwaitya is a Geochelone Aerio, also known as Aldabrans, are a turtle-like species from the planet Aldabra, in the Andromeda Galaxy. Most of their kind are peaceful, spending their days eating grass and talking philosophy. They do not have the concept of lying. They also revere an ancient, mystical member of their species, Addwaitya

Addwaitya is an Aldabran who mastered magic thousands of years ago. He is an evil mystic being, considered to be the most powerful sorcerer in the universe. For an unspecified amount of time, the Alpha Rune – a mystical item that grants power of magic iteself - was held by Addwaitya. He grew corrupted by its power, to the point he believed all living beings were thieves, as anything that lives "steals" mana from the Alpha Rune and in turn him. Addwaitya killed those who opposed him outright, and enslaved the original human inhabitants of Legerdomain. He was only defeated when another villain – Aggregor –stole the Alpha Rune.

His enemies are on the ground, bound by magical chains, and forced to bow before a being that has obtained God-like power. Addwaitya's new form shakes the ground beneath the prisoners as he walks.

Once he resembled a giant biped turtle, less humanoid than a ninja turtle, with a fiery pink-purple head and wore the Alpha Rune like a necklace. He also occasionally wore menacing barbarian clothing you would be a Conan the Barbarian comic.

Now he's a titanic terrifying Testudine standing over eighty meters (262 feet) with numerous sharp shell spikes. The massive turtle once possessed green skin and shell of a giant sea turtle, but now the color of dark ocean stone with numerous red markings. The once pink-purple flames of mana that covered his head are now the red-black flames of chaos magic. Hanging from his neck is not the Alpha Rune, but Fragment of the Red Sky worshipped by the world of Dauthea.

"Once you posed a minor threat to me, but with this new power you are nothing."

Addwaitya's Prisoners are the three people he hates the most, other than Agreggor who stole the Alpha Rune from him and caused his downfall.

Hope, known as the villainous Charmcaster, was born in Legerdomain - The Realm of Magic - an interdimensional realm believed to be the place from which all magic in the universe flows. Her father Spellbinder fought against Addwaitya and helped her and uncle Hex escape to safety on Earth. After he lost the Alpha Rune, she defeated him, tortured him, and even sacrificed him in an attempt to resurrect her father. He's only alive because Spellbinder rejected his daughter's madness and reversed the ritual.

"Hope, daughter of Spellbinder. Thanks to my new magic, you can't remember all of the spells you learned. You can't remember any memories of happiness or triumph that gave you strength. I even took away your sight. So, tell me, where is your Hope?"

Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson, known as the Hero Ben 10, is another thorn in the evil turtle's side. He was an ordinary ten-year-old when he found an extraterrestrial watch that enabled him to transform into various extraterrestrials each with their own set of traits and abilities. He fought various aliens who threatened Earth and sought the Omnitrix to conquer the universe. He grew from a mere kid with a super watch into a galaxy-famous hero.

"The child of an inferior race given the most powerful weapon in the universe and calls himself a hero. You can't remember any of your victories Hero. You don't remember using the watch even once and the barrier around the watch blocks touch and sound, so you can't even learn to use it again. It's said heroes draw strength from those they share bonds with, but what happens to hero who can't remember those bonds?"

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson, is Ben's cousin and a powerful sorceress due to her intellect and Anodite heritage (an energy being composed of magic energy (mana)). She started off weak, but she eventually grew to be one of the strongest and Charmcaster's rival. She can teleport, generate barriers, fire energy blasts, perform telepathy and telekinesis, and many other things. She contrasts with her boyfriend Kevin Ethan Levin – an osmosian who can absorb physical properties from solid objects and is skilled with mechanics.

"A sorceress of Anodite descent. I have taken your memories of magic, leaving you a mere human child. I have taken away your memories of friends and family, draining away the heart of a hero. I have even taken away the one you love, trapped the osmosian in a body of magical metal he can't control. There are so many things I could make him do to you with him trapped inside and unable to scream."

Addwaitya waves his hand and makes bubbles appear in front of him. These bubbles contain memories of other worlds. The images are very dark with numerous abuses, crimes, and tragedies.

"I could make things far worse for you. I have merely taken from you, but I could give false memories copied from your counterparts. A version of Hope that spent years being violated, raped, and broken in a woman's prison? A version of Gwen that was pimped out as a child by her grandpa for drug money? A version of Ben that was turned into zombie and devoured all the people he loved? So many choices."

"GERONIMO!"

Addwaitya creates a multi layered oval barrier of red magic, along with two circular magical seal shields to block the incoming attack. Just one of these barriers could stop anything short of a thermonuclear explosion and normally he would only use a single barrier and a single shield. He generated so many because the Fragment reacted in a way that can be described as "Fear".

The magical barriers don't stop the indestructible anti-magic projectile known as Ash Grey. Ash's grey-skinned form breaks three layers of magic like a cannonball through a glass greenhouse.

"Yoink!"

Ash also grabs the Red Fragment off Addwaiya's neck, breaking it off the necklace using his WhipFist. It takes precise timing as he's still falling at the time.

"Nooo! My Stone! Give it back!"

"Nope." says Ash Grey, before popping the thing into his mouth and loudly biting it. Addwaiya can't see the notification "Fragment of the Red Sky – 29/42 Destroyed", but he does feel all new spells begin to break, one after another. He also cries out in pain as the magic is explosively released from his body, boiling his blood, like how Green Kryptonite pulls the solar energy from Kryptonian flesh. As he collapses to his knees and claws, he looks at Ash Grey.

"Who are you!? Why are you Here?"

Ash Grey looks at the Gamera-size evil turtle and smiles.

"SHORYUKEN!"

Hope, Ben, and Gwen watch as Addwaitya's head explodes as the newcomer performs the Rising Dragon Punch from Street Fighter. Ash wanted some fun, and he figured if Deadpool and Veldora could do it, so could he. Ash doesn't land as a portal opens in his path.

"Did we just see comic book Doomsday in black leather perform a video game move and kill a giant turtle?" asks Hope, covered in the remains of her father's killer.

"Yes." says Gwen, wiping off the turtle blood from her face.

"I'm surprised you know about comics and video games." says Ben, trying to remember if the Omnitrix had a cleaning function or if Gwen has a good cleaning spell.

"I'm a sorceress, but I have a life outside of magic!" says Hope offended by the stereotype.

World 31 - Legion of Superheroes

Legion of Super-Heroes Headquarters

New Metropolis, NY, USA, Earth, United Planets.

Thirty-First Century

18:35 (standard time)

1 POV

The age of the Legion of Super-Heroes began when Garth Ranzz, Rokk Krinn and Imra Ardeen (also known as Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, and Saturn Girl) rescued R.J. Brande from assassins on a spacecraft on its way to Earth. The first the kids saw on Earth was the Superman Museum, where they were inspired to become heroes. They gained many members and became the Legion of Superheroes, what the Justice League was to twenty-first century Earth.

Superboy even joined the Legion of Super-Heroes and helped them in some of their adventures, before he even became Superman. Superboyfinally returned to his own time after a final adventure fighting a Sun-Eater (a weapon created to destroy stars).

Later a clone of Superman from the forty-first century – Superman X – appeared to get help to fight Imperiex an alien overlord that had conquered the world. Imperiex escaped to the thirty-first century and an adult Superman from the twenty-first century came to help his friends. The battles between the two groups came to a head when the original Brainiac was released from his prison within Brainiac-5's mind. Brainiac killed Imperiex and was a threat to the entire universe. Eventually, Brainiac-5 with help from both Supermen, overcame Brainiac and expelled him.

Brainiac-5 (Querl Dox) was transformed from a bio-mechanical humanoid into a fully organic humanoid. He no longer possessed the ability to transform his body into various technological wonders, but he still possesses his twelfth-level intellect that is the true source of his power. His discarded cybernetics on the other hand reformed into a weaker version of Brainiac.

The new evolution of evil is a mechanical humanoid with purple "skin", black limbs and lower torso with gray detail, dark green head and upper torso, numerous circular red lights, and yellow eyes. He looks more like a Megaman villain than a comic book villain. This entire body is smoking with the red lens burst like broken fuses. Arcs of electricity travel across his body and would be lethal to weaker humanoids. Against me, Zeus' lightning bolt wouldn't even warm me.

"This is the first time this has happened. Normally, Fragments go to antagonistic people that can fully use their power. You are a twelfth-level intellect, but the Fragment of Red Sky is CHAOS. A being obsessed with Order should have known better." I say with my hand around Brainiac's throat, "Is this place secured from transmissions? I don't want him escaping because someone left their communicator on. "

"Yes, Sir." says the organic Brainiac-5, sounding a little scared.

Funny thing. When I arrived in this world and time period, people ran away from me screaming. If I remember correctly, the Legion of Superheroes was a lot like the DCAU, so I wonder if Doomsday killed Superman in this Universe. In the DCAU, he ended heat vision lobotomized by the Justice Lord version of Supes and then banished to the Phantom Zone.

The Legion even attacked me without provocation because Doomsday is that feared even after a thousand years. They weren't able to harm me, as nothing is able to harm me these days, but it was annoying having to knock them down without causing permanent injuries. I understand Superman's speech about the world being like cardboard. Most of the Legion members would end up splattered across the roads and buildings if I didn't hold back, a lot.

I finally explained why I was there, and I spent a week with these guys, while waiting for the Red Fragment to show up. I was expecting a massive battle, but Brainiac arrived, driven completely insane by the Fragment. He was powerful, his attacks augmented to levels beyond logic and thirty-first century science, but he could barely direct his power towards his enemy's world.

It was hard to catch Brainiac-Prime as he was moving erratically at massively hypersonic speeds and firing off destructive blasts that would make a DBZ Saiyan proud. I saw some Legion members, members of the Science Police, and even civilians getting vaporized by those attacks. There was no digitization and storing them as data, which is how everyone survived in the cartoon.

In the end, it was me, Brainiac-5, and White Witch (Mysa Nal). White Witch donned the Helmet of Nabu and became the Doctor Fate of the thirty-first century. She cast an insanely powerful spell, so powerful the golden ankh that appeared was the size of a country. Brainiac-5 created a trans-phasic energy disruption cannon and focused on Brainiac-Prime for a solid minute. A weapon that is illegal on all the united planets because an uncontrolled shot can wipe out all technology on an Earth-level planet – fifty times over. My own contribution was my Abyss Roar at point blank range, at a level that I actually hurt myself. An attack capable of hurting myself is insanely dangerous.

As a result of those three attacks, Brainiac has been reduced to a head and upper torso unable to regenerate. Then we learned, the Fragment of the Red Sky fused with Brainiac's body, literally liquefying itself and wrapping around Brainiac-Prime's components on a molecular level.

"If Rorschach was here, this guy would already look like radioactive Jell-O".

"Everything is ready."

"Beginning."

I pump the ultimate Acidic Poison into Brainiac-Prime. It's a pure black liquid that breaks down the bonds of anything it touches. I watch as Brainiac-Prime dissolves and react to grab the Fragment as it shoots out of the Kryptonian villain's head and tries to escape. If I hadn't grabbed the flying crystal, it would have accelerated to near light speed and disappeared into space. It struggles and vibrates in my hand as it disrupts gravity around it. I still force it into my mouth.

[Fragment of the Red Sky - 31/42 Destroyed]

As the poison finishes dissolving Brainiac-Prime and begins to eat a hole in the concrete, I use my [Poison Embodiment] to reabsorb it. I don't want it to eat through the planet's crust and cause a geothermal event.

"Are you sure you don't want to join the Legion?"

"Rorschach plans on sealing our universe off from the others." I say to Brainy, "Also, if I wanted a Legion flight ring, Rorschach could make me one."

Suddenly, a tiny portal opens and drops a white/black ring in my palm. It resembles a Legion flight ring but other than coloration, instead of an "L", the symbol resembles an "R".

[Bonus Reward: Rorschach Flight Ring] - Nigh-Indestructible Neo-Valorium/Vibranium Ring. It enables its wearer the ability to fly in both atmospheric environments and outer space. Allows non-verbal communication between ring users. Superior to original created by Brainiac-5.

World 33 - The Spectacular Spider-Man

New York Science and Technology Tower

New York, NY, USA, Earth

August 10, 200X (I don't see a calendar)

11:46

3POV

The NY ST Tower was created to showcase new developments in science and technology meant to help mankind. It was a meeting spot to allow various scientists and innovators to meet and share their work. It also allows various businesses to show off their products outside expos. The Tower even had a small shopping center, food court, coffee shop, and the servers that house the online version of the place.

The tower of glass and steel is now housing one of the biggest supervillain battles in New York history. The cause of the battle is the acquisition of a single item.

The Stone of Kagutsuchi was found near a volcano in Japan. It was named after the original Japanese god of fire who burnt his mother Izanami to death with his birth. His father Izanagi mad with grief, sliced the child to pieces. The body parts became the islands of Japan, and the blood became dragons and gods, including Amatsu Mikaboshi – the august star of heaven and god of evil.

The red stone could generate immense amounts of energy and the scientists that held it received dreams of fantastic technology, making people believe it was an O-Part – a fragment of an advanced civilization. When it was brought to America, Doctor Strange attempted to remove it from existence, but was rendered comatose due to an energy wave.

There are three groups after the Stone of Kagutsuchi.

One is the Green Goblin. Norman Virgil Osborn is a ruthless businessman, inventor, gifted chemist, and the head of OsCorp Industries. He went from merely a businessman involved in criminal activities to a supervillain when he started taking a drug – Globulin Green –to enhance his intelligence and strength. The drug drove him insane, equipped with high-tech weaponry and dressed in a Halloween costume, he became the feared Green Goblin. He was declared dead when his glider crashed into an arsenal of pumpkin bombs, but in truth he escaped to the Cayman Islands in disguise.

He only returned to New York, after the death of his son Harry Osborn from a drug overdose. Green Goblin wanted revenge on Spider-Man and his "rivals". He doesn't even want the Stone of Kagutsuchi. He's just using the battle as a chance to kill all his enemies at the same time.

Otto Octavius was a brilliant scientist and inventor before an accident bonded him to four mechanical tentacles driving him to extreme criminal activities. Taking the name Doctor Octopus, Doc Ock for short, he became one of Spider-Man's most formidable opponents, founded Sinister Six, and took over the criminal underground as Master Planner.

Normally, Otto wouldn't be fighting alongside the six, but he recently enhanced his tentacles with indestructible adamantium making them formable weapons against even some of the strongest Avengers. These new limbs can tear though lesser metals, let alone what they can do to flesh and bone.

His Sinister Six are six of Spider-Man's strongest villains.

Sandman / Flint Marko was a petty criminal, until an accident turned him into a being composed of and able to control sand. Recent enhancements to his power have enabled him to transform parts of his body into razor-sharp glass and hard crystalline rock, making him a far stronger opponent.

The Rhino / Alex O'Hirn was a small-time crook until he was permanently bonded with silicon/titanium alloy suit granting him immense strength and durability. His recent augmentation allows him to better handle heat which often exhausted him before because he couldn't properly sweat.

Electro / Max Dillon is a former electrician who fell victim to a lab accident that turned him into an electricity-based supervillain. Max's enhancement is a special insulation suit that allows him better control over his power and allows him to store a greater amount of electrical energy. It also protects him from the elements, like water, so he doesn't easily short out.

Kraven the Hunter / Sergei Kravinoff is a former big game hunter who became obsessed with hunting Spider-Man. Thanks to Dr. Miles Warren, he was genetically enhanced with DNA from Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah. His newest enhancements added Tiger for greater muscle mass, plus optimized the hybrid's biological functions.

Mysterio /Quentin Beck is a former special effects wizard who turned super criminal. He doesn't possess any superhuman abilities, just "movie magic" technology. His enhancement is his illegal acquisition of Stark Industries "solid state" holographic technology which he's added to his performance.

Vulture /Adrian Toomes is an elderly aerodynamics engineer who used his designs to become a villain. He initially started his career because he wanted revenge on Osborn for stealing his designs. His enhancement is the restoration of his physical youth. It's not a major enhancement and he doesn't know the enhancement process means he'll be dead in a month.

Lonnie Thompson Lincoln the Big Man of organized crime, a role normally fulfilled by Kingpin in other universes. He's also known as Tombstone after an accidental chemical bath bleached his skin and hair but granted the walking corpse enhanced strength and durability. He doesn't even need to breathe anymore unless he's giving commands to his minions.

His minions include the Enforcers – Shocker, Ricochet, and Ox– who were enhanced to be able to fight against Spider-Man. Shocker has a suit that enables him to produce shockwaves/vibrations. Further enhancements to kinetic energy absorption make him immune to bludgeoning attacks and small arms fire. Ricochet possessing nigh superhuman agility was augmented by his suit. A special drug later boosted his reflexes far beyond human. Ox's suit augments his physical strength and durability, which has increased with the upgrade.

Other than the enforcers, Big Man has men in hoods, protective gear, and heavy weaponry. These people are mercenaries, who counter the super villains with sheer number and firepower.

"ENOUGH!"

The entire fight pauses as Ash Grey lands between the groups. Everyone is shocked at the appearance of the seven-foot-tall muscular titan of man.

*DOOM*

1POV

"Listen up! My name is Ash Grey. I'm here to destroy the Fragment of the Red Sky. It's what you people call the Stone of Kagutsuchi." I say calmly and with authority, letting my aura put fear into everyone, "Anyone who gets in my way will join the stone in destruction."

I reach up with my left hand and catch Spider-Man's punch, not even listening to quip. I squeeze the arm and the breaking of bone is audible, shocking everyone. I place my right hand on the side of Spider-Man's very emotive masked face (he's shocked and in a lot of pain).

"With great power comes great responsibility. Those are words you learned too late. Now your guilt drives you to take responsibility for stopping all criminals. Don't let the world break you, Pete." the last word I whispered to him, patting his face. Then I deliver a slap that sends Peter Parker – the Spectacular Spider-Man – tumbling across the ground. He lands next to Mary-Jane Watson, who goes to his aid.

The super villains can't believe it. A newcomer just bitch slapped Spider-Man out of commission.

"Someone had to knock some sense into that boy. He was going to ruin his life constantly trying to get rid of trash like all of you."

Green Goblin is the first to react, mostly likely to his mental instability and larger ego of them. He charges at me releasing a barrage of bombs and missiles from his new goblin glider. I simply ignore the fireworks and jump up, grabbing the Green Goblin. I hold him up by one hand by the neck and look at the lunatic.

"Norman Osborn. You are one of the most hated people in the multiverse. At the same level as the clown back in my own universe. Rorschach got to melt the clown, so I get to end you."

The Goblin Glider with three blades extended slams into my back and explodes. When fire, smoke, and debris clear, the villains can see I'm still standing. I'm not damaged in the slightest and I'm still holding Goblin by the neck. I pull him close, letting him see my shark teeth. While he's distracted, I charge a few of his bombs with destructive energy.

"Good-bye Norman Virgil Osborn. You won't be coming back."

I snap his neck, then toss his corpse through a window into air above ST Tower. The charged bombs detonate with far more power than normal, detonating all of Goblin's other explosives and the power cells to other weapons. The shockwave breaks a good number of the Tower's reinforced windows. There will be no miraculous escape for Norman this time. I smirk as Vulture squawks when a fragment of Norman's body flies by him.

I then blur and appear Infront of Otto Octavius, my foot on the canister containing the Stone of Kagutuschi/Fragment of the Red Sky. His tentacles automatically whip at me with intent to kill, probably something he added to counter Spider-Man's insane speed and spider sense. I caught the adamantium coil. For a moment, it looks like we have a stalemate, as adamantium can't be damaged by physical force and can even survive nuclear explosions and at the same time they are not strong enough to move me.

I could swing him around until the arms tear out of his body, but instead I test my destructive power. Adamantium can be altered by a molecular rearranger, insanely powerful magnetic fields that do similar work, anti-metal (vibranium beta/Antarctica vibranium) and magic. My destructive skills [Breaker Touch] and [Destruction Embodiment] don't work on normal principles. The nigh-indestructible metal bubbles like molten plastic before exploding, leaving Otto screaming in pain from the neural feedback. I grab him and with a quick burst of Doom Vision, he's now headless.

The other villains and criminals look like they are ready to run for their lives and forget the stupid stone. The stone has other ideas as it releases a red shockwave that washes over the group. In their glowing red eyes, fear and sanity of self-preservation is replaced by anger and the madness of obsession. The Fragment is desperate to protect itself and corrupts the criminal minds in a vain hope of saving it.

Sandman is my first target because with sand manipulation he could make a blinding escape. I use a bit of [Sound Manipulation] I got from the Naamah Qliphoth to scan Sandman much as my favorite Avatar character Toph Bei Fong would. I locate Sandman's core – the one part of Sandman that contains his soul. It's normally the size of a grain of sand, hidden among the rest, but when Otto augmented Sandman's powers the core grew to the size of marble. A single burst of Doom Vision and Sandman freezes like a statue before crumbling like ugly sand sculpture.

Without Sandman to block my vision or interfere, I go Homelander on the forces of Octopus and Big Man. The destructive energy beams burn and tear though their targets with brutal efficiency. Some like Kraven and Ricochet attempt to dodge the beams with their superhuman agility, but my eyes can track people moving at Flash speed and the beams travel at lightspeed. They are less successful than that team of Umbrella Soldiers in the laser hallway of the first film. The ones that try to tank my beams are even worse off. These suits weren't designed to handle lasers of concentrated gamma and cosmic rays. Electro's flashy demise is amusing to me. As solar storms can mess with a planet's magnetic field, cosmic ray lasers can apparently disrupt electrokinetic beings.

"What kind of monster are you? Why did you come here?" says J Jonah Jameson of all people, "Are you working with Spider-Man?"

"I am Ash Grey – The Doomsday. As for what I do?" I say breaking open the canister and pulling out the Fragment of the Red Sky. I then consume it. "That's what I do."

[Fragment of the Red Sky – 33/42 Destroyed]

"As for Spider-Man. Did you not see me slap some sense into him? He's a teenager that fights crime because he failed to use his powers once and his relative died because of his inaction. He's consumed by guilt, and it will ruin his life if he's not careful."

"A teenager!?" says JJ, "I knew he was menace, but I didn't think it was because he was a dumb kid."

"If he applied himself to science, he could make millions."

"Seriously?"

"He made all of his gear including those mechanical web shooters."

"Wait... Why are you talking to me?"

"I'm waiting for my portal. It's late."

A portal opens and I walk towards it. I turn on my heel and slap a charging Spider-Man back into the ground. He made a cast out of webbing and still charged at me when I just wiped out his rogues. Spiders be Crazy. "My Universe already has enough Spider-People to fill a borough."

I walk into the portal, leaving a stunned Spider-Man (both physically and mentally).

Solomon Wayne Memorial Building

Gotham City, NJ, USA

1POV

"Fools. Nobody can stand before the power of the Gentleman Ghost!"

Gentleman Ghost - Gentleman James Craddock was a highly successful criminal highwayman of the 19th Century. And thanks to his wit and marksmanship, he eluded the London's police for a long time. But Craddock kept one ability secret in that time, thanks to his fear of death he started to study the art of magic. In his quest for immortality, he encountered the imprisoned Demon Asteroth. Both villains struck a deal - if Craddock would provide Asteroth with ten souls the Demon would grant him immortality. Due to time travel shenanigans, Batman encountered Craddock when he was alive and tried to get the man to renounce the demon. Asteroth was killed by Etrigan and Craddock was tried and hanged. He rose as a ghost and vowed to get revenge on Batman even if he had to wait centuries.

The Bat Family - Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl – along with Etrigan now face the Gentleman Ghost empowered by a Red Stone. The crimson stone has turned the once completely white ghost to the color of blood. The battle is going poorly due to the mystical barrier that surrounds him. The barrier liquifies and repels metal, destroying the Nth metal weaponry Batman possesses to help him fight Gentleman Ghost along with most of his weaponry. It also blocks all forms of magic and even Etrigan's hellfire. This leaves the Heroes with very little to work with.

"No one is coming to help you fools. My barrier can't be broken by anything of this world or of heaven or hell."

The Barrier is an immense dome (actually a sphere) of red energy that surrounds Gotham, preventing other heroes like Green Lantern or Superman from entering. It also prevents Gotham's citizens from escaping the city. There are scientists and mystics attempting to break the barrier, but they are having no success due to its otherworldly chaotic nature.

What is worse is Gentleman Ghost now has far more tricks to use against the group. As an opening, he randomly killed a thousand innocent people with magic and turned them into animated skeletons that attacked the other citizens. When the group arrived to confront him, he created phantasmal copies of himself that could attack like the real Ghost, but could only be harmed by Nth metal and magic. Each of those clones released a poison mist when it died, slowing the speed and reflexes of the Bat Family. He also created ghost throwing blades, that only became tangible when they were inside their targets.

"Enough Games, Batman. You never had a Ghost of a Chance."

He releases a shockwave of red mystical energy. The blast is omnidirectional so it can't be dodged and its magical so it can't be blocked. The eldritch magic causes all metal objects in possession of the Bat Family and Etrigan to instantly liquify and burst, destroying the majority of their equipment beyond a few plastic items and glass pellets. The magic also paralyzes their somatic nervous system (SNS) rendering them unable to move. A couple of hand movements and the group is bound by mystical chains made of an alien red metal.

"I don't want you to miss my Victory!" says the Gentleman Ghost, as he waves his arms above his head. A huge sphere of blood-red energy begins to form between his hands. It grows from a tiny spark to a pulsating ball more than half a meter in radius. There sphere then rises into the sky and breaks into thousands of smaller fragments. Each tiny sphere streaks across the sky and stop above a building, hovering a couple meters off the rooftop.

"Each spark is powerful enough to set the entire building on fire. You get to watch Batman as every single building in this cursed city bursts into flames. When this city is nothing more than ash, then I'll grant you the mercy of death!"

"Why are villains in this universe such loud mouths?"

"What? Whose there!?"

I walk out the shadows deactivating my [Supernatural Stealth]. Even the Bats are shocked that a muscular man standing over seven feet tall could hide even from them.

"Who the blazes are you!?"

"My name is Ash Grey."

"So, Mr. Ash Grey, why are you on this roof, unaffected by my magic?"

"I'm an Adventurer on a Quest to destroy the Forty-Two Fragments of the Red Sky. As for Magic, I'm immune to all magic."

Gentleman Ghost hits me with bright red fireball, which doesn't even scorch my clothing.

"Rude." I said before I activated my [Soul Manipulation] skill. I hold my hand towards him and close my fingers as if I'm gripping something or someone. Gentleman Ghost then feels a horrific sensation he has not felt in centuries, the feeling of someone choking him. He sees the image of a phantom hand flashes around his neck, along with a brief flash of his phantom bones. He's dragged towards Ash Grey and he becomes desperate.

The red lights hovering above each of the Gotham buildings suddenly shoot into the air like red laser beams. These red lights arc and all hit Ash Grey with perfect accuracy causing an immense fiery explosion. The blast is so powerful it shakes the entire building, shatters glass, and destroys half a dozen ugly stone gargoyles. Most of the roof is destroyed along with the floor below.

Ash Grey still stands like a statue holding Gentleman Ghost by his ethereal throat.

"That's Impossible."

"You are easy to control, Mr. Craddock. You didn't even realize I ordered you to remove the city burner orbs."

"What do you mean?"

"Look at the Bat Family."

Mr. Craddock finds his head moving without thinking. He looks at Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl in the same places they were, completely undamaged, bound by his chains, and surrounded by his barriers. Mr. Craddock feels something is wrong with the image.

"I was the one that ordered you to create barriers around them so they wouldn't be harmed by the explosion. ", I say with a cruel smile, delighting in the Ghost's horror, "Drop the barrier."

Gentleman Ghost drops the mystical barrier protecting him without even thinking. I then reach out, grab the Fragment, and yank it from his chest. The Gentleman Ghost cries out as his spiritual body ignites with the loss of the stone. I don't care and instead consume the stone.

[Fragment of the Red Sky - 35/42 Destroyed]

Gentleman Ghost, once known as James Craddock, burns away completely leaving not a trace remaining. Even with my [Soul Manipulation] I can't detect even a trace remaining of his destroyed soul. With Craddock's descent into nonexistence, the Bat Family is freed, all traces of his magic in the city shattering.

"The ghost is gone; the deed is done. Of that fool's son, you will fine none." says Etrigan, "His fool magics have begun to decay, what do you have to say, Ash Grey?"

"Etrigan. I haven't had a chance to meet you in my home universe, but I congratulate you on your victory over Archduke Asteroth."

"Flattery, you give, you make me blush." he says with sarcasm, "Why do you know the name of the one I crush?"

"In another Universe, I watched your victory." I reply, killing time, "In my Universe, one of my wives helped you kill Morgaine le fey. Your aunt, actually."

Etrigan looks stunned, then replies.

"I think after this night, I will get plastered. Tell my other self, he's a lucky bastard."

Cybertronian Mining Ship Downfall

1POV

The Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons has finally ended.

The Great Optimus Prime – Leader of the Autobots - sacrificed himself to restore the AllSpark to Cybertron and defeat the Dark God Unicron. Optimus' joining with the Matrix also marked the End of the Thirteen Primes, those born of the creator Primus to battle Unicron.

Megatron after spending time as a slave of Unicron ended the Decepticon movement. He found that after experiencing slavery, he could not inflict it on others. Without his charisma, the majority of Decepticon forces lost their drive. The only exception being the most hardcore extremists.

When the Fragment of the Red Sky appeared, it found a very deadly Decepticon to be its master/host.

Long ago, Airachnid was with the Decepticons, where her cruel, cold-sparked, murderous demeanor served her well. After the Great Exodus of Cybertron, however, she decided to go solo. Airachnid spents her time engaging in her new hobby: collecting endangered species... well, parts of endangered species, mostly the heads. The more dangerous the species, the more prized her trophies.

Airachnid's fortune changed on Earth. A combination of sadistic hunts, betrayals, and attempts at power grabs led to her eventually being imprisoned in a stasis pod. She was freed with Cylas – a former human terrorist who thanks to experiments became an energy vampire. In the process she killed Cylas, who actually thanked her for putting him out of his misery.

Having been infected by Cylas' mixture of dark energon and synthetic energon while fighting him (via a small scratch on her neck), Airachnid soon became an Energon-vampire herself. She had already consumed the majority of her own Insecticons which is ironic considering Insecticons themselves are known for being aggressive gluttonous creatures, when the Fragment of the Red Sky landed on moon's surface.

"This is so Gross."

When I arrived in the Transformers Prime Universe, what I found was a Vampire/Zombie Apocalypse.

Oddly enough, this isn't the first time this has happened in the Transformers multiverse. In fact, it happens a disturbing number of times ranging from Quintessa experiments in G1 to one of Megatron's plots in Prime itself. Even the Hate Plague that ravaged the G1 Universe can be considered a near apocalypse.

Energon Vampire Queen Airachnid has already conquered most of the Galaxy with her army of vampiric drones and techno-ghouls. Her armies invaded all of Cybertron's colonies and even attacked the people of Earth.

"Well, this is just Prime."

Planet Ziri BA02 is a remote mining planet of the Cybertronian, which served as a base for the rebellion against Airachnid's Empire. The vampire queen eventually found the site and was delighted to find humans among the rebels, especially one Jack Darby.

Jackson "Jack" Darby is a smart, responsible young man. Before he met the Autobots, he was hard at work flipping burgers so he could save up for his first motorbike; but at sixteen he became partners with Arcee – a motorcycle femme Autobot – and helped fight the monstrous Decepticons alongside his friends Miko Nakadai and Raf Esquivel. Airachnid learned of Jack when she came to Earth and intended to take Jack's head to torture Arcee, but she was defeated.

Now, she is hunting Jack for sport, while holding Arcee and Miko as hostages.

"I have you now, my dear Jack. After all this time, your head will be my greatest prize. I can just imagine the horror in Arcee's eyes, so delicious."

As for me, I'm having problems of my own. I'm currently covered in a two-meter-thick layer of sticky webbing. The vampiric Insecticons tried to eat me when I first appeared on this world. They learned quickly I was part of the 5% of the universe they can't consume, and I tore them to pieces. They attempted to shoot me with solid projectiles, blast me with plasma and lasers, and cut me with blades that could slice through there armor like butter. They learned I redefine the word unbreakable, and I tore through them like a knife through aluminum foil. They finally decided the only thing they could do was slow me down, so they are drowning me into techno-organic webbing.

Thunk!

Vampire Queen Airachnid looked down at her chest to see a bone dagger piercing it and the one that staked her was Jack. When I first arrived on this planet, I saw one of the vampiric Insecticons chasing Jack, so I gave him a hand. When the dumb tried to bite me, I returned the favor and drained some of Dark Energon. I ended up giving Jack a blade containing a toxin designed to work against the Dark Energon. My poisons aren't limited to working on organic life forms.

Vampire Queen Airachnid cries out in pain as my blade glows a golden glow, a glow that penetrates deep into her body. Glowing cracks begin to spread from where she is impaled, as electromagnetic energies arc across her shaking form. His voice is getting louder and more distorted as beams of light burst from her body and shine from her mouth. One of her optics explodes as a beam emerges from the hole, followed by her other optic. Finally, she explodes into tiny burning fragments and ironically the largest fragment being part of her head.

The Vampiric Insecticon Drones are also suffering from the loss of their Queen, glowing gold before collapsing to ground dead. My senses can detect the extinguishment of sparks – the equivalent of a Transformer's soul. Their bodies crumble to dust as if infected by a virulent strain of Cosmic Rust. I do notice several Autobots and a single reformed Decepticon have survived the removal of corruption, their optics reverting to their normal color. They do appear to be drained of energy, approaching Stasis Lock (equivalent to being near comatose). I can imagine this is happening across the galaxy.

"Boss dies and Minions go with him or her. What is this – a video game?"

Jack, despite having burns from Airachnid's fiery death, doesn't let the pain stop him. Jack cuts opens the liquid-filled pod containing the unconscious Miko. He is holding her close in a manner that makes me wonder if this universe is one of those shipping variants.

As for myself, I incinerate the webbing and finally tear myself free. I would have done that earlier, but apparently Insecticon fire extinguishers exist. I wanted to keep an eye on things instead of being blinded of the anti-fire foam.

I walk over to the ashy remains of Airachnid and pick up the Fragment from the ashes. I shake off the metallic ash off and consume it

[Fragment of the Red Sky – 37/42 Destroyed]

I then walk over to Airachnid's throne, sit down, and begin to drink a container of liquified Dark Energon. I don't know why but my inner Tree of Death treats the Blood of Unicron like Miracle-Gro. It also doesn't taste bad to my "unique sense of taste".

World 39 - Star Wars: Rebels

Emperor's Ship

Orbit of Moraban (Korriban)

Ship Time: N/A

1POV

Darth Sidious, born Sheev Palpatine and known simply as The Emperor, was a Force-sensitive Dark Lord of the Sith and Emperor of the Galactic Empire, ruling from 19 BBY to 4 ABY. Sheev Palpatine was trained by Darth Plaguis the Wise, an expert in biological manipulation, which led to him to his grand plan. He manipulated Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation to blockade his home world of Naboo, so he could gather sympathy and rise from mere Senator of Naboo to the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. He engineered the rise of Separatists and the creation of a Clone Army to get war-time rights. He also manipulated things so the Jedi would be branded as criminals, and he could transform the Republic into the Galactic Empire. The one thing he failed to account for was a father's love overcoming the power of the Dark Side.

In the canon timeline, this led to him to being killed at age eighty onboard the second Death Star weapon platform in orbit above the forest moon of Endor. His original body died when he was thrown into the reactor by Anakin Skywalker, better known as his apprentice Darth Vader. Thirty-one years later, His final clone body was destroyed on the planet Exegol by Rey Skywalker reflecting his dark power back at him with the help of the spirits of the fallen Jedi.

This universe wasn't as lucky as the canon version. When the thirty-ninth Fragment of Red Sky appeared in this universe, its existence, horrifically unnatural to the universe, could be felt throughout the Force. It's very existence creating ripples in the Force that could be sensed by even the weakest of force sensitives and causing nightmares on a billion worlds. The natives of the world it landed on attempted to destroy it, but it released a wave of dark power that attacked very Midi-chlorians found in the cells of Galactic lifeforms. All life on the planet was destroyed, leaving a gaping wound in the Force.

The Empire fought to acquire the Red Fragment sending a vast number of ships. The Rebellion fought to prevent the Empire from acquiring the Red Fragment, sending what ships they could. In the end, it was The Emperor himself who claimed the Red Fragment and the Red Fragment chose Darth Sidious as its master. When torturing others with his force lightning, he would often rant about Unlimited Power. Now, Palpatine truly knew the meaning of those words.

By the power of the Fragment and will, all the force-sensitives on the side of the Rebellion lost their connection to the Force. With a single command, all the Rebels in orbit of that nameless world crumbled to dust, their ships shattering to pieces. Palpatine celebrated his victory by using the Red Fragment to destroy the unnamed planet in what he called a "fireworks display".

Darth Sidious was no longer a Dark Lord of Sith, he was now a Dark God of the Force. He didn't need Death Stars, Star Killers, or other such weapons to destroy world, he could destroy the planets himself with his will alone. He no longer feared the coming of any Jedi as his corruption spread through the Force, binding it to his will. He visited worlds that once produced many force-sensitives and on those planets, those possessing the potential either became his devoted slaves or burst into flames under god's authority.

Dark Sidious acquired the Fragment thirty years ago and now the Galaxy is dying. Most of the Outer Rim worlds are already dead or destroyed, from the Abrion sector to the Wazta sector. Even those worlds still alive are filled with a despair that poisons them.

On the Emperor's Ship, Palpatine sits on his throne with a cruel smile as he feels more of the Galaxy die. He has changed in the three decades since he gained "unlimited power". He was once an elderly man standing five-foot-seven with yellow eyes, sickly pale skin, and white hair. Thanks to the Fragment he's now a strong young man standing taller – even taller than his former apprentice Darth Vader. His hair is the red color it was in his youth and glowing red-gold eyes are filled with a combination of dark powers.

He then looks up with his glowing eyes to see something impossible. There is a man standing over seven feet in height standing in his throne room.

"Who or What are You?"

"I am Ash Grey – The Doomsday." I state to The Emperor

"Why can't I sense you in the Force?"

"Midi-chlorians are unique to this Galaxy." I say as I walk forward, "My galaxy has mitochondria instead, so we are not part of your Force."

"Interesting. Why are you here?"

"The Forty-Two Fragments of the Red Sky. Not only does their existence keep a monster alive, but they ruin worlds", I explain as I continue to move forward "With its help, you have done irreversible damage to the Galaxy. You've had your Fragment for far too long. I'm ending this."

As I get closer, I shift into my full monstrous form.

Darth Sidious the Dark Divine doesn't say a word, but doors open and release any army of droids. Droids, less commonly known as robots and automatons, are mechanical beings that possess artificial intelligence. These things are not like the pathetic B2-series created by the Geonossians or even the deadly IG-11 and Dark Droids showcased in the Mandalorian. These machines are far more advanced, and I suspect they were built using technology stolen from Rorschach by the World Eater.

They open fire with plasma energy blasts and laser to wipe out any army of Jedi Masters. As they fire, a set of immense blast doors close separating The Emperor from the battle.

I use my Doom Vision to destroy all the droids except for the ones with shields. As for the ones with shields, I spin using Whip Fist. Any not destroyed after that, are destroyed by my Doom Vision now that shields are down. I don't run, I just walk towards The Emperor. The doors have enough mechanical pressure to cut a Star destroyer in half like a pair of giant scissors, but I hold them back with ease. There is screaming and hissing from the mechanism, then the doors cease to function.

"I thought you disliked droids."

"I do."

My next opponents are the Knights. These are force sensitives that have been transformed into Palpatine's minions. If I was hardcore fan of Star Wars, I would be horrified at what had happened to the protagonists and antagonists of the films and shows. They have been completely corrupted, stripped of their humanity, and made into tools that can only feel hatred. It would have been more merciful to burn them to ashes like the other Force sensitives that refused Palpatine.

Ezra Bridger, Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker (without any burns or cybernetics), Luke Skywalker, and Mace Windu, all with soulless yellow eyes. My Soul Manipulation can tell these things are nothing more than corpses given life by the Dark Side and the power of the Fragment. I extend by bone spikes and catch the red plasma blades. They snarl as they attempt to push their blades through me. Instead, my bone spikes glow with power as they soak up the plasma energy. I can feel a vibration and a phantom request.

"Rest in Peace."

I knock the group back and then move with superhuman speed. My movements are so fast I create a three-dimensional pattern around me with the glowing bone blades. Glowing bone blades that slice cleanly through the armor of Palpatine's Royal Knights and the humanoids within them. The corrupted heroes fall to the ground in pieces, finally dead and beyond Palpatine's reach.

Darth Sidious lets out a cry of rage as he releases an immense beam of blinding red-white energy surrounded by force lightning. I can't see the ship around me being vaporized, but I can feel myself tumble into space. As I tumble out of the beam, several kilometers from the ship, I see that the beam has continued its path. It hits the surface of Korriban and create an explosion that blows away the clouds. Many cracks glowing with super-heated magma spread across the planet.

I can imagine the many fierce creatures of planets, many created using ancient Sith Alchemy, are now dead. I can imagine the great temples and tombs of the Ancient Sith Lords crumbling under the quakes of the planet's crust shattering. I can imagine the holocrons containing their dark secrets and forbidden knowledge melting away, and the spirits of Sith Lords falling into dark depths of the Force. I can imagine a lot of things. I watch as the planet's surface bursts, removing what remains of the atmosphere as the planet crumbles apart.

I fly back to ship using my Flight Ring. Sidious is laughing maniacally, thinking that he had finally destroyed me, but stops as he sees me. He releases another monstrous blast, not caring if most of his ship is destroyed in the process. This time, I'm using the Flight Ring instead of tethering myself to the floor. So, I continue to move forward, ignoring the red glare. Some of the beams arc off me, tearing completely through the ship. I continue to move forward until I'm within reach. Then I reach out and grab the Fragment floating between Sidious' hands.

There is a brief second when Sidious cries out, as his dark power is reflected on him. In the timeline untainted by the Fragment, Sidious would finally die when his enhanced lightning was reflected at him. This is far worse, as augmented darkness of the Force and the eldritch power of the Fragment surge through his entire being. Then he is gone – his body breaks apart on an inconceivable level, his mind ceases to be, and his soul is annihilated. I can sense it and the last time I saw anything like it was the Hakkai I used against Dragon King.

I consumed the Fragment.

[Fragment of the Red Sky – 39/42 Destroyed]

The Qliphoth inside me can also feel something else. The final cry of the Force as all living things in the Galaxy finally perish. As I stand on the remains of the Emperor's Ship, which is slowly coming apart due to fragments from Planet Korriban, I know I stand in a Dead Galaxy.

[Title Earned "He Who Shall Stand at the End of All Things". Effect: Increased Damage to all Living Things. Increased Damage to all Sentient Beings. Increased Damage over Time.]

A portal opens and I fly into it.

World 42 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012)

O'Neal Farm

North Hampton, Upstate New York, USA

Summer 202X

10:10

1POV

So far this has been the most peaceful part of my Quest. Instead of the big city, alien battlefield, or on an extraterrestrial ship, I'm standing on a dirt road close to an old farmhouse on a pleasant summer day. Since a lot of farms look alike, it takes me to recognize the place from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is the O'Neal Farm, where the turtles fled after the Krang invaded the city and began mutating the planet. Leonardo's shell was cracked by Shredder and his men, so he needed time to heal. The Farm exists in the TMNT multiverse as a place of retreat and healing. In this universe, it's where Master Splinter is buried after he was killed by Super-Shredder. In another Universe, it's where April and Casey got married.

I hear a weird squawking sound and turn to see a strange mutant creature on the ground. It resembles the mutation that April encountered on the farm, a hybrid mutation born an eagle eating a salmon who was consuming a worm. What made things more complicated is due to Donnie's experiments, April ended up psychically bonded to the creature feeling its pain and only able to see through its eyes.

I watch as the creature dissolves into vanishing purplish-pink particles, then turns towards the house.

"You can show yourself, April."

My guess is correct as a beautiful young woman in her late teens emerges from the House. She has blue eyes, light skin, and flowing ginger hair in a ponytail. She's dressed in an elbow-length black shirt with a yellow and white sport shirt with the number "5" over it, blue denim shorts, black tights, brown bandages/bracelets around her wrists, white high socks with two blue stripes on them and black low-heeled boots. The clothing is identical to what she wore in the 2012 series but altered to fit her grown body.

"They are not real." she says indicating her clothing. She must have noticed me looking. She waves her hands over herself and her civilian clothing switches to her tight black Kunoichi outfit, sexier than 1987's yellow jumpsuit. "Nothing is real."

"The Fragment of the Red Sky?"

"The Fragment. It's all my fault. You think I would learn when I was possessed by Dark Aeon, but when we took the Fragment from Tiger-Claw, I became fascinated by it. Most people have addictions to smoking or alcohol or drugs, but I'm an addict to psychic minerals!"

During an outer space adventure, when they were attempting to prevent the destruction of Earth by the Triceraton's black hole generator, they landed on a planet called Xaava-Dal. The planet was inhabited by the Aeons - powerful, ancient aliens and the first beings to evolve in the universe. The peacekeeping guardians of the planet Xaava-Dal resembled winged angels in their true forms but had become corrupted by their worship of generator fragment. When they were restored, April was given a fragment of Sol Star - an alien artifact that acts as the symbol of the Aeons and, according to the Fugitoid, contains the power of life itself. What April didn't know was the shard contained the soul of a corrupted Aeon that nearly turned her into a monster.

"I'm here to destroy the Fragment."

"Destroy it? Where were ten years ago!?" says April begins to cry, "Ten years ago, I had my father. I had my friends, the Turtles. I had a boyfriend, Casey. Now, I'm alone. The Fragment is the only thing left!"

"Forty-Two."

"What? What does the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything have to do with me?"

The Work of Douglas Adams strikes again!

"There were Forty-Two of those Fragments of the Red Sky. I've been travelling from world to world, alternate Earths and other worlds, destroying those Fragments."

"So, what took you?"

"Your Fragment is the Last One."

"The Last One. Our World was at the bottom of the list!?" says April, on the verge of breaking down, "I held on for so long. While possessed by that Stone, I destroyed everything and everyone. All I could do was scream inside my mind as my friends and family turned to dust! All that remains of them are fragments of their minds I managed to hide in my soul."

Phantoms of various people appear around her.

Leonardo – The Leader of turtles dressed in blue with two swords.

"From Leo I have his swordsmanship and bushido. It's his meditation taught by Master Splinter that has let me keep part of my sanity."

Raphael – The stronger of the turtles dressed in red with two sais.

"Raphael not only gave me fighting skills, he was a painter and caretaker."

Donatello – The genius of the turtles dressed in purple with a wooden bo.

"Donny was a genius, but I never realized how smart he was. I suddenly understand all the techno-babble he said. I also understand what I lost with far too much clarity."

Michaelangelo - The heart of the turtles dressed in orange with nun chucks that can become kusari-gama.

"Mikey. Creativity, Cooking, Dancing, and Pop-Culture References. I think Mikey made me more flexible, so I didn't completely break."

Casey Jones – A masked vigilante who became a friend to Raphael, lover of sports equipment, and more to her.

"He was surprising. Casey crafted all of his gear, but I didn't know he had mechanical talent."

Miwa Hamato - Also known as Karai, Princess of the Foot Clan kidnapped and raised by Shredder, but eventually joined the light.

"Shredder was a monster, but he was an efficient teacher. I remember all of his lessons."

Shinigami – A mystic witch and Karai's longtime friend from Japan. She joined the new Foot Clan under Karai's leadership.

"I learned sorcery and hypnosis from Shinigami. I also learned her real name."

Suddenly, all the phantoms fade, and she collapses to the ground holding her head.

"Every day, it gets worse. That Thing wants me to continue the destruction. It's desperate and hungry. It knows it's the last." says April, her eyes opening wide and looking at me, "It knows you can destroy it! My God, you're real."

The World around us distorts and then crumbles away to reveal reality, as broken as it is. The peaceful farm on Earth is gone, leaving dead asteroids floats in the depths of space – the ruins of Earth. It's a dangerous place, as there is no atmosphere to breathe or protect against the hazards of space. The asteroids are also slowly refusing into a planetoid due to the gravity. What is most disturbing is a pillar of crimson light stretching into infinity. Shining like a red star, the stone floats in the pillar unaffected by gravity or other forces.

When April begins to suffocate (apparently the Fragment willing to sacrifice its host), I activate the Flight Ring and grab her. I fly towards the Fragment, using my powers to break and melt through the asteroids it sends in my direction. It starts to fire massive red energy blasts, each capable of shattering the moon, but the psychic energy is useless against me and my body is immune to the debris. What I am concerned about is April in my arms, as I have to act as an indestructible meat shield to keep her safe.

I finally reach the pillar of light and grab the Fragment of the Red Sky before it can warp itself across the Galaxy. It vibrates in my hand, emitting sparks and bursts of radiation, like an animal desperately trying to escape the claws of a predator. I can almost hear the psychic scream of something inhuman and otherworldly as my jaws close around it.

[Fragment of the Red Sky – 42/42 - Destroyed.]

[Quest Complete!]

[Congratulations]

As I wonder where the confetti came from, a portal opens and April and me enter it.

1POV

Rorschach walks over to find me holding a nude twenty-seven-year April O'Neal.

"Psychic clothing." I state. Rorschach the super-genius immediately gets it.

"Disappears when unconscious." finishes Rorschach, "I'll have medical bots put her in a bed."

The robots come to take April back to the facility on Outer Heaven. Considering the psychic hell, she has been through, she will be spending her time under psychiatric care.

"Is Red Sky dead?"

"I hit him with transversal cannon the nanosecond the last Fragment broke. There is not a trace of the abomination left in any dimension. I might have even restored a couple worlds it devoured."

"How does that work?"

"My cannon basically says, 'I reject your reality and substitute my own'. I tried to explain the math to another tenth level intellect I located, and he cried blood. He then gave up science and mathematics to become an artist."

"Well, that's broken." I say to the Rick-level genius, "So how long was I gone?"

"It's July 23. The next day." says Rorschach, "So how long was it for you."

"A hundred twenty-six days. Roughly eighteen weeks."
