Thornak's challenge echoed through the battlefield, and the massive brown Lycan, leader of the Red Hand, turned to face him. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, the battle around them seemed to freeze.
The brown Lycan, his fur matted with dirt and blood, sneered at Thornak. "You think you can defeat me?" he growled.
Thornak smiled, his golden eyes gleaming. "I don't think, I know."
With a swift and deadly movement, Thornak closed the distance between them. The brown Lycan lunged, but Thornak was faster. He dodged the attack and struck, his claws raking across his chest.
The lycan roared in pain, stumbling backward as Thornak pinned him to the ground. Thornak's jaws closed around his throat, but he didn't kill him.
"I surrender," the leader growled, in defeat.
Thornak placed something around his neck and released him, and the brown Lycan shifted into his human form, his face twisted in anger.
"You are beneath me," Thornak growled.
