Chapter 89 - Chapter 89 – Bloodline

Yun Chuan followed Tang Hao deep into a range of rolling mountains. Though they couldn't see the entire mountain chain from their position, even the outer peaks soared into the clouds.

Yun Chuan immediately understood why Tang Hao had brought him here.

"Follow me."

Tang Hao glanced at Yun Chuan, then leapt straight toward the sheer mountain face.

The cliff was almost vertical, nearly ninety degrees, yet Tang Hao moved as if walking on flat ground. Each step he took lifted him more than ten meters upward, rapidly ascending to the summit.

Yun Chuan silently followed, using no soul power to leap but relying on his exceptional physical strength. He moved even more effortlessly than Tang Hao.

Father and son swiftly traversed peak after peak, taking nearly an hour to reach deep within the mountains.

By then, roaring sounds drifted faintly to their ears, and the air grew increasingly moist and cool, notably colder than outside.

Eventually, Tang Hao stopped at a valley.

Looking up, Yun Chuan saw a clear, tranquil pool, like a giant blue gem, its surface rippling gently.

A waterfall about twenty meters wide draped like a jade ribbon across the nearly two-hundred-meter cliff, roaring as it crashed into the pool below.

Sunlight illuminated sparkling droplets, casting a radiant rainbow arching over the water.

A fresh spray of crisp mist greeted Yun Chuan as he arrived, soothing and delightfully cool.

Encircled by mountains lush with endless greenery, before them lay the gemlike pool and majestic waterfall — a breathtaking scene unlike any described in the original story. Yun Chuan stood stunned.

Tang Hao approached the waterfall, his usually austere expression softening with tender warmth.

"What brings you here?" Yun Chuan asked, frowning.

"Come with me," Tang Hao sighed and soared toward the waterfall, right hand lightly tapping the air to vault himself onto the rocks behind it. Yun Chuan followed easily.

Tang Hao gestured with his massive Clear Sky Hammer, repelling the waterfall's cascade upward over half its length with his powerful soul energy.

Touching the rock behind the waterfall, the stone oddly recessed, revealing a door. He slipped inside smoothly without hesitation.

Yun Chuan followed.

Inside, the wet cave was about three meters tall and two meters wide, extending inward.

The blackness prompted Tang Hao to illuminate the space with a pale golden gem from his soul device and lead the way.

At the cave's innermost point, a small chamber ten square meters in size opened.

Empty save for a mound of earth beneath the ceiling's rocky aperture, on which a slender Blue Silver Grass stalk gently swayed.

This Blue Silver Grass was longer and strange, adorned with shimmering golden veins on its leaves.

Tang Hao sat upon the earth beside it without care for the dirt, gently stroking the leaf with an unexpectedly tender expression.

"Ah Yin, I've brought our son to see you. The son who was taken from us has grown stronger than I. You see him? Our son is here."

Though he had anticipated this moment, the blood bond overwhelmed Yun Chuan's heart as he quietly gazed upon the softly moving Blue Silver Grass, pulsing with gentle vitality.

Uncontrollably, the Blue Silver Grass stirred.

Toward this, the ethereal image of a blue-haired woman in a flowing green dress slowly materialized behind it, like a spirit guardian.

The Plant Domain gently expanded.

Life force surged to fill the stone chamber.

The Blue Silver Grass's leaves shimmered with golden ripples, alive and growing visibly—nourished by the purest life energy.

Tang Hao, astonished, whispered to himself, "I never imagined. Ah Yin, can you truly live again? Ah Yin..."

Tears welled and streamed down the face of the great Douluo, trembling as he caressed the leaves, letting his tears soak the earth beneath.

The Blue Silver Grass, once about a foot long, stretched to nearly three feet; growth halted there.

Yun Chuan knew this was the plant's natural limit—fertilizer can speed growth, but a seedling won't instantly mature without the Plant Overlord's intervention.

Moved by the scene and the stirring of native life, Yun Chuan approached and lightly touched the grass.

To their astonishment, two longest leaves slowly moved, one wrapping around Tang Hao's hand, the other entwining Yun Chuan's finger.

A pure, intense spiritual resonance radiated—far stronger than normal Blue Silver Grass.

As Plant Overlord, Yun Chuan clearly sensed the deep affection and bloodline connection—this was no fake.

Instinctively, he knew this Blue Silver Grass was indeed the embodiment of his birth mother.
