The shower hissed, filling the bathroom with a warm, dense steam. Seo-jun leaned against the slick tiles, his breathing ragged. His whole body was a live wire—burning, unsteady. He tried to clamp down on the feeling, but his control was slipping, his pheromones leaking into the air in undeniable, dizzying waves.

Do-hyun stood a few feet away, his shirt hanging open. His chest rose and fell with sharp breaths, his gaze dark and hungry as it devoured Seo-jun. "Seo-jun…" His voice was a low, hoarse scrape. "What are you doing to me?"

"Stay back," Seo-jun choked out, turning his face away. His knuckles were white where he gripped the wall for support. "I'm not... I'm not well."

Do-hyun closed the distance in one stride, caging him against the wall. Water droplets traced the lines of Seo-jun's drenched shirt, plastering it to his skin. Do-hyun's eyes followed their path, his restraint visibly fraying. He braced a hand against the tile near Seo-jun's head, his body radiating heat.

"You smell…" Do-hyun breathed in, a tremor running through him. "There's no way you're just a beta."

Panic flared in Seo-jun's eyes. "Don't say that."

A slow, dangerous understanding dawned on Do-hyun's face. "You're in heat," he whispered, the words a revelation. "You're an omega."

Seo-jun bit his lip until he tasted blood, a whimper trapped in his throat. His body was a traitor, screaming the truth he'd hidden for so long. "I didn't want anyone to know," he confessed, the admission tearing from him.

For a long moment, the only sounds were the spray of the shower and their ragged breathing. Then, Do-hyun's hand moved, surprisingly gentle as he cupped Seo-jun's cheek, tilting his face up. His thumb brushed away a stray drop of water—or was it a tear?

"Seo-jun," he murmured, his lips a breath away. "Stop fighting it. Let me take care of you."

When their lips met, it was not gentle. It was a collision of heat and need, deep and claiming. Seo-jun's hands, which flew up to push him away, instead fisted in Do-hyun's shirt, pulling him closer. The last of his resistance crumbled into dust.

Do-hyun broke the kiss, his voice raw. "You taste like you've been mine all along."

"I hate you," Seo-jun gasped, the words hollow against Do-hyun's mouth.

A low chuckle rumbled in Do-hyun's chest. "Then hate me." In one fluid motion, he swept Seo-jun into his arms, carrying him from the steam into the cool air of the bedroom.

He laid Seo-jun down on the rumpled sheets, his gaze possessive. The world narrowed to the space between them, to the frantic beating of their hearts. The initial pain of joining made Seo-jun cry out, but Do-hyun was there, his touch firm yet careful, murmuring soothing words until the pain melted into a pleasure so profound it stole his breath.

Their rhythm built, a frantic, desperate cadence. Seo-jun's pleas were incoherent, a mix of "more" and "please" and "Do-hyun." They were lost in each other, the universe outside their bubble ceasing to exist.

A sharp, insistent knocking shattered the haze.

They froze, lips still clinging. The knock came again, louder.

"Someone's at the door," Seo-jun whispered, pulling back, his face flushed with a dawning horror.

"Ignore it," Do-hyun growled, seeking his mouth again.

But the door swung open. A woman stood frozen in the doorway, her eyes wide with shock. The vase in her hands slipped, shattering on the floor with a explosive crash.

Do-hyun looked up, dumbfounded. Seo-jun buried his burning face in the crook of his neck, wishing the bed would swallow him whole.

The woman's shock curdled into fury. She surged forward, snatching a book from the nightstand and swatting Do-hyun across the shoulder. "You little bastard! What are you doing to this poor boy!"

"Mom! Wait!" Do-hyun yelped, shielding himself. "It's not— he's in heat!"

His mother froze. The anger drained from her face, replaced by flustered, wide-eyed understanding. "Oh! Oh, dear... I see." She backed away hurriedly, her cheeks pink. "I'll just... I'll be outside." The door clicked shut, leaving a ringing silence in her wake.

Seo-jun kept his face hidden. "I can't believe that just happened," he mumbled, his voice muffled by Do-hyun's skin.

After a long moment, he slowly sat up, trying to salvage some dignity. "I... I'm feeling better now," he insisted, though his entire body was still thrumming.

Do-hyun's eyes glinted with mischief and unresolved desire. "Are you, though?" Before Seo-jun could process the movement, Do-hyun's hand was on him, a firm, teasing pressure through the fabric. "My mom is waiting right outside. The least I can do is finish what we started."

"Wha— No!" Seo-jun gasped, but Do-hyun was already sliding down, his intention clear. Seo-jun's hands flew to his shoulders to push him away, but the protest died in his throat as Do-hyun's mouth found him. The sensation was too sharp, too overwhelming after everything. His back arched off the bed, a choked cry escaping as he climaxed, shuddering through the shocking, abrupt release.

Do-hyun pulled back, a smirk playing on his lips. "That was fast. I barely even started."

Seo-jun could only collapse back onto the sheets, covering his face with his arms, utterly and completely defeated.
