Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

After morning homework, Austin received an address from Sandra. He went to Mrs. Lopez's mansion to pick up his father's traditional medicine kit.

"Where did you want to use it?" Mrs. Lopez asked.

"At Mr. Kim's house."

"Take care of yourself too, my son," she said, rubbing his hair at the back.

Austin then took a cab to where Sandra needed his attention. He then received a call from an unknown number.

He answered it, and a familiar voice came.

"Austin. Please forgive me. I did not know you're that powerful," Kelvin said.

"I don't understand you."

"I have lost all my money. Please, you are my last hope. I don't want to die."

Austin kept quiet for a while, thinking he should keep pretending.

"I asked your wife to be my one-night stand, but she refused. I am very sorry. Where are you? I want to bow before you so that you will forgive me."

"I don't understand what you are saying."

"I have gone to your house. You are not at home. I will come and check on you in the evening." Kelvin hung up the call, and Austin put his phone back into his pocket.

Not long after, he saw Sandra already waiting for him outside. Alighting from the car, he spread his arms, allowing Sandra to hug him tightly.

"Thank you for coming. Please follow me." She took Austin into a big, beautiful mansion where an elevator was lifting them to the upper room.

"The son of Mr. Kim, is not feeling well. And tomorrow is his wedding day. His fiancée has been crying since yesterday. All the doctors they called failed to take care of him. That is when I remember you." Sandra opened the door for them to enter the room where they laid Eric, the son of Mr. Kim

"Are you sure he could take care of my son?" Mr. Kim said with a worried countenance on his face.

"You have already called all the doctors you knew, and none of them could help. Let Austin do what he can do, and let's wait and see," Sandra said.

"Daddy, don't mind Sandra. This man can only worsen the state of my brother. I have already called an expert doctor. He would soon arrive," Judith, the sister of Eric, said.

"Let him do what he can do before your doctor arrives."

Austin moved closer to the bed and placed his kit down. He was about to open it when another doctor entered.

"Dad, my doctor is here," Judith said. "Tell that man to get the fuck off my brother."

Austin felt somehow rejected. He rose and grabbed his kit, heading out.

"Please, Austin," Sandra ran after him. "Please wait."

"They have already called a doctor," he said.

Sandra didn't know what to say. "Should we wait outside?"

Austin understood and nodded.

They entered the elevator, left the upper room and then found a place to sit outside the mansion.

In that moment, Kelvin ran to Austin, knelt before him, and kowtowed several times.

"I'm sorry. Someone helped me track your phone. Please forgive me," Kelvin said.

Austin let out a heavy sigh.

"Please don't pretend as if you don't understand. I have suffered a lot. All my money is gone. I have lost connection with the Lopez company. How would I survive in this world?"

"Should I bow down for you again so that you would believe I don't know about what is happening to you?" Austin said.

Kelvin quickly stood. "Please don't. I will leave. I will not bother you again."

The moment Kelvin left, a shout came from the mansion.

"Sandra, Sandra... Please come with your doctor. My doctor has worsened my brother's health," Judith said, weeping uncontrollably.

Sandra pulled Austin inside in a hurry, and they entered the elevator.

But outside the mansion, on the other street, Dennis, the father of Ethan, was in a black car, watching everything since the time Kelvin was kowtowing before Austin.

He rolled up the car window and moved his car to the place Kelvin was heading.
