Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The World That Should Not Exist

"I was given everything — but I had nothing to hold onto."

– Izayami Tsukihiro

A crack tore through the fabric of space.

In that instant, the void spat him out like a rejected god.

He fell.

But there was no sky. No clouds. No gravity to obey.

Only floating ruins, inverted oceans, black suns, and landmasses drifting like shattered glass across an endless sky of shifting color.

Welcome to Eternavexus — a world that defied order.

He crashed into a pillar of crystal and stone, causing an explosion of molecular dust. Yet his body didn't break. No pain. No bruises.

Just… silence.

☁️ Awakening

Izayami sat up slowly.

His hair, once dark, now shimmered with silvery-blue streaks. His eyes glowed faintly, a swirling mix of violet and dark gold. His body felt weightless — but not weak. As if the concept of weight itself had no power over him now.

The landscape was surreal. Floating islands circled one another like planets. Strange beasts roamed upside-down terrain. Dragons roaming the twisted skies. Celestial storms danced across the heavens with trails of color. Time flowed unevenly — he could see petals falling upwards, rivers reversing midstream, stars blinking like thoughts.

And yet…

He felt calm.

"I'm not scared anymore but.. where the hell am I?," he whispered.

His voice echoed… and then faded into wind.

⚙️ The System Interface

A familiar chime rang inside his mind.

"…or what am I?"

He clenched his fist, and the system responded.

🌪️ Power Test: Molecule Control

He raised his hand to the air. Wind obeyed without hesitation.

No chanting. No spell circle. Just will.

The molecules around his body bent, swirled, and formed wings of pure wind, vast and ethereal, trailing energy as they flapped once — and hurled him skyward.

He flew without effort, weaving through ruins, over fragments of worlds that once were.

He pointed to a passing boulder the size of a house.

With a thought, its molecular bonds unraveled. It crumbled into dust — no, into individual atoms, drifting like ash.

He grinned for the first time in what felt like eternity.

"So this… is mine now."

🔥 Power Test: True Rewrite

He landed on a broken cliff overlooking an ocean of stars. A skeletal tree stood nearby — dead, cracked, hollow.

He held out his hand.

[True Rewrite: Conceptual Override]

Object: Tree

Current Concept: Death

Rewrite: Life

The tree pulsed with light — and bloomed.

Not just with flowers, but with constellations growing from its branches. Each petal shimmered like a galaxy.

"…I rewrote reality."

He stepped back, awed even by his own power.

But the system flashed a warning.

[Caution: True Rewrite drains existential stability.]

[Overuse may erase the user from reality.]

He laughed bitterly.

"Even now… there's a price."

💠 Power Test: Fictional Devourer

A shadow moved nearby — a beast formed of nightmare ink, something born from a collapsed dream.

It screeched. Charged.

Instinct took over.

He extended his hand, and a vortex formed.

[Fictional Devourer – Activate]

The creature shrieked as it was pulled in, pixel by pixel, memory by memory — until only silence remained. In its place, glowing fragments floated.

[You have acquired: Dream Beast Physiology – Passive Traits absorbed.]

He didn't just kill it. He consumed its fictional nature.

"…I could become anything," he murmured. "If I keep devouring… everything…"

🌌 Reflection

Time had no meaning here, yet he stood still for what felt like hours or even days.

Looking at his hands.

Feeling the weight of his new existence.

He was no longer human.

He was no longer part of the earth he once knew.

He didn't even belong to this world, yet he was already rewriting it.

"I was broken," he whispered.

His wind wings faded. His eyes dimmed to calm gold. The tree beside him gently rustled — its stars glowing softly.

"But now…"

He stared into the chaotic horizon, where floating relics shimmered, and divine ruins beckoned.

"…I will break everything else before they break me again."

🏛️ The Untouched Ruin

But just as he turned to leave the cliffside… he stopped.

Far in the distance — beyond a fractured valley and suspended waterfalls — stood a single structure.

A ruin, yet untouched.

Perfect.

Pristine.

Its pillars stood tall, unmarred by time. No storm touched it. No beast approached. The sky above it shimmered differently, as if bending around it… avoiding it.

Izayami narrowed his eyes.

"…What is that?…"

He couldn't explain it. But something ancient — older than Eternavexus — pulsed from within those walls.

He felt it watching.

He said nothing more.

And without spreading his wings, he turned his gaze away… but not his thoughts.
