It was a cold, cloudy night. Far away in a small town in India, light snowflakes drifted through the air. A nearby sodium streetlight flickered dimly on the roadside.
A 21-year-old boy named Sameer was heading home after visiting a friend. He walked briskly, half-worried, half-afraid — knowing his mom would probably beat his ass for being out so late.
He took a lonely street shortcut that passed by an old, abandoned school. As he walked, memories of his childhood began to flood in as he saw the school building — days of playing with friends, teasing each other, and the carefree life of school.
Suddenly, his eyes caught something.
A strange skinny, creepy figure with dark red eyes, standing in one of the classroom.
At first Sameer just ignore him as it seems that his mind playing tricks because of cold weather.
But as he move ahead that thing keeps appearing in different classrooms.
Sameer feels a weird feeling of fear his legs were shivering but his whole body was sweating a lot. His face become dull.
Suddenly, horrifying memories of his school flash before his eyes—students screaming, blood everywhere, lifeless bodies scattered across classrooms. A news report echoes in his mind: "School closed due to unexplained supernatural incidents." The gates slammed shut. Locked. His heartbeat increases.
He kept chanting Hanuman chalisa.
Suddenly a loud sound of nearby church bell rang.
He check the time, it's 12 midnight. But afterwards when he saw towards school, it's quite nothing there just some cold wind blowing lightly. Everything went silent even his heart beat came back to normal.
After this he calmed himself down but his mind kept saying " what was that? I am not dumb enough to go and check out on that thing alone I am going straight to home and gonna tell this to my friends hopefully they believe me ".
As Sameer walked away, the strange figure reappeared on the terrace. It smiled—a wide,creepy, unnatural grin—and slowly tilted its head… nearly 180 degrees.
