Yun Chuan felt an extraordinary sensation.
The moment the five elements filled his five internal organs, his consciousness seemed to soar infinitely. He observed his body from a grand, macroscopic perspective—a wondrous experience.
A complex diagram of meridians appeared in his mind, like mountains and rivers; the blood flowed like water, meridians like canals.
What caught his focus were five glowing orbs attached to his five organs: red at the heart, green at the liver, yellow at the spleen, white at the lung, and black at the kidney.
In traditional Chinese philosophy, the universe is constructed by the five elements—metal, wood, water, fire, earth—the root of all existence. To master the five elements is to master the world itself, possessing power of creation and destruction.
His body was a miniature cosmos. Inside, his heart blazed like a small sun with intense fire energy. Suddenly, the flames paused, as if time had frozen, and the image halted.
Slowly, the red flame disappeared, replaced by complex red symbols emerging from the heart's surface. These ancient, mysterious runes embodied the infallible laws of the universe, the eternal truths.
Like living beings, each red rune moved on his heart in a pattern—seemingly chaotic, yet expressing supreme order.
Yun Chuan's spirit was irresistibly drawn to the symbols, each movement imparting strange insights—like understanding nothing yet everything simultaneously.
After an unknown length of time, the runes ceased moving and slowly fused back into the heart. Its color turned deeper red and more radiant.
Immersed, Yun Chuan felt the spirit of fire itself—the will and essence of flame.
He felt as though he had become the world's fire: wherever fire existed, so did he.
With the runes fully absorbed, a crystal-clear, blood-red heart appeared within his perception—like the most beautiful red gem, glowing softly.
Suddenly, the brilliant heart pulsed loudly, its beats echoing in his body.
In his perception, a ring representing the five elements emerged.
From the fire element, a part separated, extending to the earth element—like tinder meeting dry wood, igniting instantly!
Earth surged, transforming his spleen into a miniature mountain, growing rapidly from the size of a grain of rice until it filled the entire organ, appearing vivid and solid.
Yellow runes appeared, moving and floating across the spleen's surface.
Yun Chuan fell into deep meditation again. When he emerged, the yellow runes fully merged, and he experienced a profound transformation akin to the one from fire—this time embodying earth.
He felt himself become the earth: vast, ancient, majestic, supporting countless lives and nourishing growth. He rejoiced for goodness and railed against wanton destruction.
Experiencing earth's weight and compassion profoundly.
The yellow runes merged completely, forming a crystal-clear yellow spleen like the rarest yellow gem, glowing faintly.
The earth energy surged through the elemental ring, stimulating metal, causing the heart of metal within his lungs to swiftly mature into clear crystal.
Following metal, energy flowed to water, transforming his knees into black water-crystal form.
Water then stimulated wood, resulting in a green-crystal liver.
Through constant interplay of elemental generation and overcoming, his body and mind continually shifted.
The five crystalized organs glowed in distinct hues:
White for hardness – metal!
Red for fiery passion – fire!
Black for flexibility – water!
Green for vitality – wood!
Yellow for solidity – earth!
Each element's power washed over his body differently—metal hardened it, fire imbued explosive strength, water lent suppleness and bounce, earth crystallized into firm resilience, and wood brought vitality and recovery likened to legendary toughness.
The five primal forces roamed like mischievous children, their subtle insights echoing in Yun Chuan's soul.
Time passed imperceptibly.
When Yun Chuan opened his eyes once more,
the world seemed utterly transformed.
Before, he was like a person with extremely poor eyesight, barely seeing the world clearly. Now, he felt like a newborn opening eyes for the first time—filled with wonder at everything around him.
"Could it be that the legendary divine beings see the world like this?" he wondered, fascinated by the newly revealed reality.
The feeling of sobriety among all's delusion was exquisite beyond words.
