But just as she tried to leave again ,she sighted that man again and quickly ran to the car.was she been chased? Nicholas just got into the car and zoomed off without saying a word. It was already so late in the night but here he was, playing around with a stranger.
"Stop! " He heard the girl say after driving for a while. He was confused but still stopped. He saw her open the door and got out. she came to his side and squeezed out a 'thank you' breathlessly then ran away in the opposite direction.
'what's going on? ' Nicholas Was convinced now that the girl Must be In Trouble.He looked towards the direction she ran for a while,his expression unreadable.
Stella found an Alley and sat down hoping to hide for a while, it was so dark and she felt really scared now, she was just a young girl after all. For a moment, she resigned to fate, she was so unlucky. If something was really going to happen to her tonight then that would be better.
She was tired.She regreted being impulsive. She Should have asked Mrs Ebenezer for help and not just run off and try to look out for herself on her own. Bowing her head on her knees she suddenly felt a touch on her shoulder.
"ahh! " she screamed and sprang up in fright.
"please don't kill me!"
'shhh..' Nicholas sighed. He didn't know he would frighten her like that.
Stella calmed down when she saw the intruder's face.
"You.. "
"be quiet. Come with me" Nicholas said.
"where are we going? " Stella asked.
"Quit asking questions and come with me ". Stella followed him. at least, this man didn't look like a bad person.
They passed through the Alley to a humble Building . Nicholas got the keys from his back pocket and opened the door to a small apartment which consisted of a living room and a bedroom,simply furnished but homey .the living room led directly into the bedroom ,creating an intimate open plan space.
"wait.. You brought me to your house? " Stella looked around Warily.if this was a bad guy then there's definitely no escape route for her.
"obviously ".
"I.. What if they saw us? You don't even know me, what if you get into trouble when they find us here? " Stella spoke in a row.
"oh.. "
Was she worried about him?Not bad.
"I thought you were mute, what happened? " Nicholas looked at her with a mischievous smile playing on his face.
Stella quickly looked down in Embarrassment, fiddling with her fingers.
Nicholas found her Amusing .she was quite a good Actress. Her little trick could have worked but he had heard her yell at the rogue who was harassing her .he looked at her cheeks and could still see a faint hand print.her skin was light and tender, so it was obvious. He felt angry, how could a man harass a young girl like this? He must be an animal!
He had wanted to get out and confront the bastard but he noticed something was off with the girl and she wanted to get away quickly,so,he had to ignore the Rogue.
"I'm sorry, but I don't have money to pay you for the ride "
"mm okay". Nicholas already knew she didn't have money to pay.
"does it still hurt? " He wanted to touch her cheek but stopped. He pointed at it instead.
" it doesn't hurt that much "
"okay,Can you tell me why you've been running around at this time of the night? " Nicholas sat across from her ,stretching his long legs in a casual manner.
"okay, it's like this.. "
Stella told him everything. Not leaving out even the issue with her mother.she has never had someone to talk to like this while Nicholas listened without any Expression.
"they must be human traffickers "
he finally said when she finished. This girl has been through a lot. She was quite tough.
Stella widened her eyes in fear, her sixth sense told her they were bad guys. No matter what, she was glad she already left.But then ,She Remembered Victoria. would she and the others be in trouble?
"Thank you for saving me today ". Stella said. She might have been kidnapped or still be out there in the cold now if he had not helped her.
"it's nothing. You can sleep here '' he waved his hand then stood up and walked towards the opposite room.
"what's your name? " Stella asked.
"Nicholas " then walked to the other Room.
Stella nodded. Nicholas saved her.
But it was such a long Night because Stella couldn't sleep, she was in an unfamiliar Environment with a total stranger. Her guard was up.
Nicholas noticed she couldn't sleep and just ignored her and went to sleep.

Some people stood outside the kwes Group. The Company's Building was Magnificent. A towering sky scraper. It was about the biggest building in the Area.the city bustled around it as it stood out.They had several properties scattered around the city and it was the envy of many,This one was the headquarters. Mr Andrew as he's popularly called was the CEO of the Kwes group .He was the Richest man in the Country.
But one of the interesting things about him is that.. He had 11 sons whom he sometimes refferd to as his brothers.they were born from different mothers.but none of the women stayed permanently with him. Mr Andrew built a strong business Empire with his 11 sons and dominated the position of the Richest man for years now. The Kwes Group had so many investments and Investors. They also had several Assets and employees. A real power house.
And now, Reyna stood outside the company like others. Admiring the building.They knew it Was furtile standing outside like this and waiting for a miracle. They hoped to be employed even though the knew the company wasn't in need or short of employees. It wouldn't be long before the company's security come to drive them away.
Reyna looked around in Amazement. This had always been her dream place of work. It was her final year in the University. And she hoped to get into the kwes group after school. She and her friend always talked about this place. But she had to leave as the security Men were already approaching.she was just passing by anyway.
But there was a sudden bit of commotion as several cars drove in a row into the company.

"it's the kwes Brothers! " someone said in the crowd. Two of the cars that drove in had two out of the kwes brothers in it.
"Is that not Bernard kwes?" Someone said.
"How do you know he's the one?" Bernard kwes was a very reserved person and didn't often show his face in public. And he wasn't really on social media, so,many people didn't know him.he's rumored to be the second son of the Kwes house.he was said to be an Astute individual and highly skilled in business. He stepped out of the car .
"I told you,he's the one.I have seen him somewhere before".
" He looks so much like his father "
And truly, Bernard looked like his father, he was tall but he's not someone that can be described as very handsome but he had a warm smile and Aura that made people feel comfortable. He had the Air of a Prince and carried himself with so much dignity.he was already married.he wore a back suit with a red tie.typical of a company manager or CEO.
"Look! That's Andre!"
A young man of 24 came down from the car wearing sunshades. He stood tall,wearing a White pant and blue shirt which exposed a bit of his chest.
"It's him!"
"Andre!"

Most of the girls had sparkling eyes as they stared at Andre.unlike Bernard, he was very handsome.he was also said to be their Father's favorite and the seventh son.he had a playful and mischievous Aura.he was so self aware as he gave a playful wink to some of the girls who were drooling over him.unlike Bernard,he was very popular and loved the attention. Reyna stood there,blinking at the god like figure.it felt like a dream.she also had a little crush on Andre like most of the girls. But it was just a crush because she knew she couldn't have him.He was just up there,they were not in the same class.she had only seen his pictures in the internet and newspapers,Seeing him in person now,left her dumbstruck or probably starstrucked.
