Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Inferno and Thunder: The Awakening

Once the Marquis left, time passed very fast and brought us 1 year and 8 months later in the future where Viktor and Arthur were having a spar using the 3rd Form, Chapter 7. Arthur used the 9th move Bolt Cage and trapped Viktor. Trying to escape he used the 3rd move Thunderstorm Barrage to destroy the cage. Every time he broke a thunderbolt that made the cage, Arthur made the cage smaller so that Viktor couldn't move anymore. Arthur's move was a variation of the Bolt Cage, because it was meant to be used once and not repeatedly until the opponent couldn't move anymore but to trap and stall for time and use a special move.

"Let's end the spar here." the supervisor said.

"For me it's good."

"What the prince said."

"Let us clean up fast and after that you can leave to do something else."

Once they had finished cleaning up and taken off the equipment they looked at the twins who were doing the same training as they had done in the past, now that they are both 7 years old it was their turn to prepare for the academy. As they were ready to leave, someone else opened the door of the training ground. It was the Commander accompanied by 5 children. They bowed after seeing the three people.

"We greet the First Prince, the young duke and the Commander of the Guardian Knights."

"Good afternoon Marquis Aegon, you are finally back but a little late anyway." Arthur said.

"Who are the 5 people next to you Commander?" Viktor asked.

"I will let them introduce themself, if you find it good?"

The Commander of the Guardian Knights nodded.

"Why not." Viktor answered.

After their permission everyone's eyes were on First Prince Arthur.

"Why are you looking at me, just start introducing yourself."

"Okay First Prince Arthur, my name is Chris Reddragon, the first son, first child and the heir of Marquis Aegon Reddragon the Royal Knight Commander."

He looked like his father both had red eyes and golden hair, the only difference was that his fathers hair was slicked back and his was not. Chris was wearing a white suit with red accents.

"My name is Ilya Aster, the first daughter, first child and the heir of Countess Isabell Aster."

Ilya has long black hair to her back and has beautiful dark blue flame eyes. She was wearing a red dress with black accents.

"I'am Daniel Emberfall, the first son and second child of Marquis James Emberfall."

He has central parting red hair and purple eyes. He is wearing a purple suit with dark accents matching his eyes.

"I am Martha Stones, the second daughter and the third child of Viscount Liam Stones."

Martha's eyes are black and she has long light brown hair. She is wearing a blue dress with white accents.

"And my name is Aris Tikan, the first daughter and second child of Countess Elena Tikan."

She has long silver hair and golden eyes. Aris is wearing a purple dress with golden accents.

"Good afternoon you all, my name is First Prince Arthur Von Reinhardt, the heir of the Zenon Kingdom. Let's go somewhere else so that we won't disturb my younger siblings Second Prince Aiden Von and First Princess Sarah Von Reinhardt."

As he said that they left the training ground together and went to the visitors room in the palace. Arthur sat down, Viktor stood on his right side and the Guardian Knight Commander stood on his left side. Seeing how they were standing, the six visitors also stood and didn't sit down because the people in front of them could end their family the moment they wanted.

"How did your operation go, Marquis Aegon?"

"It went well, First Prince."

"First Prince, is it true that you asked my father to meet us?

"Yes Chris, my father, King Marcus Von Reinhardt said I should meet you all because we will be entering the academy together and become friends for political reasons in the future."

"Eeeeeeh! The King wants us to be close with the First Prince. I need to brag about it before my brother. Sorry, my manners. " Aris said.

"I thought with the way the Marquis was speaking he would return when we entered the third stage, but he returned faster than I thought, so if you want we can go somewhere with us after next month."

"We would be pleased to go out with the First Prince and the young Duke." Chris said.

"Let's meet on the 16th of October in the Royal Academy. My father asked if I wanted to go in his place. We will go watch the battle competition of the first and second years at least because they will be our seniors in the academy once we are enrolled."

"We would like to go with you." Chris said.

Arthur looked behind him and saw the others nodding that they were okay with Chris's statement.

"See you then, we are leaving."

As Arthur stood up and went to the door the Guardian Knight Commander and the young were following him, when he stood before the door he released his fire aura which had now reached the Expert Master realm. Not even 1 second passed the door was already open and they walked out leaving the visitors in the room.

"Father is that what you meant with monstrous growth, because I remember you telling me before you went on your mission, that I needed to train hard so that I could surpass the prince and young duke. Seeing them now I realized that they are already too far ahead."

"Marquis Aegon, could you help us all to grow stronger before we enter the academy?" Daniel asked.

"Please?" they asked in unison.

"I'l see what I can do for you. Uhm. You can go to my estate to train over there with the Knight Commander and I will send a mage over there."

The kids bowed and said.

"Thank you Marquis!"

"Thanks father!.

"You can please me by becoming beginner Master or third circled mages. Except for Ilya, you should choose because you are a magic swordsman. What will you choose?"

"I will first try to reach peak Expert to balance my mana and aura and after that I will try for the third circle."

"Good choice Ilya. Butler."

"Yes Commander."

"Prepare a carriage so that they can go to my estate."

"You can leave in ten minutes."

"Okay understood." Chris said.

***************************************************************

As they left the visitors, they escorted Viktor to the carriage.

"See you next week, Prince Arthur and Commander."

"See you later."

"Till then young duke."

Once they had escorted Viktor they went to the palace, as they arrived at the door they went their separate ways. The Guardian Knight Commander returned to his position next to the king and Arthur went to his room. As he entered his room he took a warm bath and after that he went to the kitchen and took some apples to eat.

'Over a year, I will be spending my time again in the academy. I hope that this time I will have a quiet life there.'

As Arthur finished eating the apples, he went to the Royal Garden visiting his mother and played with Luna and his newborn baby little brother Roman. He is now exactly 4 months old. After that he left with them to the dinner room and found the king and the twins in the dining room.

Once they finished eating dinner time passed fast and three weeks passed in no time. Arthur had continued training and had won all his spars against Viktor. There are only 3 days left of their swordsmanship training with a teacher , after that they can train alone and try to reach a higher realm in aura cultivation.

As Arthur finished his training for the day, he wrote a letter to Viktor to suggest camping after the match in the northern forest of the kingdom and maybe we should also invite the other five to come with us.

When he finished writing the letter he gave it to the butler to send it to Vikot in the morning. The next day during his noon training he received a letter from Viktor. In the letter was written that he will come with him camping and told that he already sent a letter to them to tell them they are invited to come with them camping in the northern forest of the Zenon Kingdom.

As he had finished reading the letter he released the 3rd Form, Chapter 7, Move 2, Lightning King' Edge using all of his remaining aura making the ground split and forming a crater of 8 meters deep in the training ground making the twins and their instructor Marquis Aegon scared.

"I am leaving and I will also get someone to repair the training ground, so you don't need to worry about it."

After 30 minutes from when Arthur left, someone arrived there to clean up the mess left by the prince.

Once in his room he took a bath and went to see his father in his office. As he arrived he knocked on the door.

" It is me father."

"Enter Arthur."

Arhtur entered the room and stood before his father's bureau.

"Father, may I ask you somethings?

"You can Arthur."

"The first question is if I could go camping for five days with six other people in the northern forest of the kingdom."

"Who may they be?"

"They are Viktor Vermius, Chris Reddragon, the son of the Royal Knight Commander, Ilya Aster, Daniel Emberfall, Martha Stones and Aris Tikan."

"You can go if you take 20 Guardian Knights and 20 Royal Knights with you."

"For me it is okay if they come with us. The second question was if they could accompany me to the Royal Academy?"

"They can come with you. It is even good if you come with me you can see the academy, see how the system works and meet your future professors and seniors."

"That's what we also thought. And the last question is if I can get an elixir with a lot of mana and if possible pure mana."

"Yes you can get one. I will send someone to bring it to your room."

"Thank you father, have a good afternoon."

"Have a nice day Arthur."

As Arthur returned to his room, time seemed to blur, and one and a half days passed in what felt like mere hours. He devoted himself entirely to cultivating his aura, sitting cross-legged in perfect meditation as streams of mana from the surrounding air flowed steadily into his body. The energy swirled within him, tingling through every nerve, saturating his veins, and filling his dantian with a pulsing, rhythmic intensity. Arthur had already refined roughly seventy-five percent of the absorbed mana into pure aura, the energy glowing faintly in the corners of his vision as he concentrated, each heartbeat syncing with the flow of power inside him.

Hours later, Arthur completed the conversion, having refined all the absorbed mana into aura. The quantity of energy within him rivaled that of someone at the intermediate Grandmaster level, yet he was far from finished. Determined to push further, he began compressing the aura in his dantian, focusing all of his willpower and energy on breaking through into the Grandmaster stage. Almost immediately, a fierce burning sensation engulfed his body. It felt as though his veins were rivers of molten fire, every muscle and bone ignited in an invisible blaze, each pulse of energy threatening to consume him entirely. Arthur gritted his teeth, sweat pouring down his face, as the flames intensified, racing through him at a speed no ordinary eyes could follow.

Not content with fire alone, he added the element of lightning to accelerate the process. Sparks danced along his skin, the dual aura of fire and lightning circling within him at a blinding pace. The heat and electricity merged seamlessly, igniting a storm within his body. Colors shifted, the fire burning blue, a sign of its tremendous power and stability. His mind screamed in focus as he struggled to maintain control, molding the chaotic energy, shaping it to his will.

Finally, after an agonizing struggle that felt like an eternity, Arthur managed to harmonize the two energies. A serene, controlled blaze now pulsed through him, and in that moment, he entered the beginner Grandmaster level. The sudden release of tension drained him completely, and he collapsed unconscious onto the floor. Slowly, the fire began to calm, returning to a steady glow within his dantian, settling into a deep, stable core of power.

When he awoke that evening, his body ached yet radiated newfound strength. He circulated his aura, feeling the enhanced flow, the improved density, and the responsiveness of his muscles. Every fiber of his being vibrated with potential, and he knew, without a doubt, that his progress had reached a new threshold. "Yes! I finally did it," Arthur whispered, a triumphant smile spreading across his face. The journey was far from over, but the first true breakthrough into Grandmaster power had been achieved, and his body, mind, and aura were stronger than ever before.

When the prince was finished looking at his body, he went to the Royal Garden to repeat the last chapter of the 3rd Form. On his way out he ordered a servant to prepare him food for when he is finished and to make preparations for his camping.

When the prince arrived on his usual training ground in the Royal Garden Arthur started to practice the last chapter. As time passed he started to use his lightning aura, to improve the speed of his body.

After repeating the chapter 7 - Mastery of Tempest for 100 times with lightning aura, Arthur went to the dining room of the Royal Palace. Because it was already late there was nobody but some guards and servants.

While eating his meal a servant entered the dining room and bowed on one knee.

"Speek." Arthur said.

"Prepeparations for your leave are finished and your parents have a present for you after your spar with the young duke."

"Ok. Once we are gone you should prepare my stuff for another leave but this time to the Royal Academy."

"Understood, my prince."

"You can leave now if you want to go."

"Good night my prince."

***************************************************************

The next day, early in the morning, Arthur was eating his breakfast in the quiet of the palace dining hall. The air smelled faintly of baked bread and roasted meat, but his mind was already elsewhere. Servants were bustling around, preparing his things for the carriage, loading training gear and robes with practiced efficiency. Arthur finished quickly, leaving the table without a word, and walked toward the Royal Training Ground, the crisp morning air filling his lungs. Every step he took felt purposeful, each movement measured, as if he were already synchronizing with the flow of aura he intended to cultivate.

Once he reached the center of the training ground, Arthur sat down in a perfect meditation stance. He closed his eyes and allowed his body to relax, feeling the residual fire aura from the previous day circulating warmly through his veins. It was time to begin the next phase: cultivating his lightning aura. Almost immediately, a faint hum of energy filled the air. As Arthur focused, blue arcs of lightning began crackling around him, surrounding the training ground with an electric charge so intense it made the nearby leaves quiver. His fingers tingled violently, and sweat started to bead on his forehead as he poured all his concentration into controlling the raw energy.

Minutes turned into hours as Arthur condensed the lightning aura, shaping it with extreme precision. The energy surged in his hands, fluctuating unpredictably with each attempt to stabilize it.

"Why isn't it working!"

He gritted his teeth, forcing the lightning to bend to his will. After several long attempts, Arthur made subtle adjustments, aligning the flow of the energy with his body's natural rhythm. Slowly, the blue lightning began to shift, its hue deepening until it glowed red, a sign of the aura adapting perfectly to him. His muscles trembled from the strain, and his entire body hummed with potential energy.

When Arthur finally opened his eyes, the training ground felt alive. He noticed the twins, Aiden and Sarah, entering quietly to continue their own swordsmanship drills. Arthur's attention remained fixed on his aura, but he couldn't resist a glance at the young knights-in-training, their disciplined movements reflecting hours of practice.

'They are too disciplined and their swordsmanship is already better than Viktor's when he was their age.'

Seeing that neither Viktor nor the supervisor of the final spar had arrived yet, Arthur decided to experiment. He extended his hands, concentrating on shaping the red lightning aura into a sword.

At first, the aura took a rough form, a jagged blade of crackling energy, humming with raw power. But the moment he tried to stabilize it, the energy surged uncontrollably. Sparks flew, the ground beneath him crackled, and the aura exploded violently in his hands. The force of the explosion sent Arthur flying backward, crashing onto the ground with a heavy thud. Smoke and sparks filled the training ground, causing the twins to halt abruptly. Aiden and Sarah shielded their faces instinctively, stepping back as the lingering red arcs of lightning sizzled across the field.

As 20 seconds passed the Royal Guards entered the training ground, what they saw left them speechless. The whole training ground was filled with smoke, there was a huge crater in the center of the training ground, the royal twins were standing in the smoke covering their eyes and the First Prince crashed into the wall of the training ground.

"You four take the Royal Twins out of here and we will get the First Prince out of the wall.", the highest ranking knight said.
