Chapter 3: The Man in White
Smoke curled off the asphalt.Engines cooled.Hearts didn't.
Kaze killed the ignition and stepped out of his GT-R, sweat slicking his brow. Across from him stood the man in white—flawless jacket, surgical calm.
No one else dared move.
Only his voice broke the silence.
"You ran well, Kaze. Just like your brother did."
Kaze froze. His fists clenched before he could stop them.
"You knew Kenji?""I trained him," the man said. "Before he broke the code. Before he vanished."
The crowd whispered.
Kenji. The missing prodigy.Kaze's older brother. Presumed dead.
The man turned, walking toward the shadows of the tunnel.
"If you want answers, win the next round. Two nights from now. Port 17.""Blacklist Tier 7. No rules. No exits."
Then he was gone.
Back at the garage, Nyx leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"You're shaking," she said.Kaze didn't answer. She smirked. "You didn't know your brother was part of the Blacklist."
He looked up. "You did?""I've raced him. Lost once. Then he disappeared. Same way you will if you're not careful."
She tossed him a flash drive.
"What's this?""Kenji's last race data. Before he went off-grid."
Kaze plugged it in.
A screen flickered—GPS logs, intercepted messages, surveillance footage... and one line that made his stomach drop:
"Target K. Classified. Kill on confirmation."
Kenji was hunted.
And now—so is Kaze.
To be continued...
